Holding up the obsidian jagged blade as he read its description, Arc was montarily stunned by what he could see. He had never truly understood the power behind a top-tier weapon, and unlike Gaea’s Judgnt, which remained largely censored and locked behind insurmountable requirents, Cerberus’ Cursed Fang laid its secrets bare with a long list of abilities and skills, starting with imnse buffs.

[Cerberus’ Cursed Fang: 120 Strength, 95 Agility, 60 Wisdom, 25% Attack Speed, 15% Lifesteal (Physical Damage)]

Arc could feel the power of the additional attributes coursing through his veins, bringing his Total Attribute Points (TPA) from 108 to a staggering 383—putting him within striking distance of the 400-point bottleneck for Starlight-tier gear.

[ATTRIBUTES] 108 ( 275)

Strength: 26 ( 120)

Agility: 22 ( 95)

Dexterity: 13

Constitution: 30

Wisdom: 17 ( 60)

Judging by the Crimson Goblin King Shaman’s Epic-tier staff, Arc could deduce it was well over 200 in TPA, even without seeing its level, but he was certain it was below 300, giving him the upper hand.

"I SEE... I SEE IT NOW. THAT WEAPON IN YOUR HANDS... IS THAT WHAT GAVE YOU THE WILL TO DEFY THE LORD?" the deranged Goblin Shaman spoke, pointing a twisted finger at Cerberus’ Cursed Fang in Arc’s grip.

"I must admit, you’re smart for a lowly race. But that doesn’t change the fact that you’re rely a stepping stone designed for the strong to ascend," Arc stated, his voice devoid of heat as he leveled the obsidian blade at the Shaman’s throat. "And I am through waiting."

The Crimson Goblin King Shaman let out a high-pitched shriek as it began twisting itself at unnatural angles, mumbling incoherent words to itself once more. Then it suddenly stopped, unmoving in a position where its body bent backward, the top of its head only a few inches from touching the ground, its hands covering parts of its face as its eyes glowed eerily through its bony fingers.

"What makes you think you can insult and go scot-free?" it whispered into Arc’s hearing, just as several phantom hands began materializing all around it and creeping toward him.

At the sa ti, the Crimson Goblin warriors on standby began stalking closer to him with twisted grins, as though waiting for a signal before they attacked.

Arc montarily shut his eyes, and when he opened them, the air around him grew distorted, and a whirlwind began to form.

The phantom hands suddenly blurred as they snaked all over him, locking onto his arms and legs as they lunged—when the earth beneath Arc’s feet shattered, and his form glitched. Multiple blade arcs followed, montarily blinding the Crimson Goblins and severing every last one of the phantom hands.

Before the Crimson Goblins could recover, Arc blurred from the spot once more, leaving a streak of afterimages as he disappeared into their ranks. Cerberus’ Cursed Fang moved faster than they could blink, decapitating every last one of them within a ter radius before he reappeared right behind the Crimson Goblin King Shaman, whose eyeballs tracked his every move.

"Huh..." it mumbled in confusion as it stared at Arc in its inverted vision, now looming over it.

Arc’s daggers flashed once more, but the Crimson Goblin King Shaman pulled itself away in ti—or so it thought—using its phantom hands and retreated to a safe distance.

The Crimson Goblin warriors exploded into a mix of blood and gore, painting the battlefield a sickening red.

[You have killed Lv6 Crimson Goblin Warrior]

[You have killed Lv8 Crimson Goblin Warrior]

[You have killed Lv9 Crimson Goblin Archer]

[You have killed Lv5 Crimson Goblin Warrior]

...

[You have leveled up! | Lv15]

[You have leveled up! | Lv16]

[You have leveled up! | Lv17]

"Y—You can see my Unseen Hands?" the Crimson Goblin King Shaman blurted in astonishnt, riding atop the cupped palms of the phantom hands.

’Was it supposed to be invisible?’ Arc mused.

It slowly turned its head to take in the devastating sight, then wheezed as it burst into maniacal laughter. Just as it did, another wave of Crimson Goblins began pouring out from the island.

"D—Do you think this is enough to stop —" the Crimson Goblin King Shaman began amidst laughter, when Arc’s lips parted and a single word left his mouth.

"Die."

"What—?"

[Skill Trigger]: Threefold Hunger!

[Hellmark Applied! Stack 1: Bleed (2% max HP/sec for 5s)]

[Hellmark Applied! Stack 2: Fear (minor—reduces target defense by 15%)]

[Hellmark Applied! Stack 3: Judgnt Triggered >>> Shadow Bite!]

The Crimson Goblin King Shaman barely had ti to react to the notification prompts flashing overhead when an ethereal shadow of a massive beast’s maw materialized, swallowed it whole, and spat it back out before vanishing.

The Crimson Goblin King Shaman dropped to the floor as its health hit rock bottom, barely able to lift its head as it stared at the approaching demon in terror.

"H—How?" the Crimson Goblin King Shaman stuttered as it looked up at Arc’s looming figure.
