Stefan’s POV:
The love, pain, need, everything was there in her eyes. She should have looked at like this sooner. But it’s okay, at least I got to see it before dying.
“I love you, Giselle” was the last thing I said before I took action on my plan.
I took my car towards the service road. I kept my hands in front of Giselle’s upper body and pushed my leg on the urgent break with all the force I could muster, to avoid her bumping in front.
The mont my car stopped, I saw those two trucks coming from my left side and that one truck coming from my right.
“Get out of the car!” I commanded and Giselle did as I asked.
She got out of the car. We were standing at the deadly center and three trucks were about to crush us.
I knew I was an Alpha and I could stop them with my bare hands, but I could only stop one truck at a ti. They were all coming towards us with the speed of light. I did not have much ti to stop all of them.
Hence, I decided to save the most precious person of my life by being the bate.
I turned towards Giselle, held her waist and crashed my lips on her. I kissed her roughly for a fraction of seconds, before pushing her towards the forest. My heart broke when I saw her tears.
“RUN! GISELLE! LEAVE!” I shouted from the top of my lungs.
Soone needs to be there to stop them until Giselle runs from there and reaches a safe place. That soone is going to be !
She nearly fell but balanced herself while holding a giant tree.
“STEFAN!” She cried out my na loudly.
“LEAVE GISELLE! I WILL DISTRACT THEM!” I shouted, nearly pleading to her.
The three trucks almost reached , they were about to crush . I spread my arms to stop them as much as I could until my Giselle ran away.
Rather than close my eyes, I looked in the eye of death and smiled.
“STEFAN! NO!!” I heard Giselle’s loud cry from behind.
Why is this stupid girl not gone yet? How can I make her understand that I want her to survive? That I am in love with her like a mad man!
Before I could say another word, one of the truck’s bumpers touched my hand. Like a reflex action, I turned towards it completely. It was the first truck that was tailing us.
I stopped the truck on the spot with my bare hands, using only my body strength.
I used all my body strength and began to push the truck behind.
I could see the terrified expression of the driver inside. He was scared to his wits when he was trying to move his truck towards , to run it over , but I pushed it behind by just using my strength and no external help.
I didn’t care about anything at the mont. All I wanted to do was to turn around and see if Giselle had left. I just wanted to confirm that she was safe and I was able to protect her just like I promised.
I was trying to stabilize myself so that I could turn around sooner. I really hope she is going to save her own life and not standing there, waiting for like a crazy woman in romance novels!
Deep inside, a small part of wanted her to feel the sa as I feel for her and stay, but except for their part, each cell in my entire body wanted her to escape this deathly place and protect herself instead.
I didn’t realize when I fell for her so hard? Right now, all I care about is her. I never thought I would love soone more than my own life! This is crazy! And like a crazy man, I wanted to laugh at such a deadly situation.
I was dragged out of my train of thoughts when I heard the driver of the truck cursing,
“Holy sh*t!”
I looked up and observed the change in him. His face turned pale and he looked horrified, as if he had seen a ghost.
I didn’t know stopping a truck was such a big deal.
But I was confused by one thing. How am I still alive and well? Why didn’t those two trucks bump into from behind? They were about to crush when I stopped this one.
I used my entire body strength to push the truck as well as I turned around at the sa ti to look behind.
I was beyond happy to see two n of the sa physique as were stopping and pushing the rest of the trucks just like .
My brothers... just like always... they ca to protect ..!
“Brothers! You ca on ti!” I couldn’t help but shout, followed by a deep sigh of relief.
“Missed us, little Stef?”
