Jean Gage turned around. Previously, she had been sched by Ivy to beco a companion for drinking and was taken advantage of, naturally feeling resentful. And this fact was spoken from lody Thorne’s mouth, making her unwilling to believe it. She felt even worse than a fool.
So when she heard yesterday that Ivy was finding soone to kidnap lody Thorne to take nude photos of her, she was watching with a mindset to enjoy the chaos, wondering if lody Thorne would escape or have her scandal spread everywhere.
And now, seeing this, she was convinced that lody Thorne was here because Ivy’s plan failed. At this mont, she seed indeed clever.
"Why don’t we cooperate?" Jean Gage spoke, "I know you hate Ivy and want to ruin her reputation, and I also plan to get revenge on her. Why not join forces?"
"Join forces?" lody Thorne chuckled lightly, her clear eyes flickering with a hint of coldness. Indeed, she hated Ivy for making her suffer miserably in the past life, but she didn’t need to team up with anyone. Just Caleb is enough. Ivy’s downfall is bound to happen sooner or later.
"If they had succeeded yesterday, you would be the one mocking today. Compared to them, you’re no better," lody Thorne rcilessly exposed her.
"You..." Jean Gage’s face darkened but quickly changed. Now she felt lody Thorne was the best partner, so she decided not to argue with her and pointed towards Ivy’s direction, "What if I can help you push Ivy out and take the lead role?"
"This... certainly is tempting," lody Thorne replied with a laugh.
Jean Gage "..." Damn, she feels trapped!
"So, do we have a deal now?" Jean Gage asked through gritted teeth.
"No," lody Thorne shook her head lightly, "You should still go back to Ivy’s side."
"You want to be an undercover?" Jean Gage’s face turned completely dark. Though not from a noble family, she was still considered a wealthy lady, and now she’s being asked to go undercover!!!
lody Thorne’s clear eyes showed a hint of amusent, "This isn’t really undercover. Didn’t you always want to be a journalist? If your mom hadn’t sent you here, you would have chosen Journalism as your major, wouldn’t you, instead of coming here?"
"How do you know?"
"Just take her as practice," lody Thorne gestured towards Ivy’s direction. As for the lead role, she wouldn’t take it, the naive and sweet never leaves a morable impression like the villain role does.
Coincidentally, Ivy was looking over from across the crowd, and seeing lody Thorne, her expression suddenly changed. Seeing her reminded her that the two people she hired yesterday hadn’t sent her lody Thorne’s nude photos at all. Did they fail?
"Practicing is fine, but what’s owed must be paid," lody Thorne quickly nestled into Jean Gage’s arms, softly whimpering.
Jean Gage "..."
Her hand nudged the position of lody Thorne’s head, "I’m already not well-endowed, don’t flatten it any more."

Ivy, seeing lody Thorne, assud that those who failed to update her yesterday succeeded. Especially with lody Thorne having a scarf around her neck, perhaps left behind by those two!
"lody, what’s wrong?" Ivy walked towards lody Thorne, followed by several other won.
"She ran into a bit of trouble," Jean Gage signaled to Ivy, hinting, "Maybe about the photos from last night."
