I won’t go into detail about the Qi Cultivation Realm. The Gathering Spirit Realm is simply a preparatory realm developed by the Zhengxuan Sect to lay a foundation for the Qi Cultivation Realm.
I’d like to mainly talk about a realm that might appear later: the Purple Viscera Realm. The word ’Viscera’ is intentional; it’s a reference to the ’five zang and six fu organs’ of Traditional Chinese dicine.
Hence the na, Purple Viscera.
Among the ’five zang and six fu’ organs, from the perspective of Traditional Chinese dicine, the five ’zang’ organs are considered yin, while the six ’fu’ organs are considered yang.
The aning of the Divine Organ Realm is also rooted in a concept from Traditional Chinese dicine: ’the five zang organs house the spirit (shen).’
The six ’fu’ organs are the warst parts of the human body. My thinking was inspired by the proverb ’Purple qi cos from the east,’ which also symbolizes the rising sun.
That’s why I ca to associate the color purple with ’yang,’ and thus nad the realm Purple Viscera.
As for the Soul Realm, my intention is to have it represent a person’s character and temperant. My writing may not be skilled enough, but I will do my best to write it well.
Although there are many different realms, their power levels are all ant to correspond one-to-one. I hope everyone can understand this. I didn’t want to simply na every realm using the sa progression—like Qi Cultivation, Foundation Establishnt, Golden Core, etc. That would feel perfunctory and wouldn’t properly illustrate or represent the reasons for Body Refinent or Soul Cultivation...
