[Billion’s PoV]
I reached the capital after listening to another two hours of back-and-forth between the Bloodreavers and the Ronics. Both sides were ready to commit fully to the war, but I had seen the hesitation in Platius’s eyes.
Losing their ancestor had put the Ronics in a difficult position. Joining the Bloodreavers ant turning against the Del Reys... but it also ant placing themselves beneath Primus’s family afterward.
Primus did well convincing them that the Bloodreavers had no intention of turning their blades against the Ronics. But in the end, I knew the real factor would be overwhelming strength. Once they saw who truly stood above the rest, Platius would accept the future without hesitation.
The envoy’s tower rose into view, and I flashed inside, arriving directly in his main office.
Knight was sitting behind the envoy’s desk, legs crossed, casually flipping through a stack of scrolls like he owned the place.
"You know," Knight said without looking up, "this envoy is so useless he paid money to get this position. Didn’t want to serve on the frontlines."
I snorted. "Well, he does look lazy and useless. Where is he now?"
Knight closed the scroll and slid it into a drawer.
"He’s running around the nearby cities trying to locate Romothese. He even contacted his underworld friends for help." Knight shrugged. "But that’s not important. I finally have information on what Plan B is."
That made pause. "Oh? So what’s their backup plan?"
Knight shifted his posture, becoming more serious. "Lana is sending reinforcents from Dragos. The envoy requested ’official support,’ and she’s approving it. The reinforcent isn’t small, either. They’re sending the enforcent army, the division used to control demon worlds that step out of line. If the request is accepted, it could include mid-level transcendents."
I raised an eyebrow. "So basically backup for Gyros."
"Exactly," Knight said. "They wanted to avoid this route because many demons hate interference from Dragos in internal matters. It might damage Lana’s standing... but she doesn’t seem to care anymore."
I nodded slowly, processing it all. "And when are these reinforcents arriving?"
Knight smiled faintly. "Tomorrow morning."
I exhaled.
"All right. This looks manageable. Do we have a way to stop them from coming?"
"I think so," Knight said. "We destroy the teleportation gate that connects Armus to Dragos. It’ll only delay them, they can force a path eventually but it buys us ti."
I nodded. "That works. Where’s the portal?"
"Below the tower," Knight replied. "I can destroy it."
"No need yet," I said. "Do it right before dawn." My eyes moved around the room. "Anything useful in here?"
Knight shook his head. "Nothing useful to us."
I humd and crossed my arms.
"How are you planning to deal with the aftermath of this war with the Del Reys?" Knight asked.
"Why would I deal with it?" I tilted my head.
"There will be an investigation from Dragos. Gyros will report everything to Lana and anyone above him. They’ll start tracking Primus... maybe even Steve and North."
I nodded slowly. "Yeah, that will definitely happen. But we don’t need to avoid them. I want them to co."
Knight’s ears twitched. "You want trouble?"
"That’s the point," I said, smiling. "So far, I’ve made sure none of them have seen , you, or any of the summons. We need an identity of our own. So infamy. If we want to reach the level where we can affect the real ga against the Eternals, we need our own organisation."
Knight’s tail flicked behind him. "Sounds good. And what kind of organisation are you thinking?"
"A warlord of the void faction," I said. "A rcenary force but more than that. Sothing that will take over worlds, then galaxies, and finally the Pri Universe."
Knight blinked, then grinned. "My blood is already heating up. What are we calling this organisation?"
I cleared my throat. "Not yet. There’s a frontline rift between Dragos and Armus. Once we leave Armus, we’ll head there and deal with it permanently. That’s when we start spreading our na."
Knight scoffed. "Just say you haven’t thought of a na."
I ignored him.
"All right. I’m going back to Horus. I’ll et you here early tomorrow morning. Keep an eye on Gyros and tell if anything changes."
I didn’t wait for Knight’s reply. I vanished from the tower in a single step, heading straight back toward Horus.
The city was awake and tense. Orobas had gathered the elders, and ssengers were flying back and forth. Whispers of war drifted everywhere, demons murmuring about the Valley of Warriors, the coming battle, and the Del Reys.
I ignored the noise and went straight to North’s chamber.
I slipped inside quietly.
She was asleep on her bed, curled lightly under a thin sheet, her blades resting against the wall within arm’s reach.
I sat down on the edge of the bed, careful not to wake her, and let my eyes settle on her peaceful face for a mont. Then I pulled up my status and began checking.

I looked over the changes and felt quite satisfied. The progress I had made since ranking up was obvious. I was already closing in on level 350, and even my talent had advanced to Level 3.
Three new transcendent-rank skills sat neatly in my list, alongside a new Right I had unlocked. My domain, Veritas Dominus, felt heavier and sharper almost like it was waiting for the right mont to show its true strength.
And my stats...Every single one of them had crossed 6000.
