Richard was not optimistic about Augus, as Emma clearly looked unwilling.

After observing for a while, he went to an inn.

That night, rain happened to fall over the city just after he entered the inn.

He decided to simply go to sleep.

Surprisingly, he slept quite peacefully, with no disturbances at all, even though he had robbed Dasmond earlier.

The latter clearly had yet to co up with a plan for revenge.

Because he slept so deeply, Richard only woke up when the sky had already begun to brighten.

He looked out the window and was stunned by the sheer number of pigeons flying across the city sky.

In every area, flocks of pigeons could be seen fluttering about. There were even countless roses falling from the sky, as if a rain of flowers were taking place.

Richard imdiately sat up, staring at the scene as he wondered whether this was a form of celebration for his wedding with Lilith later that night.

It was still early morning, yet the atmosphere was already lively.

"After all, the woman I’m about to marry is the queen who rules this kingdom," he thought with a smile.

He stood up and walked to the bathroom, cleaning himself as thoroughly as possible.

However, it was not ti yet, so he still wore casual clothes.

Even so, he could not help but wonder what kind of attire he should wear that night.

Up to now, he had not prepared anything. Naturally, it was impossible for him to wear ordinary clothes, no matter how fine they were.

As he was thinking, he was suddenly startled to see the Fire Spirit Queen appear inside his room.

"Queen, what are you doing here?" he asked instinctively.

He thought it was quite bold of her to enter his room directly. Hadn’t she been so wary of him doing sothing improper to her before?

Even though he would not do such a thing, as a beautiful woman, she should not be entering his room like this.

Fortunately, Richard’s thoughts were occupied with many things, so he did not feel any improper urges.

"Didn’t you tell to co and guard your wedding?" the woman replied.

Of course, he had told her to do so, but he had not told her to enter his room.

Richard chose not to dwell on that and instead said, "Queen, please help find suitable clothing for my wedding tonight."

As usual, the Fire Spirit Queen frowned, clearly displeased at being ordered around.

"I have no experience with such things," she replied.

Richard rolled his eyes at her response.

"I don’t care how you do it. What matters is that tonight, you co back with wedding attire. I want sothing like a white robe," Richard said.

He then walked to the door, left the inn, and still caught sight of the reluctant expression on the Fire Spirit Queen’s beautiful face.

Naturally, Richard did not spare a thought for her complaints.

He looked up at the sky and could confirm that roses were falling throughout the entire city.

The city’s activities were clearly different—many shops and restaurants were decorating their premises.

Even the people themselves appeared to be dressed in their finest attire.

Like it or not, the capital’s residents naturally had to take part in celebrating the queen’s wedding.

Richard wandered around for a while, and for so reason, given his current mood, he ended up at Master Alex’s residence.

Although Master Alex had seed eager for him to leave the previous night, this morning he was leisurely sitting on a chair beside his house, drinking wine with his legs crossed as he gazed at the pigeon-filled sky.

When he saw Richard, he smiled oddly.

"Boy, what brings you to my place?" he asked, waving for Richard to co closer.

"I don’t really know myself. I suddenly felt like coming here. Still, this is indeed a comfortable place within the city," Richard replied as he glanced around at the forest surrounding the area.

The entire forest was clearly Master Alex’s private property, which explained why no one else had built houses nearby.

"Are you feeling restless because you’re about to get married? But what could be making you restless? Your first night? I don’t think so. Judging by your face, you’re clearly no longer a virgin."

Richard: "..."

"Ehmm..." He cleared his throat instinctively.

This old man was far too sharp—and far too blunt.

It would be disastrous if Lilith were to hear sothing like this.

"Master Alex, please don’t say absurd things that aren’t true. By the way, have you ever heard of sothing that can allow soone to gain affinity with the Wind Elent?" Richard quickly changed the subject.

What he needed was information. After all, this was not sothing he could simply buy on a whim.

Master Alex seed to ponder upon hearing Richard’s words.

After a mont, he shook his head.

"I’ve never heard of it. Such things are extrely rare, and almost no one sells them. But why do you want the wind elent? Don’t you already have many elents?"

"I need it to make myself faster," Richard replied.

"Hahaha, do you feel slow?" Master Alex chuckled. "But you have lightning. That can also be used for speed."

"I know, but I haven’t found an Arcane Art that enhances speed through lightning. It’s not that such things don’t exist, but I need to make sure it’s the best kind."

"The best kind, huh. In that case, it truly doesn’t exist in this kingdom, or even in the Eastern Region. Even in the Central Region, it would be difficult to find. Even the Thundervale Clan’s might not suit your style."

"That’s why I’m looking for a way to gain affinity with wind. If I have it, I can fully rge with the wind and reach incredible speeds."

"Are you talking about the Supre Wind Soul of the Anderson Clan?" Master Alex guessed imdiately.

Richard nodded.

"Hm. Actually, you can try rging with the Supre Wind Soul even without having wind affinity. After rging, you’ll naturally gain wind affinity," Master Alex added.

"Really?" Richard was shocked—and confused.

"William said the main requirent is having at least 85% affinity with the Wind Elent. Even he hasn’t reached that level, so he can’t use that soul. So how can one rge with it without wind affinity?" Richard asked, seeking clarification.

He wondered if Master Alex had started drinking too much and was simply spouting nonsense.

"Hahaha. He just didn’t tell you the other thod. It’s extrely dangerous and extre, so he chose not to ntion it," Master Alex replied.

Richard frowned slightly as Master Alex continued, "You can forcibly implant the soul into your body. Of course, at first, it will violently resist you. You must endure it—how well you control it depends entirely on yourself. After that, you can hunt wind-elent magi at the sa level as you and absorb their blood to nourish the wind soul. Gradually, the soul will calm down and fully rge with you, leaving no further issues."

"For others, this would be nearly impossible, but you are a rare talent. Your magical foundation is extraordinary, so I’m fairly optimistic that you could withstand the wind soul’s rebellion."

Richard fell silent, contemplating everything he had just heard.

This thod was undoubtedly extre, as it practically required him to hunt wind-elent users.

It wasn’t that he saw it as sothing bad, but he knew it could beco quite troubleso.

Moreover, for a period of ti, he would have to seriously contend with the rebellion of the wind soul. As soone accustod to easier thods, this would be a significant challenge.

"It seems you’re not confident," Master Alex said upon seeing Richard’s expression.

"Well, even though I want to increase my speed, I’m still hard to defeat without it. So there’s no reason for to force myself," Richard replied with a chuckle.

"Master Alex, I’ll take my leave," he added, standing up before flying away.

He saw no point in staying any longer if he couldn’t obtain the information he wanted.

Suddenly, he thought of Sophia.

As soone with a brilliant career at the Golden Leaf Auction House, she might know more.

The only issue was that Richard didn’t know whether she was still in the city.

He flew toward her residence.

To his surprise, she was indeed there, sweeping fallen leaves in her courtyard, seemingly in a good mood.

She was still wearing a short nightdress, and her hair looked ssy despite being tied up.

Richard landed directly in front of her, and she only noticed him after he touched down.

"Richard," she exclaid with a startled expression.

"Where have you been these past few days?" Richard asked.

At his question, Sophia sohow beca awkward.

"Yeah... I was just wandering around," she replied softly, as if what had happened was sothing she couldn’t tell him.

Richard could more or less guess the reason, but he was too lazy to probe further.

"Has my younger brother returned yet?" Richard asked first.

Sophia shook her head.

"Not yet. He sent a letter saying he still wants to see the outside world," she said.

"Richard, don’t worry. Sooner or later, you’ll et again. After all, you are blood brothers," she added with a faint smile.

"By the way, I ca here for information. Have you ever heard of sothing that can give soone affinity with the Wind Elent?" Richard finally stated his purpose directly.

"The Wind Elent?" Sophia imdiately held her chin thoughtfully upon hearing that.
