"Brother Richard, I'm sorry… I've been a bit stressed lately," the young woman said.

Richard wanted her to forget that absurd mont, so he quickly changed the topic.

"Carla, I want to enter the World of Death just for training, but I lack information about it. Can you tell what you know?" he asked.

Naturally, the Order of the Crimson Veil possessed the most knowledge about the World of Death. As the granddaughter of their strongest ancestor, Carla should know more than almost anyone else.

"Brother Richard, is this because you want to improve your realm?" Carla asked in return.

She was sharp enough to imdiately understand his situation after those seven years.

"Yes…" Richard nodded.

Carla gave a faint smile.

"Information about the World of Death is forbidden to be shared. I can't tell you, even if I want to, because my grandfather sealed those mories. However, just follow later—I'll take you to a place where you can break many of your limits, allowing you to absorb more Aether and advance your realm."

"Alright. But it's fine if I hide my appearance with a Phantom Robe, right?" Richard replied.

"For now, I don't want to reveal my return."

"Yeah, that's fine…" Carla nodded.

"Oh, damn… my grandfather is calling …" The young woman suddenly frowned, as if being interrupted at the most important mont of her life.

"Brother Richard, I'll go first. I'll co find you later," she said.

"Alright…"

After Richard responded, Carla leapt out the window and flew toward the crimson mountain.

Richard let out a sigh as she left.

His charm seed to have driven this woman crazy—and he couldn't entirely bla himself, considering how easily his own desires could be stirred.

"Eh…" Richard was just about to leave when soone suddenly appeared at the window.

"Elena," he said, surprised.

His face was still uncovered, so she could clearly see him—but how did she know he was here?

Unless Carla had told her. Richard didn't believe it could be a coincidence.

Even if Elena had simply passed by, she wouldn't have noticed his presence.

"You really are Richard…" Elena said, just as surprised.

"Yes…" Richard nodded instinctively.

To him, Elena was rely soone he knew in passing.

He had once seen Luke approaching her and had even helped him say a few words to improve her impression—though it ultimately failed.

Still, Richard wasn't blind. From the way she looked at him, and rembering what Carla had said to Luke…

It wasn't because of Gray.

"Miss Elena, is there sothing you need?" Richard asked when she remained silent.

"Richard, do you still rember my uncle—the weapon forger?" Elena replied with a question that confused him.

"Yes…" Richard nodded again.

Though he had never t the man personally, the Red Star Empress had told him how extraordinary his craftsmanship was.

Despite being only a newly advanced Ancient Sovereign, he could forge top-quality Tier 7 weapons—as long as the materials were available.

"Is there sothing?" Richard asked.

At the very least, she seed to have a different purpose in coming to him.

That eased his mind slightly.

Even if he admitted he couldn't always control his desires, it didn't an he wanted every beautiful woman he t.

"My uncle has created the greatest weapon he has ever forged. It suits you perfectly—it has the ability to upgrade itself as long as it's fed the right materials. It can even integrate with your Ignis Volt Core. You might be interested in using it, as my uncle intends to give it to you so it can be wielded by the most suitable person."

"Oh…" Richard hadn't expected sothing like this.

"Is your uncle really willing to give it to for free?" he asked.

If soone wanted to give him sothing, he wouldn't refuse—as long as there were no imdiate strings attached. Like William and the Anderson Clan, it could simply be an investnt for the future.

Still, his interest wasn't overwhelmingly high.

After all, he already possessed the Skylight Sword and the spear of the Demon Fla Grand Sovereign—both Grand Weapons.

No matter how good Elena's uncle's weapon was, it couldn't surpass a Grand Weapon.

However, he still had to respect the man's intentions—especially since the weapon sounded interesting if it could integrate with his Ignis Volt Core.

"Yes. My uncle only wants the weapon to be used. He doesn't even expect repaynt, even if you achieve great success in the future. He just wants his creation to shine in the right hands. If you see it, you'll definitely be surprised," Elena replied.

"Is that so?" Richard grew even more curious.

"Where is your uncle?" he asked.

"I'll contact him and ask him to co," Elena said.

"Alright, I'll wait. Just arrange the place," Richard replied.

"Okay…" Elena nodded softly before leaving.

Phew…

Richard exhaled, waiting there.

But before Elena returned, Carla appeared again.

Richard couldn't help but feel puzzled—was her business with her grandfather already finished?

"Brother Richard, it seems my grandfather has sensed your presence here. It's because he recognized your scent on …" the young woman explained, her expression embarrassed and awkward.

Richard froze.

Did that man have a dog's nose?

He couldn't help but feel a bit worried.

"Grandfather didn't ask anything, but he wants to et you. He said he has a gift for you. It seems he's willing to support you—perhaps because the White Ancestor has been visiting him frequently."

"You're sure your grandfather wants to give a gift?" Richard asked.

Naturally, he was skeptical that the Crimson Grand Ancestor would give him anything.

It was just as likely that the man suspected sothing and wanted to beat him up sowhere no one could see.

"Maybe…" Carla answered softly, clearly uncertain.

"Brother Richard, my grandfather usually doesn't lie…" she added.

Richard thought for a mont before nodding.

It didn't matter.

At worst, he'd just get beaten up.

"Brother Richard, enter this portal so no one will see you…" Suddenly, an orange portal appeared in front of Carla.

When he first saw her earlier, she had co out of the sa kind of portal.

"What is this?" Richard asked curiously.

"My ability, of course. I can teleport without relying on artifacts—but it consus a lot of energy, so I don't use it unless necessary," Carla replied proudly.

"Why is it orange?" Richard asked, a bit unsure.

"I can change its color however I like. If I mastered it further, I wouldn't even need a portal," she said, and the portal's color instantly shifted—green, then blue, then red.

"It's just a way to show my personal style. Do you want to learn it too? It's an Arcane Art without strict requirents."

"Are you sure? If this belongs to the Order of the Crimson Veil, I can't just learn it freely," Richard replied.

"No, we don't have it. I obtained it personally."

"You obtained it? Where?" Richard was genuinely surprised.

From his perspective, a noble young lady like Carla shouldn't need to obtain anything—everything should co to her.

"I bought a strange item from an antique market. After studying it, I found that it contained this Arcane Art. I'll show it to you later—it's at my house because it can't be stored in a storage artifact. To gain this Arcane Art, you need to touch that item. My grandfather tried it and should have obtained it as well, but it seems he couldn't master it."

"Alright, show it to ."

Richard was intrigued by the mysterious object.

Its origin was likely extraordinary if it contained such an advanced Arcane Art.

As far as he knew, teleportation typically required artifacts or formations with heavy costs.

He himself had one—the Teleportation Disc—but he rarely used it, preferring his void abilities.

And even the Teleportation Disc had limitations—one disc had to already be placed at the destination.

There were better ones, but they were extrely rare.

Without artifacts or formations, he had never heard of true teleportation.

Even Ancient Sovereigns didn't truly teleport—they rely tore through space using imnse power and speed.

"Alright, let's et my grandfather first…" Carla nodded and led Richard into the portal.

He followed, quietly using his power to cleanse himself of Carla's scent—though he wasn't sure if it worked.

As he stepped through the portal, it felt like entering a grand hall.

It was as if he had only taken a single step, yet that step brought him to the peak of the massive crimson mountain.

They appeared beside a lake filled with milky-white water.

A young man with orange hair and a handso face stood by the lake.

The mont Richard saw him, his expression turned serious—he could feel just how powerful he was.

The Crimson Grand Ancestor.

The man imdiately turned his gaze toward him.

That gaze alone was sharp enough to make Richard's heart beat slower.

"Greetings, Grand Ancestor," Richard said calmly, his expression completely composed as if nothing was wrong.

"How old are you now, boy? Your true age—how long you've lived," the man responded with a question that left Richard montarily stunned.
