After sweeping through the first layer, Luo Xiu led the cultivators into the second. Seeing him stroll into the second layer without any hindrance, all the cultivators were shocked. Even Luo Xian and Luo Qingxian were astonished.

He really didn't want to bother with Xing Rui and felt it was beneath him to waste words. If it weren't for the Prohibition of Arms restriction here, he would have gone straight over and slaughtered the man.
"Everyone, on this list, collect only three portions of each dicinal herb and rember to leave the roots," Luo Xiu said, throwing out a written list. He ordered the cultivators to collect herbs for him like an uncompromising contractor. "Go!"
Yang Ju and Xing Rui exchanged glances and then made their way towards the third layer.
"Xing Rui, let's go. These first few layers were explored long ago; it's difficult to find anything good now," Yang Ju said.
"Yes, Young Master."

Not long after Yang Ju and his servant departed, Luo Xiu led the two Fairies and the cultivators into the third layer. As Yang Ju had said, the initial few layers had been scoured by countless people, and it was now indeed difficult to find anything of value.
「The Third Layer」
Luo Xiu ran into the master and servant duo once more. Upon seeing Luo Xiu, Xing Rui gritted his teeth in anger.
"You lowly Mortal Realm wretch, have you no sha? Can you do nothing but tail others like a lapdog?"

At those words, Xing Rui smirked. "You're already at death's door and you still dare to be arrogant."
Just then, Yang Ju spoke up. "A piece of trash like you from the Mortal Realm couldn't possibly break through the barrier's restrictions in such a short ti."
Luo Xiu raised an eyebrow. "So what are you, a waste of a dog from the Celestial Realm, trying to say?"
Yang Ju stared at Luo Xiu, his gaze slightly cold. "It ans you know full well what happened. I suppose when I was breaking through the barrier restrictions earlier, the gap I left hadn't closed, and traces of the broken formation still lingered. You just followed my lead, taking advantage of the situation to easily enter the third layer."
Xing Rui laughed. "Exactly. You should know that when my Young Master first ca here, breaking through each layer's barrier took a considerable amount of ti. If you hadn't been tailing my Young Master and taking advantage of his work, how could a piece of trash like you have possibly broken through the barrier and entered the third layer so quickly?"
Hearing this, Luo Xiu shook his head and chuckled. This master and servant duo's analysis was so logical and well-founded that it left him montarily speechless.
After listening to them, the cultivators afflicted by the Ghost Wolf Curse all looked towards Luo Xiu with expressions of sudden realization.
"So that's how it is! No wonder he could swagger through the barrier before. I thought it was his own skill."
"Turns out he was just following Young Master Yang to pick up the leftovers!"
"Heh, and I thought he was sothing special. Seems he's not all that."
"Ah, what can we do? He's got that big dog backing him up. We've all been hit with the Ghost Wolf Curse, so we can't afford to offend him."

Yang Ju gently shook his folding fan. "Let it go, Xing Rui. Don't waste your breath on him. Let's go. There's nothing of value in these layers anyway. He's only fit to trail behind picking up trash, deluding himself into thinking he's stumbled upon so great fortune."
Luo Xiu watched the master and servant duo's retreating backs, the corners of his mouth lifting slightly.

After a good while, Luo Xiu led the cultivators into the fourth layer. But there wasn't much of value there either, so he proceeded into the fifth. Upon reaching the fifth layer, he once again encountered the master and servant duo.
Xing Rui laughed. "What, is the little tag-along here again? Unfortunately for you, my Young Master has only ever broken through to the fifth layer before. We'll need so ti to decipher the formation to enter the sixth layer, so you'll just have to wait a bit longer, little tag-along."
Luo Xiu, however, paid him no heed, ignoring him completely as he walked straight towards the faintly visible barrier wall ahead.
At that mont, Yang Ju stood beneath the barrier wall, concentrating on deciphering its array principles. Seeing Luo Xiu approach, he said sarcastically, "Sorry, but you'll have to wait for to break this barrier before you can follow behind and pick up the scraps. I must remind you, though, the higher we go, the more profound the array principles beco. By the ti I break through, you probably won't be able to comprehend the residual traces of the formation, even if I leave them for you."
With a light chuckle, Luo Xiu ignored him and turned back to look at the two Fairies and the cultivators. "What are you all standing around for? Let's move! There's nothing good in this fifth layer; I'll take you all to the sixth!"
He then stepped into the barrier, swaggering into the sixth layer without any hindrance whatsoever.
The air suddenly fell silent.
Both Yang Ju and Xing Rui stared, completely dumbfounded. The two Fairies and the other cultivators were just as stunned.
"He... he just walked right in?"
