Duan Feibai strolled leisurely into the room, his gaze landing on Luo Xiu's face, revealing a faint smile. However, hidden behind that smile was a murderous intent.
Ever since he discovered Sun Li was living with Luo Xiu, he had wanted to tear the man to pieces. The only thing that comforted him was that Sun Li was still a virgin.
"Mister Luo, thank you for taking care of my girlfriend during this ti."
With the air of a gentleman, Duan Feibai walked to Sun Li's side and placed a hand on her shoulder, his tone seemingly polite.
Sun Li turned her head and glared at him, but she only made a symbolic struggle. Her eyes were filled mostly with helplessness.
Luo Xiu's face was expressionless. "When did you two beco a couple?"
Duan Feibai smiled. "Just yesterday."
Hearing this, Luo Xiu looked toward Sun Li with a questioning gaze.
Yet Sun Li didn't dare to et his eyes. Her gaze darted away as she suddenly pushed Duan Feibai. "That's enough. I'm going upstairs to pack. Don't cling to like a leech, just wait here!"
Duan Feibai watched her leave, a teasing smile on his face. "You still have such a fiery temper, little girl. We'll see how I deal with you tonight."
He then turned back to Luo Xiu, pausing for a mont with a puzzled look. "Mister Luo, what's wrong? I was just joking around with my girlfriend. Why do you look so uncomfortable?"
Luo Xiu completely ignored him.
The smile on Duan Feibai's face gradually vanished. In a heavy voice, he asked, "What exactly happened that night at Haina Reservoir?"
"Did you kill Cao Hong and his n? And where is Xiao Ye?"
Luo Xiu looked up at him and smiled faintly. "Young Master Duan, if you keep yapping, you might get slapped. Just so you know."
Duan Feibai chuckled, unconcerned. "Forget it. Cao Hong's master will be in Sea City soon enough. There will be plenty of people to deal with you then."
Luo Xiu paid him no mind, instead staring at him and saying, "It's none of my business who Xiao Li chooses to date. But if I find out you're bullying her, or that you used so thod to force her to be with you…"
"What could you possibly do to ?" Duan Feibai suddenly interrupted, a mocking smirk on his face.
"I will kill you," Luo Xiu said.
Hearing this, Duan Feibai laughed heartily. "I don't get it. I really don't. Since when is it an outsider's place to ddle in my relationship with my girlfriend?"
"Then just consider a nosy bastard," Luo Xiu replied, looking at Duan Feibai with a playful expression. "What can you do about it?"
Duan Feibai returned the playful look. "Do you think you're so great? Just because you can win a few fights and know a little about alchemy, you really think you're sobody?"
"Luo Xiu, I'm warning you… don't try to provoke ."
"Otherwise, I'll show you exactly what I can do to you."
SLAP!
Before he could finish, Luo Xiu's hand flashed out and struck him across the face.

The air fell silent.

Luo Xiu calmly replied, "You're a giant dumbass. You're not worthy of playing with ."
Duan Feibai laughed aningfully and turned to leave. "This is getting more and more interesting… There are more and more fools these days who overestimate themselves."

A short while later, Sun Li ca downstairs, dragging a pink suitcase. As she passed Luo Xiu, her body tensed for a mont, as if she wanted to stop and say sothing. But in the end, she said nothing, not even glancing his way as she walked past.
Luo Xiu stood at the entrance of the hall, watching the departing figures of Sun Li and Duan Feibai. He suddenly sighed.
Sigh, I'd better just go fishing. After all, this is none of my business.

Inside a luxury car speeding down the road, Sun Li, sitting in the passenger seat, glanced at Duan Feibai. "What did you say to him just now?" she asked coldly.
Duan Feibai just smiled and said nothing.
"I suggest you don't provoke him," Sun Li added.
Rembering the slap from Luo Xiu, a hint of viciousness flashed in Duan Feibai's eyes. He suddenly slamd a hand onto Sun Li's shoulder, his expression turning ferocious.
"You know, Xiao Li, the more you care about that man, the more I want to tornt you. I'll vent all my anger on you!"
Sun Li's eyes filled with disdain, and she let out a small laugh. "Heh, I suppose that's the only power you have."
Duan Feibai gave a shaless smirk and shifted in his seat. "I'm getting sleepy from driving. Why don't you give a few mouthfuls to wake up?"
"Scram!" Sun Li spat, her face filled with disgust.
Duan Feibai's expression darkened. "Xiao Li, rember your place. We made an agreent… no matter what I want to do to you, you won't refuse."
Sun Li took a deep breath. "But until my aunt gets ho safely, you won't touch a single hair on my head."
Duan Feibai pulled his hand back and smiled. "Fine. I'll wait for Su Shenyun to co ho. Then we'll see if I don't keep you in bed for half a month!"

In the blink of an eye, the city lights began to glow. After a full day of fishing, Luo Xiu had gotten skunked. Everyone else seed to be able to catch the seven or eight-pound topmouth culter that Li Jiuzhen had talked about, but not him.
He was packing up his gear to head ho when his phone suddenly rang. It was Sun Li.
"Xiu… can we et?"
A while later, Luo Xiu t Sun Li in a high-end bar. The music was deafening, so they didn't speak, communicating only with their eyes. Sun Li pulled him down to a seat and imdiately started drinking.
One glass of brandy after another went down, and Sun Li seed to transform into a different person, becoming wild and uninhibited. She dragged Luo Xiu onto the dance floor, joining the sea of hormone-fueled bodies swaying toward the female DJ on stage.
Luo Xiu was mortified. He knew martial arts, but not how to dance. It took a great deal of effort just to pull Sun Li from the crowd.
"Xiu… let's… let's get a room!" Sun Li suddenly threw her arms around Luo Xiu's waist, burying her face in his chest.
Afterward, under the strange stares of the people around them, Luo Xiu helped her out of the bar. A few guys walking by whistled, their eyes filled with envy.
Luo Xiu was suddenly reminded of himself. He had been just as drunk as Sun Li when he first ca down from the mountain. He supposed Lin Xiyue must have been the one who took him to a hotel back then.

In the hotel, it was as if an alarm had gone off in Sun Li's stomach. The mont Luo Xiu helped her into the room, she started vomiting violently, right into the collar of his shirt.
"SUN! DAMN! LI!"
"MOTHERF—!"
Luo Xiu's eyes bulged as he let out a grief-stricken roar. He was on the verge of throwing up himself. He hurriedly dumped Sun Li on the sofa and rushed into the bathroom, where he began cursing as he stripped off his T-shirt and scrubbed it furiously.
After throwing up, however, Sun Li seed to sober up a little. She sat on the sofa, clean and untouched by the ss, hugging her knees and staring into space.
After a long ti, Luo Xiu erged from the bathroom, shirtless and wringing out his freshly washed clothes.
"What in the world is wrong with you today?"
Sun Li didn't look at him. She kept her head down and called out softly, "Xiu."
"What is it?"
"I'm going to marry Duan Feibai soon."
Luo Xiu froze, his mouth opening and closing without a word.
"Take ," Sun Li said suddenly. "I don't want to be a prize for that scumbag."
Luo Xiu was stunned once again.
Sun Li looked up, her gaze fixed on him as she spoke earnestly. "I like you. I've always liked you. I don't believe for a second that you don't know."
Luo Xiu remained silent.
Sun Li gave a self-deprecating laugh, her eyes turning red. "I won't be a prize for that scumbag, and I refuse to live with regrets. I like you, and I want to be with you, even if it's just for tonight."
"Luo Xiu, if you're a man, then sleep with tonight!"
"Otherwise, when that scumbag is pinning down beneath him, I'll scream your na at the top of my lungs!"
