In an office on the top floor of the Hengyun Technology Building, a handso young man sat on a sofa, taking a very important phone call. It was a call from Chen Xuanbao, the Admiral of Henghai!
"I heard there was so trouble over in Yerite, Africa. What exactly happened?"
The handso youth rubbed his temples. "It was Luo Xiu. My double and Black Mandala have both fallen into his hands."
There was a brief silence on the other end of the line before Chen Xuanbao's deep voice ca through again. "Since we can't bring him to our side, kill him."
The handso young man's lips curled into a slight smile. "Rest assured, Archbishop, they won't be returning to Hua Country this ti."
Chen Xuanbao said flatly, "In any case, whether it's Luo Xiu or the Sus, none of them can be left alive."
"Your subordinate understands."
The handso youth was brimming with confidence. "They're as good as dead. I've already mobilized a base in Sakura Country to send two missiles their way. My double and Black Mandala are also on the plane, so they can accompany them to the grave."
Chen Xuanbao stated, "I will be leaving for the Capital City tomorrow. I'm entrusting the Religion's affairs to you."
Hearing this, the handso young man reached up to rub his temples again and asked quickly, "Why is the Archbishop suddenly going to the Capital City?"
Chen Xuanbao replied, "The one in the Capital City has summoned to report on my duties. She probably wants to use it as an excuse to detain there. And how could I dare disobey her orders?"
"Wouldn't it be too dangerous for you to go alone?"
"Don't worry, I have people in the Capital City. Besides, as long as my foundation here in Henghai remains, the worst they can do is place under house arrest, even if the Audit Bureau confirms my cris. With you here, I can rest easy."

At this mont, Luo Xiu was in free fall.
Just before the plane exploded and disintegrated, he had jumped out with Su Shenyun and Su Hongli. Enduring the pain that wracked his body inside and out, he cursed wildly in his mind while clamping the two won tightly under his arms. He controlled the Spiritual Energy flowing from his body to form a parachute-like shield around them.
He couldn't fly, but he could use his Spiritual Energy to glide through the air. This was the sa thod he had used to land safely when he jumped from the helicopter without a parachute on his way to the Yelte Cathedral.
After a short while, Luo Xiu and the two won plunged into the sea with a splash. When he surfaced, he saw plane wreckage floating all around them, so pieces still burning. The scene was a chaotic ss, yet it was also sowhat spectacular. He found a relatively large piece of debris and placed the two won, who had been knocked unconscious by the shockwave, onto it.
Su Shenyun seed to be in serious condition. Her clothes were soaked with blood, and her delicate body trembled uncontrollably. It appeared the shockwave from the explosion had torn open her existing wounds.
Su Hongli's condition, on the other hand, was relatively minor. She hadn't suffered much harm. A Grandmaster's physique is incredibly tough, so she was only knocked unconscious by the shockwave.
Luo Xiu climbed onto the wreckage, took a dical kit out of his Jade Pendant, and re-bandaged Su Shenyun's wounds. He then began to walk across the water's surface, dragging the large piece of wreckage toward a deserted island faintly visible through the thin mist in the distance.
After walking across the water for nearly an hour while dragging the wreckage behind him, Luo Xiu finally set foot on the deserted island. By then, he was utterly exhausted and on the verge of collapse, his entire body aching horribly. The mont he reached the island, he collapsed onto the sandy beach, panting heavily, and quickly lost consciousness.
「An unknown amount of ti passed.」
When Luo Xiu awoke, it was night. The moonlight was bright, and the sky was full of brilliant stars. The endless sea seed to be covered by a layer of soft, shimring silver gauze.
Su Hongli had built a crude shelter on the beach out of branches. Lying inside, Luo Xiu felt uncomfortable all over. anwhile, the two won were muttering to each other outside, and he couldn't hear what they were saying.
Luo Xiu struggled to his feet and staggered out of the shelter. He found them attempting to make fire by drilling a stick into a piece of wood. Su Hongli had clearly been trying for a long ti; she was drenched in sweat but had failed to produce a fla. It had probably rained earlier, making the wood damp, and she couldn't find any suitable tinder. Su Shenyun, watching from the side, seed even weaker than Luo Xiu and clearly didn't have the strength to help.
"Damn it! Son of a bitch!" Su Hongli suddenly cursed, jumping to her feet and kicking the wood away. The fire wouldn't start, but her temper certainly had.
Luo Xiu fought back a smile. "What's wrong?"
Su Hongli turned to look at him and sighed without a word, her expression as aggrieved as a little girl's.
Su Shenyun asked with concern, "How are you?"
Luo Xiu shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry, I'll live. But I'm starving and dying of thirst."
Hearing the word "thirsty," Su Shenyun subconsciously licked her chapped lips. "I wanted to start a fire to distill so fresh water, but we can't get one going."
Su Hongli plopped down onto the sand and lay back, covering her eyes with the back of her hand. "We survived a plane explosion, but are we going to die of thirst on this deserted island?"
Suddenly, Luo Xiu pulled two large bottles of mineral water from his Jade Pendant. He handed one to Su Shenyun, then walked over to Su Hongli, squatted down, and offered her the other.
"Has Auntie Su given up already?"
"I'm feeling really down," Su Hongli said, her voice catching in a sob. As she spoke, she froze. She shot up into a sitting position and stared at the water bottle in Luo Xiu's hand. "Where did you get that?"
Luo Xiu just shrugged. He swiped a hand across his neck and produced a whole pile of snacks from the Jade Pendant.
The two won stared at Luo Xiu with admiration, as if he were their savior. They looked like they wanted to rush over and smother him with kisses.
This guy actually has a Storage Magical Treasure!
Luo Xiu laughed. "Don't worry. I have enough food and water here to last us ten days, maybe even half a month. Luckily, I had the foresight to always pack so ergency supplies when I travel."
He then walked to the side, took a lighter from his Jade Pendant, and lit the bonfire.
Seeing the lighter, Su Hongli felt her lungs might explode with anger. She had been rubbing sticks for nearly two hours without success, and Luo Xiu had managed it in an instant.
"Indeed, the power of technology is the strongest!" she exclaid with a long, heartfelt sigh.
On this unknown deserted island, a small bonfire brought endless warmth. A man and two won sat before it, eating snacks and drinking mineral water. It was a cozy scene, despite their disheveled appearances.
Luo Xiu suddenly asked, "Are we the only three alive?"
Su Hongli sighed. "We were hit by two missiles. If a powerhouse like you hadn't been here, Shenyun and I would probably be… As for the others, I'm afraid they're gone."
Su Shenyun also sighed. "It's a pity we couldn't save the fake Envoy and Mandala."
Luo Xiu lay down on the beach and watched the starry sky. "Let's talk about it tomorrow."
Right now, he just wanted to lie here quietly and do nothing.
Su Shenyun slowly moved her injured body closer to him. She lay down, pulled his arm over to use as a pillow, and snuggled against him, wrapping an arm around his neck. They were as intimate as a couple of many years.
The sense of security she craved most was sothing only this man could give her.
Su Hongli suddenly stood up and rolled her eyes. "Uh, I'm going to go relieve myself. You two behave, alright? Don't start anything while I'm gone."
Luo Xiu asked, "Need so paper?"
"In this situation? Where would I find…"
Before she could finish, Luo Xiu tossed her a pack of tissues. She smiled and happily went on her way.
Luo Xiu gently wrapped his arm around Su Shenyun's shoulder. Looking up at the star-dusted sky, he asked, "Who did this?"
"Most likely the Holy Boi Religion," Su Shenyun replied.
"So where are we now?" Luo Xiu asked.
Su Shenyun slowly sat up, picked up a small twig, and began to write equations in the sand.
Luo Xiu didn't understand any of it. To him, the equations looked more profound than any runes.
"What are you doing?"
"I'm calculating our position," Su Shenyun said with a serious expression. "By using the total length of our flight path, the plane's speed, the total flight ti, and the ti we were in the air, I can figure out where we were shot down."
Luo Xiu's face darkened. "Hey, can you say that in a way I can actually understand?"
After calculating for another mont, Su Shenyun said, "We should be in an unnad archipelago in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Sakura Country. This area is rarely visited; so islands haven't even been discovered. If no one cos for us," she added after a pause, "we'll never be able to leave."
But Luo Xiu just smiled. "That might not be such a bad thing."
"It's a pity my earpiece is broken," Su Shenyun lanted. "Otherwise, I could contact the Audit Bureau."
Luo Xiu thought for a mont, then suddenly pulled an earpiece from his Jade Pendant and handed it to her. "You an this?"
Su Shenyun's eyes lit up. "Where did you get that?"
"Wu Xin gave it to . I've been holding onto it."
A smile blood on Su Shenyun's face. She leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "This makes things much easier."
"AHH! HELP!"
Just then, a scream from Su Hongli pierced the night.
Luo Xiu and Su Shenyun exchanged a look, then scrambled to their feet and ran toward the sound.
