Seeing Luo Xiu slowly walking over, Dou Dou suddenly sprang forward, leaping straight from Lao Ba's back toward him. Luo Xiu extended his hands, steadily catching her petite fra.
"Chen Shuisheng, Chen Shuisheng, hurry up and let Dou Dou play with your wings!"
Dou Dou agilely climbed onto Luo Xiu's neck, her small hands tugging at the back of his collar. She even burrowed her little head inside to search for his wings.
"Play with what? This isn't a toy! Get down now!"
Luo Xiu swept a hand back and pulled her down, only to freeze when he spotted Lao Ba and Black Fatty standing nearby.
"Damn, where did you two find pet clothes? They fit pretty well."
Lao Ba, with his wings set akimbo, looked indignant. "What pet clothes? Crown Prince, have you no manners? Sister Dou said these are designer clothes. Adidas!"
"How about it? Don't I look much more spirited now?"
Dou Dou tilted her little face up at Luo Xiu and said earnestly, "These aren't pet clothes. We went to the Shanhai Territory to play yesterday, and Dou Dou asked the Silkworm Mother to tailor-make them for Lao Ba and Black Fatty. Dou Dou won't have you spouting nonsense."
Luo Xiu gave a bored thumbs-up. "Quite the spirited duo. Not bad."
Just then, Lao Ba tugged at his collar with his beak, revealing the "tattoo" on his chest with a smug look. "Check it out, Crown Prince. I, Lao Ba, am a worldly bird now. Cool tattoo, huh?"
Luo Xiu took a closer look and almost snorted with laughter.
With a design that looked neither like a chicken nor a duck, Luo Xiu seriously doubted it was even inked by a carbon-based life form.
He pursed his lips and retorted, "A random doodle from Dou Dou with a colored pen would look better than whatever that is on you two."
"I'm genuinely curious what kind of ntal state that joker was in when they improvised this masterpiece on you two."
Hearing this, Dou Dou stomped her foot and roared with adorable ferocity, "That was ! I drew it!"
Luo Xiu blinked, then raised a hand to touch his nose, pretending he hadn't said a thing.
The air suddenly fell silent.
Nearby, i Ji couldn't help but cover her mouth to stifle a giggle. Even the usually aloof An Ran showed a faint smile.
Into the silence, Dou Dou suddenly pounced, hamring Luo Xiu with her tiny fists. "Apologize!"
Startled, Luo Xiu turned and fled.
"Dou Dou says you can't run! Apologize, quick! Or Dou Dou won't ever forgive you!"
After the playful ruckus, Luo Xiu went to the Lotus Pond for a soak.
Once he had bathed, Luo Xiu and his group left the Land of Lawlessness and continued their journey deeper into the Boundless Heavens. This ti, however, he was truly "dragging the whole family along."
Aside from An Ran, who preferred peace and quiet, Lin Shanshan, Snow Kirin, Dou Dou, Lao Ba, and Black Fatty all tagged along.
High in the sky, Luo Xiu lay leisurely on Lao Ba's broad back. He watched Dou Dou, who was jumping up and down on Black Fatty's back nearby, feeling sowhat speechless. He genuinely had no idea if the little girl was engaged in so kind of performance art, considering all the things she had hanging off her just to go out. Anyone who didn't know better would think she was a traveling rchant.
She had a bronze pot on her back, with a Bronze Hoe and a Big Black Umbrella stuck diagonally across it. Viewed from directly behind, only her short limbs and head were visible, making her resemble a small turtle walking on its hind legs.
A worn-out sword hanging from her left hip was one thing, but on her right hip, she had a small chainsaw!

Lin Shanshan nodded vigorously in agreent.

As the group chatted and laughed, a massive explosion suddenly echoed from the distance, accompanied by a flash of Spirit Light and a plu of dust rising to the sky.
Dou Dou whipped her head in that direction, her gaze instantly turning sharp.
"Soone's causing trouble over there! Let's go watch the show!"
Luo Xiu, however, had no interest. In a place like the Boundless Heavens, it would be strange if there wasn't soone causing trouble at all hours.
"It's none of our business. There's no need to get involved. We need to keep moving."
"Oh, co on, let's go, let's go! Dou Dou loves watching a good spectacle." Dou Dou jumped onto Lao Ba's back and hugged Luo Xiu's arm, pleading coyly.
Just then, Master Ping spoke up from the side. "Kid, your Divine Sense is so powerful. Can't you just scan the area when you've got nothing better to do?"
Luo Xiu frowned slightly. "What do you an?"
Master Ping said, "I bet you'll go check it out."
Seeing the serious look on Master Ping's face, Luo Xiu imdiately released his Divine Sense.
The next mont, his eyes widened in shock, and he slapped Lao Ba's back.
"Lao Ba, hurry! Let's go!"
A thunderous boom echoed.
Su Shanyue was struck by a Taoist Art from a Profound Emperor. Like a kite with a severed string, she was sent flying backward, vomiting blood.
Eight disciples of the Swordfire Divine Sect sward forward, the Tao Swords in their hands blazing with scorching fire.
"Use the Swordfire Heaven-Burning Formation!"
Su Shanyue hurriedly stabilized herself in mid-air and brought the Jade Flute to her lips. The lodious notes fused with her Void Zen Sound, coalescing in the air into phantoms of gigantic beasts.

The Profound Emperor's eyes shook at the sight. "Everyone, be careful! Seal your hearing, now!"
Having likely witnessed the terror of the Void Zen Sound before, the Profound Emperor didn't hesitate. He imdiately covered his body with thick Spiritual Power, sealed his hearing, and transford into an afterimage, lunging forward with his sword drawn.
Faced with the unstoppable charge, Su Shanyue's beautiful eyes trembled. Feeling utterly helpless, she could only use her Jade Flute to defend herself. If she were facing him alone, she, also a Profound Emperor, would not fear him. However, she had been injured by Wen Zhisheng beforehand. As a result, when facing this Profound Emperor from the Swordfire Divine Sect, her spirit was willing, but her strength fell short.

Another deafening explosion.

A mont later, the Profound Emperor landed slowly, holding the captive Su Shanyue.
A Divine Sect Disciple flew over and glared fiercely at her. "Third Ancestor, this woman cost us so many of our brothers. Is this letting her off too easy?"
The Profound Emperor furrowed his brow in thought, then tossed Su Shanyue to the disciple. "Watch yourself. Just don't kill her."
The Divine Sect Disciple's eyes roved over Su Shanyue's voluptuous figure, lingering on the patches of exposed, snow-white skin. A lascivious smile spread across his face.
He reached out and caressed her exquisite face. "Don't worry, Third Ancestor. She's a Profound Emperor, after all. How could she be killed so easily?"
"Heh heh, who would have thought that in my lifeti, I'd get to taste what a Profound Emperor is like."
