Index… Witch of Destruction… the end of a universe.

If any of it was true, then there had to be a record sowhere—sothing that confird or denied it.

"I'm losing my patience"

The Titan's entire body trembled. Even its red neon veins quivered as the invisible restrictions carved deeper into its flaming flesh.

"I'll speak!" it shouted."I'll tell you what little I know!"

Asher said nothing. Just lowered his raised hand.

The Titan coughed—if such a being could even cough—and released a low, pained growl.

"There's… one place where her story still exists... The archive."

Another unfamiliar term. He decided to stay quiet and keep listening.

"It's where the universe keeps its mory. Every action, every life, everything—it's all recorded there. Even peak existence is just footnotes in its halls."

"So you've seen it?" Asher raised an eyebrow.

"No… not directly. I only heard of it from those who once ruled the universe. The Archive is not ant for beings like . The knowledge within… it devours the unworthy."

Asher went quiet. His mind raced with more hypotheses.

If all this information ca from a selected few, then it could have been changed.

It could all be lies.Propaganda made to turn everyone against her.

"Where is the Archive?"

The Titan didn't hesitate.

"It's at the very center of the universe," it said quickly.

"So it's on a planet?"

"The Archive isn't just a place—it's its own dinsion. Even the strongest beings, those ranked SSS , don't dare to enter it without a reason. Too many have gone in and never co back."

"Why?"

"I don't know."

"How about the exact location?"

It began describing the general area—what star system it was in, and other nearby regions.

He felt no trace of lies in its words.

And that was all he needed.

"Good job. Now it's ti to die."

His hand tightened into a fist. Instantly, the pressure around it exploded.

The titan roared, thrashing in desperation. "Wait! Please—!"

But rcy never ca.

The Titan's molten body shrank, layer by layer, collapsing under its own power until it was no larger than a glowing orb.

Asher opened his hand, and the pill drifted toward him.

He caught it between his fingers, calm and silent, then pressed it into his palm.

A soft light flashed, and the pill lted into his skin. The power inside it flowed into him, restoring the energy his clone had lost.

Unlike his true body, this one could not heal on its own—it needed to absorb energy to recover.

It was a strange twist of fate: the devourer, once feared by many, had beco food for another.

For Asher, such result was expected. If he had been weaker, he would've been destroyed—and everyone he loved would've died.

In the end, only power could truly protect the people he cared about. Not words. Not compassion. Not kindness.

Only absolute, overwhelming power.

Far away, in another corner of the universe, a massive castle floated through the endless stars.

Its size was beyond imagination—large enough to rival a moon.

Towers of black stone and glowing roots stretched upward.

Inside its grand halls, a soft green light pulsed. A woman sat on a throne carved from living wood.

Her skin was like polished bark, and vines wrapped gently around her arms and neck. Leaves grew where hair should have been, shifting with every breath she took.

She was calm—until sothing inside her heart twisted.

Her eyes widened. On the armrest beside her, a crystal suddenly cracked.

A thin line of light cut through it, glowing bright before fading to gray.

"No…" she whispered, standing up so quickly that the vines around her snapped.

She picked up the crystal with trembling fingers. It was the one her husband had given her—an ancient bond forged between two beings of power.

If it broke, it could an only one thing.

He was gone.

The air around her shook as her energy fluctuated, causing the roots in the castle to twist violently.

"Impossible..."

The crystal pulsed once more, releasing faint red dust—the last trace of his power. She clutched it close to her chest, eyes burning with anger and sorrow.

"Your death will not be in vain," she said softly. "I will find the one who did this… even if I have to tear a whole galaxy."

With her mind made up, the wooden queen rose from her throne. The sorrow in her eyes had hardened into resolve.

She spread her hand, and the roots covering the throne room began to twist and hum, responding to her will. The entire castle trembled as power surged through it.

"Move," she whispered.

The living fortress obeyed. Its roots coiled inward, and the enormous structure began to shift.

The outer walls glowed with green runes, then cracked open the fabric of space itself.

A rift appeared before it—dark and endless, swirling with light from distant stars.

The castle slowly drifted forward, crossing into the rift that led toward the place where her husband's presence had vanished.

But even with all her power, the journey would not be quick. The universe was vast beyond asure, and distance could not be crossed by strength alone.

Ti itself seed to stretch and twist between each star.

Still, she didn't stop.

No matter how long it took, she would reach that place.

She would find the one who had ended her beloved husband and son—and when she did, the person would know what it ant to anger the Queen of the Vedant Titans.

"I'll crush you."

Author's Note:

Hey everyone, things have been pretty rough here lately.

Two super typhoons hit my country, and the power's still out in most areas even after almost two weeks. I'm lucky one of my friends has Starlink, but even then, it's been hard to find ti to write.

I really hope things get better soon because we're heading into one of the most important arcs of the story, and I wanted to have a better place to write my ideas.

Thanks for sticking with through all this—it really ans a lot.
