She turned toward Karim and asked casually: "Have you told us everything you know?"
Karim nodded in affirmation without speaking.
Eula turned toward Greta. "That’ll be all."
Greta then turned over to Karim and raised her hand as another magic circle appeared over her palm.
There was a flash of brilliant light that emanated from it for just a split second.
And afterwards, Karim’s legs gave out imdiately as she collapsed onto the floor unconscious.
Greta had just used mory Flash, a Tier 5 spell that wiped the mories of anyone who stared directly into its light except for the caster themselves.
Even Eula had turned her head away at the last second to avoid it.
If soone was forced to stare at that spell for longer than normal duration, it had enough potency to wipe out their entire lifeti of mories completely.
In Karim’s case though? She definitely wasn’t going to rember anything that happened for at least the last twelve hours or so.

Later that night, Eula and Greta had returned to the Lucky Hand Casino and were currently standing before Lucien, who sat on his usual couch reading through the sa copy of the docunt they had taken from Karim’s apartnt.
At different corners of the room were other mbers of the League of Assassins. So sat over at the bar area nursing drinks as they listened quietly.
Others sat on chairs or perched on armrests or leaned casually against walls.
It was an official eting of the League.
Eula continued with her explanation:
"I got that from Ophelia’s personal assistant. She keeps records of every one of Ophelia’s dealings... although it’s mostly only clean stuff that’s already public knowledge anyway."
She paused before adding: "Ophelia doesn’t share private or special dealings with her assistant."
Lucien didn’t look up from reading as he asked, "So you have established a connection between Ethan Stark and the woman who issued the bounty?"
"Yes," Eula confird with a grin creeping back onto her face. "But there’s more, Luci."
She leaned forward slightly as if sharing juicy gossip: "The assistant revealed that on the sa day this deal was signed, she had been called by Ophelia to her residence to be assigned a specific task."
Lucien finally looked up at that point. "What task?"
Eula continued, "The task assigned to her was to print bounty posters and take them to every major dia house in Grayfort City."
She paused for dramatic effect before continuing: "But here’s the good part...Ophelia also ntioned to her assistant that she would be going to et with Ethan Stark that very sa evening."
"And furthermore..." Eula raised one finger playfully like she was making an important point: "...Ophelia instructed this sa assistant to wait until she personally called to confirm that the bounty request should be published."
"Hm..." Lucien muttered thoughtfully as he set down the docunt onto the table.
"According to her assistant," Eula continued "She waited until evening until she got that confirmation call from Ophelia telling her to publish it imdiately."
Then Eula pointed directly at the docunt again. "The date on this signed agreent is exactly the sa day Ophelia t with Ethan Stark according to what her assistant told us under hypnosis...
And that sa evening? The bounty was published and announced publicly targeting Joe."
"This couldn’t have been re coincidence," she said, ticking off points on her fingers like she was unraveling so grand mystery. "I say it went like this... Joe sohow misses his shot on Ethan Stark... Ethan gets pissed about nearly dying... talks things over with Ophelia Tudor... and in exchange for issuing this massive bounty using state authority..."
She tapped another finger.
"Ophelia enters into so kind of business deal with him, using either his money or her own to fund the whole thing."
She clapped her hands together once, a triumphant grin.
"Pretty much adds up if you ask !"
From across the room where he had been sitting quietly at the bar counter, Casper suddenly clapped his hands together delightfully and called out with genuine enthusiasm:
"Wooowwww Eula! You should totally be a detective for the Enforcers!"
Eula turned toward him, puffing out her chest with exaggerated pride. "I’d make a great one, right?"
"Hundred percent!" Casper said while raising both thumbs up.
The other mbers of the League remained silent as they waited patiently for Lucien’s response.
Casper turned toward their leader with a smile, "So what do you say boss?"
Lucien was silent for another mont as he stared down at the docunt. He finally said, "It is indeed no re coincidence."
Then he stood slowly from his seat and spoke clearly so everyone present could hear him:
"On Ethan Stark...I invoke the Order of Pro Nostris."
——
Later that night at the fully erected camp site...
The tents were in organized clusters around a central bonfire. Purple Belsorth tents on one side, and black Mallory tents with red trim on the other.
Torches marked the periter and students gathered around the fire on log benches.
Miss Hana was standing close the flas and addressing the group.
"I want to acknowledge the Belsorth students who responded when one of our teams was in danger today," she said. "You acted without hesitation and saved the lives when it mattered."
A few Mallory students clapped politely, while the Belsorth students cheered louder.
From the edge of the tent area, soone was staring at Ethan.
It was the student, Dante Fitzgerald. He had Green hair and pale skin. For so reason, he hadn’t joined the others at the bonfire.
Ethan felt the stare and turned his head towards the direction it ca from where their eyes t for two seconds.
Then Dante turned and walked into his tent without a word.
Ethan watched him disappear behind the canvas.
"Hm... creepy fellow," he muttered.
