Asher cleared his throat to change the topic, and Lucy and the others knew better than to press further.

This part was important, so he needed to get it sorted out.
"I need to strengthen the connection that allows to leave where I'm trapped. And for that, I need a portal."
Lucy tilted her head. "A portal?"
"Yes," he nodded." But it isn't just a simple one."
Ash raised an eyebrow. "And you need us to act like guides, right?"
"Yes," he paused and letting out a sigh. "Although… right now, the three of you are too weak to generate enough frequency for my real body to pass through."
He didn't an to mock them, but that was just his honest opinion.
Lucy noticed this and sighed. She leaned closer and whispered, "Go easy on the children."
He realized his mistake and tried to salvage the situation, especially when he saw the three looking as if they had made a terrible mistake by having his blood and still ending up weak.
"But don't worry. Now that I'm here, I'll make sure to raise all of you to at least S Rank."
This caught their attention. They didn't even understand what it ant, since the ranking in the demon world worked differently.
Currently, the three of them were barely reaching A Rank. If they ventured the universe now, veteran warriors from Starfront could easily defeat them.
Even those in B Rank would be difficult for them to defeat. That was how vast the universe was.
On top of that, they relied too much on their bloodline—except for Ash—so their underdeveloped fighting styles would leave them at a disadvantage.
This was a case of complacency. They lived a life with little to no real threat, and it had made them overconfident.
"Father, are you really going to teach us?" Ashmae asked, her face glowing with happiness and warmth.
"That's the plan, but it won't be easy, so be prepared."
His words were a challenge, and it motivated the three of them—they all wanted to do their best to earn their father's recognition.
"Father, can I ask what you think about my magic mastery?" Ash inquired. Among the three, he was the only one who had dutifully studied magic and followed the sa path as Asher.
"You're definitely stronger than I was by a thousand miles when I was at your age."
Ash's face lit up, and Lucy couldn't help but find her son's reaction cute.
When Asher was six, he was barely three feet tall, and has no power whatsoever.
"How about , Father?" Ashley asked, not wanting to be left out.
Asher touched his chin. "Your body and talent are definitely the highest, but you're too arrogant and lazy. You need to gain better control over your emotions. If you fix that, you'll have the best chance of reaching SSS Rank."
"SSS Rank? What's that, Father?"
"It's the peak of existence in the universe. Once you reach that level, you can count on one hand the number of people who could still threaten you."
Ashley clenched his fist, pride swelling at the thought of his father's expectations.
He straightened his posture. "I… I'll do it, Father. I'll control my emotions and train harder. I won't waste this chance."
"Good. But just getting stronger isn't enough. With great power cos great responsibility. I want all of you to take care of each other. Rember, family is the most important thing in the universe. They're the ones you can count on when things get tough."
He let the silence hang before turning to Ash and Ashmae.
"And although I said Ashley has the highest chance of reaching SSS , that doesn't an you two can't. Luck and effort also play a role, so the three of you should focus on growing stronger together."
Ashley straightened his shoulders. " I'll watch over them, and I'll get stronger too. I won't let anyone hurt our family."
Ashmae's eyes softened, and she nodded cutely. "We'll take care of each other, Father. I promise."
Ash, though quieter, also gave a firm nod. "I understand. Family cos first. I'll do my part."
For the first ti, the three siblings felt truly united, and it all happened simply because of Asher's presence.
It was amazing to see how much having a father figure could impact even supernatural beings like them.
"Father, if you don't mind asking… what's your current rank? And can you tell us what our ranks are?" Ash was curious about their current level.
Asher leaned forward, pausing to consider if it was the right ti to tell them the truth.
It could either motivate them or discourage them, but when he saw the intensity in their eyes, he realized he didn't need to worry.
They were his blood after all, so he shouldn't underestimate their willpower.
"My rank? My original body is beyond SSS , placing in a class of my own. But the body I'm using now is around SS ."
The three where all stunned by this revelation.
Ashley's mouth fell open, his earlier pride shifting into pure awe.
"Beyond SSS … does that an Father is the strongest in the entire universe?"
