"Brother-in-law, may I?" Lin Fei's face flushed red as she gazed up at Luo Xiu with large, watery eyes.
Luo Xiu, however, remained expressionless and unmoved, calmly looking down at Lin Fei, who knelt before him.
"Not yet. Go take a shower first."
"No… I want it now," Lin Fei pouted, swaying her body coquettishly.
Luo Xiu remained indifferent, rely watching her in silence.
Truth be told, when Lin Fei decided to be seductive, few ordinary n could have resisted her advances. But Luo Xiu was not a man to be so easily shaken. Besides, he was perfectly clear about his purpose for the evening.
"Be good. Go take a shower. I'll wait for you."
Lin Fei stood up, looking slightly hurt. "Brother-in-law, do you find repulsive?"
Luo Xiu gently shook his head.
"You do… Is it because of what I said to Xu Tao earlier? I was just angry, I didn't an any of it."
Luo Xiu smiled. "Be a good girl and go take a shower. If I really found you repulsive, I wouldn't have co here with you."
Hearing this, Lin Fei giggled and hooked her arm around his. "Then let's shower together."
Luo Xiu gently shook his head again. "I'll wait for you."
"Alright then. I'll be quick."
With that, Lin Fei stripped off her clothes right in front of Luo Xiu and walked into the bathroom, humming a little tune.
「In the room」
Luo Xiu sat in a chair and took eight silver needles from his needle case.
I wonder if this Soul-stimulating Needle will actually work. Can I get any useful information out of her? Oh well, I've co this far. I might as well give it a try. For now, I just need to put her at ease and make her drop all her psychological defenses.
About ten minutes later, Lin Fei erged from the bathroom and approached Luo Xiu with a radiant smile.
Luo Xiu looked up and was montarily stunned.

"Very. When did you change?"
"I had it in my purse. I brought it with just in case. Do you like it?"
This vixen really ca prepared, Luo Xiu sighed to himself. She certainly knows how to prey on a man's desires.
Luo Xiu stood and gently caressed her pale neck. "I like it."
Lin Fei slowly closed her eyes and rose onto her tiptoes, her breath fragrant as she whispered, "I knew you'd like it. I prepared it just for you."
Suddenly, Lin Fei felt a faint prick on her neck. Her mind grew hazy, and her consciousness rapidly began to blur.
Luo Xiu guided her to sit on the edge of the bed. He then swiftly inserted several more silver needles into various acupuncture points on her head and neck, followed by a sliver of Spiritual Energy.
After about two minutes, Lin Fei's eyes fluttered open groggily. Her expression was vacant, as if she were soulless, and she simply sat there in a daze.
A small smile touched Luo Xiu's lips. It seems this Soul-stimulating Needle really works.
He took out his phone, started a video recording, and pointed the cara at her. "Lin Fei, tell . The fire at the Lin Family Winery… was it your doing?"
「A long while later」
Luo Xiu walked out of the hotel alone.
I can't believe Lin Xiyue was right; it really was Lin Fei behind it all. Now that I have evidence, this matter is settled. That went more smoothly than I expected. It's getting late. I'll head back to sleep and find Lin Xiyue tomorrow.
He weighed the phone in his hand, a smile spreading across his face as he hailed a taxi.
「Three o'clock in the morning」
At Sea City International Airport, a strapping young man in camouflage fatigues stepped out, dragging a suitcase behind him. He stood at the curb, spread his arms, and tilted his head back, taking a long, deep breath.
"Ah… there's nothing like the air back ho."
"Sea City, I, Cao Hong, am back!"
This was none other than Young Master Cao himself—Cao Hong. He had gotten into a fight that resulted in several deaths. After his family cleaned up the ss, he had quietly left Sea City, enlisted in the military, and vanished for three years. Though he was gone, the legend of his exploits lingered in the city.
And today, the legend had returned.
Before long, a luxury comrcial vehicle pulled up in front of Cao Hong.
"Young Master, you're finally back!" The young driver scrambled out of the car, his eyes welling up with tears as he looked at the familiar yet completely transford Cao Hong.
Cao Hong lit a cigarette and exhaled a long plu of smoke. "Damn it, I've been pent up in the service for so long, I nearly went crazy!"
The young driver wiped his tears and took Cao Hong's suitcase, a knowing smile on his face. He had been with Cao Hong since they were children and knew exactly what his young master needed right now.
"Xiao Hu, take sowhere to blow off so steam."
"Of course, Young Master! I knew you were coming back, so I've already made all the arrangents."
Cao Hong slid into the vehicle. "So, what's happened in Sea City these past three years? And how's my fiancée doing?"
"Well… that's a long story," Xiao Hu said, a helpless look on his face at the ntion of Lin Xiyue. Telling him about her now would surely ruin his mood. "Young Master, let's save that for later. You just got back. Let's go have so fun first."
"Fine. But don't you dare find any ugly rejects or so old broad in her forties."
Xiao Hu burst out laughing. "Young Master, how could you say that? Don't I know your taste by now?" He then added, "By the way, Young Master, you were discharged much earlier than expected. Do the old master and madam know you're back?"
Cao Hong waved a dismissive hand. "For now, you're the only one who knows. I'll tell them when I get ho."
"Heh, sounds good. Speaking of which, it's been three years, and you've changed so much! You must be nearly two ters tall now, right?"
Cao Hong just smiled faintly.
"Your aura has changed, too," Xiao Hu continued. "Honestly, when I first saw you, I was actually a little scared. Young Master, what have you been through these past few years?"
At this, Cao Hong was lost in mory. Three years might not seem like a long ti, but for him, it had been an eternity. He had spent every single day surrounded by brutality.
"Xiao Hu, this ti, I'm back for good. I'm staying in Sea City." A dangerous glint entered his eyes. "The four districts, the Martial Association, and all those won—Lin Xiyue, Sun Li, Su Shanyue, Su Shenyun… I'm going to conquer them all!"
Xiao Hu's eyes trembled with excitent as he nodded vigorously. "I believe in you, Young Master!" He then added, "Speaking of Su Shenyun, it was such a sha. On your eighteenth birthday, you almost had her, but Boss Huang had to show up at the last second."
"Heh," Cao Hong smirked. "It's not too late for that."

After staying the night in a hotel, Cao Hong left early the next morning and returned to the Cao family estate. He briefly greeted his family before leaving again, driving straight for the Tongyun Building.
Earlier that morning, Xiao Hu had told him everything about Lin Xiyue. Now, he was seething with rage. His fiancée—*his*—had married so country bumpkin from the mountains!
He stord into the Tongyun Building, taking down the security guards with a few punches before finally being led to Lin Xiyue's office.
"Well, well, well, my dear wife. Your husband has missed you terribly!"
