"A simple 'I don't rember' can erase our entire past? Can it repay the thousand years you owe ?" Wei Qingkuang's gaze was firm as she t his. She suddenly threw her arms around his waist, domineeringly pulling herself into his embrace.
Luo Xiu's body stiffened, his hands frozen in the air, unsure of what to do.

"I don't care. Since you're back, don't even think about escaping my grasp again!" Wei Qingkuang tilted her head up, her eyes brimming with love as she stared into his. "Kiss ."
Luo Xiu lowered his head slightly, his eyes fixed on her vibrant red lips. "Aren't you... his Empress now?"
"That was just a political marriage to protect the living beings of Tri-Rainbow. I have never truly belonged to him."
After a long kiss, the air seed to grow sultry, and soon, their clothes began to slip away. An unknown amount of ti passed.
Amidst the clothes scattered across the floor, Luo Xiu propped himself up and began to rummage through the layers of a woman's garnts to find his own. He looked at the fresh red scratches covering his arms and sighed softly. Sotis, getting swept up in the heat of the mont really can make you forget everything but the present.

"The burdens on my shoulders are too heavy," Luo Xiu replied.
Wei Qingkuang fell silent, then suddenly let out a self-deprecating laugh. "Yes, they are too heavy."
A mont later, she transford back into the cold, noble, and peerlessly elegant Heavenly Azure Empress. Every movent exuded unparalleled dignity and authority. Dressed in a luxurious golden-thread phoenix dress, with the Purple Gold Phoenix Crown on her head, her majestic and cool temperant made her seem ethereal, not of the mortal realm. Yet her once-clear eyes were now clouded with the haze of love, like spring sprouts after a long drought, finally nourished by refreshing rains.
Luo Xiu watched her quietly as she combed her hair and retouched her makeup, becoming completely enchanted. He suddenly understood why his past self had fallen so utterly for her.
"Humph!" Hua Muyan's displeased snort suddenly echoed in his mind. "You n are all such visual creatures."
Luo Xiu rubbed his nose, averted his gaze, and asked Wei Qingkuang, "So, what's the play when we go out later?"
Wei Qingkuang seed slightly taken aback before looking at him with a deadpan expression. "I am the Heavenly Azure Empress. How could I possibly be defeated by you?"
Luo Xiu looked at her and felt an urge to laugh, recalling her behavior just monts before. What an astounding contrast, he mused. She acts like a complete stranger once her clothes are back on. Of course, Luo Xiu knew Wei Qingkuang was rely putting on an act. As the Heavenly Azure Empress, she had to maintain her public image.

High above Purple Rainbow City, space began to distort, and a dreadful scream tore through the air.
Luo Xiu was sent flying backward out of the distorted void, spitting blood as he crashed heavily to the ground. Upon seeing this, smiles appeared on the faces of the crowd. Zhu Yu, in particular, looked incredibly proud.
Only Luo Qingxian had a worried expression, her face a mask of surprise. She knew this "Lin Luo" was the peerless genius Ao Debiao, renowned in both the celestial and mortal realms, and that he had single-handedly overturned the entirety of Sky Divine City. With such power, how could he possibly lose to Wei Qingkuang? Even though Wei Qingkuang was a peerless talent herself, the likes of whom appeared only once in ten thousand years, and possessed the cultivation of a White Emperor, Luo Qingxian didn't believe Ao Debiao would be defeated by her.
As Luo Qingxian was lost in thought, Wei Qingkuang erged from the distorted space. Her figure flashed as she moved to deliver the final blow to Luo Xiu.
From a distance, Master Ping and Lao Ba were about to intervene, but Luo Qingxian suddenly dashed forward, positioning herself in front of Luo Xiu.
Zhu Yu and the others watched, completely bewildered. "Xian'er, what are you doing?"
Wei Qingkuang gazed at Luo Qingxian with a cool, detached expression, feeling a flicker of surprise in her heart. In the small world just now, Luo Xiu had told her to make the act convincing, assuring her that Master Ping and Lao Ba would step in at the critical mont. She hadn't expected Luo Qingxian to be the first to act.
Luo Qingxian looked directly at Wei Qingkuang and said, "Your Majesty, this man is an old acquaintance of mine. This is all a misunderstanding. Continuing this will only harm the innocent. I suggest we let the matter drop."
Hearing this, Zhu Yu, the three Great Saint Masters, and all the Elders imdiately flew over.

Luo Qingxian's gaze turned cold as she firmly overruled them. "This matter ends here and now!"

Then, Luo Qingxian reached down to help Luo Xiu up from the ground. "Are you alright?"
Luo Xiu shook his head slightly. "Thank you, Fairy." To this mont, he still couldn't understand why the Water Fairy would help him.
Shortly after the crowd dispersed, Luo Xiu returned to the Shenluo Tavern.
Back in his guest room, Master Ping stared at the pale Luo Xiu with a strange expression. "This doesn't add up. That woman is strong, sure, but not strong enough to injure you this badly. Or did you go soft on her, boy? Because she's a beauty with good looks and a great body, you couldn't bring yourself to be ruthless?"
Luo Xiu, at a loss for how to reply, simply lay down and feigned injury.
Master Ping stroked his chin thoughtfully. "But speaking of strange, why would that Luo Qingxian be so protective of you?"
Luo Xiu shook his head lightly. "I can't figure it out either. I recognized her, but there's no way she could have recognized . Besides, saving a stranger isn't her style."
Lao Ba chuckled. "If you ask , Crown Prince, it's because you're too handso. The Fairy has taken a liking to you and is secretly smitten."
Luo Xiu nodded with great solemnity. "For now, that seems to be the only plausible explanation."
"Pah!" Master Ping nearly spat. "Have you no sha at all?"
"Co on, Lao Ba, let's go for a walk. We'll leave him be."

"This morning, you were watching from this very window."
Luo Xiu opened his eyes to see Wei Qingkuang entering through the window. "The fact that you knew I was watching you ans you were watching , too."
"What were you thinking about back then?" Wei Qingkuang asked.
Luo Xiu countered, "And you?"
"You first."
"Then let's not talk about it."
Wei Qingkuang ran over cheerfully and threw herself into his arms, knocking him down onto the bed. "Hmm... will you take to see the fireworks? You promised you would."
