Late at night, on the outskirts of Sea City, all the elite masters of the two districts had gathered in a secluded and quiet farmstead. Xiang Laoer and Tao Laosi had convened them, creating a bustling scene.
"Big Brother, what's so urgent that you had to call us all back to Sea City? What happened?" a powerfully built middle-aged man asked, looking puzzled at Xiang Laoer, who was seated in the place of honor. This man was Yao Long, known on the streets as the "Demon Dragon." He had reached the Mid-Stage Qi-Embracing Realm and was one of Xiang Laoer's most trusted aides.
Not far away, a sensual young woman in flamboyant attire sat with her legs crossed, shooting a sultry glance at Tao Laosi. "If you have sothing to say, spit it out. I need to get back to training my little boy toys."
This woman was Hu Li, known on the streets as the "Fox Spirit," and she was Tao Laosi's most capable lieutenant. Hu Li might look delicate and harmless, like a beautiful woman who simply loved to dress up, but she was actually more terrifying than Yao Long. However, most weren't there for the video but were taking the opportunity to steal glances down Hu Li's neckline. Their gazes, and their thoughts, lingered in the deep ravine of her cleavage.
Gradually, however, the video on the tablet captured everyone's attention.
It showed Luo Xiu's fight inside Cao Hong's villa.
The room grew increasingly quiet. It was only then that everyone understood why the two Dragon Head bosses were so grim and had recalled all their top fighters. This ti, they had truly run into a tough nut to crack.
Breaking the silence, Yao Long asked, "Who is this guy? He has to be in the Qi-Embracing Realm at least, right?"
"Heh, a little interesting," Hu Li said with a faint smile, setting the tablet down. "He must have trained in so high-level movent technique. Otherwise, there's no way he could be that fast."
A buzz of discussion filled the room as everyone voiced their opinions. After a while, Xiang Laoer raised a hand, signaling for quiet. "His na is Luo Xiu. His background is simple enough—he's just so wild kid who popped out of the mountains and married Miss Lin."
Tao Laosi added, "To have such strength at his age… honestly, we have no desire to provoke soone like him. If Cao Ende hadn't offered a price our two districts couldn't refuse, we never would have gotten involved."
Xiang Laoer sighed softly. "It's too late for that now. This is no longer about taking money for a job. This is about the reputation of our two districts! Our Southwest districts have always been united as one! We've called you back to settle this matter once and for all!"
Yao Long asked, "So, what's your plan for dealing with this Luo Xiu?" He broke into a sudden grin. "Why don't we keep it simple? I'll just go and eliminate him."
"Be patient," Tao Laosi said, waving a hand. "Elder Xiang and I have already discussed this. A talent like Luo Xiu should be recruited to work for us! But if he doesn't know what's good for him... then we'll have no choice but to eliminate him!"
Just then, a whirring sound from the farmstead's main gate shattered the heavy atmosphere. Everyone turned to see a small electric scooter slowly drive in and stop. Riding it was a young man in a t-shirt, knee-length shorts, and a pair of flip-flops, looking utterly carefree.
"Who are you?!" a master from the South District shouted, stepping forward to confront him.
The young man, however, calmly parked his scooter, pulled a phone from his pocket, and made a call, completely ignoring the master.
When the call connected, he said, "Wu Xin, looks like your tip was right. I really found them."
After hanging up, the South District master who had been approaching him was sent flying backward, as if struck by an unseen force. He crashed heavily to the ground, coughing up blood, unable to rise again.
Then, under the sharp glares of the crowd, the young man strolled leisurely into the hall, his gaze landing on Xiang Laoer and Tao Laosi. He had seen photos of the two Dragon Head bosses before coming, so he was certain these were the n he was looking for.
"My na is Luo Xiu," the young man announced into the silence.
Upon hearing this, everyone was visibly shaken. They grew vigilant, their faces filled with disbelief.
Tao Laosi's eyes narrowed as he stared intently at Luo Xiu. "Kid, we were just about to co looking for you, and here you are, delivering yourself to our doorstep."
Luo Xiu smiled. "What a coincidence. This saves us all so trouble."
Xiang Laoer suddenly stood up and cut to the chase. "Luo Xiu, I can forgive you for crippling my sworn son… on one condition: you co and work for ."
At this, Luo Xiu raised an eyebrow and looked at Xiang Laoer with a grin. "Old man, you're the one not playing by the rules here. Your so-called sworn son kidnapped my wife. I haven't even started settling scores with you, and you're already trying to bite back first."
Xiang Laoer just scoffed. In Sea City, they were always the ones doing the bullying; no one ever dared to reason with them.
"Forget it." Luo Xiu waved a hand, unwilling to argue the point. "I ca looking for you two tonight for two things."
Tao Laosi asked, "What do you want? If it's sothing I can give, I'll give it to you. Consider it a token of friendship."
Luo Xiu smiled. "Before I ca, I heard that the two rare dicines, 'Three Gold Silkworm Jade Dew' and 'Tear-condensed Red Flower,' are in your possession. So, I plan to rob you."
"Rob us?"
Hearing this, several people in the hall burst out laughing.
Yao Long shot Luo Xiu a mocking look. "Kid, I just watched your video. I admit, you've got so skills, but I suggest you face reality and don't get ahead of yourself." His gaze hardened as he spoke in a cold voice, "What do you think this place is? You want to rob the two bosses?"
"I've seen arrogant n, but never one as mindlessly arrogant as you."
Luo Xiu turned to Yao Long. "Are you done talking?"
Yao Long puffed out his chest. "Kid, I'll give you two choices: die, or submit!"
BOOM!
The next mont, a trendous bang echoed through the hall.
Yao Long's powerful body trembled once, then he froze on the spot like a statue, utterly motionless.
A transparent, gaping hole had appeared in his chest, blasted through him in an instant by an invisible force.
His eyes were wide as he stared blankly at Luo Xiu, a look of disbelief and indignation filling them. His body slowly tilted back and fell.
The room fell silent.
It wasn't until Yao Long's body hit the ground, lifeless, that everyone snapped back to their senses. Their eyes filled with terror, and they instinctively stumbled back.
What just happened? In the blink of an eye, there was a loud bang, and without Luo Xiu even moving, Yao Long was dead? An instant kill? What kind of monster is this?
For a mont, they were all baffled and terrified.
Luo Xiu stood his ground, not even bothering to glance at Yao Long's body. He faced Tao Laosi and Xiang Laoer with a faint smile. "Aren't you just a bunch of thugs who've grown a little too big for their boots? A pack of societal cancers who actually started to think you're sothing special?"
He walked unhurriedly toward the two bosses. "You have two choices. One, you hand the items over to right now."
"Or two, I beat you until you submit, and then you can beg to take them."
