".... system, you’re crazy," Liam muttered in a low voice.
He really has no idea how the system expected him to capture and ta such a creature. The system description of them was already enough to send chills down his spine.
The truth was that while Liam was scared out of his wits, he was actually excited at the sa ti. He had thought that since the laws of his universe doesn’t allow anyone to cultivate, then it was just all about science. But who would had thought that there are actually creatures like Void Beasts in his universe.
He really wants to see one, from afar of course, to really understand just what sort of creatures they are.
But all that would be for later. Right now, he can’t even fly out of Earth, much more get close to a creature that’s a massively huge cosmic whale, can swim through stars and it’s movents can cause multiple cosmic phenonons. He knew his limits, but he also knew that he will surpass those limits soon.
Liam sighed, as he refocused his thoughts. He still has to check out the remaining two rewards.
"System, I will be needing all of the information you have on Void Beasts later. And if you have information on how to ta them, that would be very appreciated," he said, then focused his attention on the third sign-in reward.

"...."
Liam, one again, was left speechless. The Eternal Qi Vein was exactly what he he needed if he wants to turn the Dinsional Space into a true world. And now? It just tell into his lap. He can’t thank the system enough.
Liam decided not to sit in the suite, thinking about it needlessly. But instead, go and see for himself what has changed in the Dinsional Space.
He banished from the room, appearing in the Dinsional Space. He imdiately looked around, looking for what has changed but he saw nothing.
"I guess it will take so ti for the effects to show. I will check it on it later," Liam said to himself.
He walked to the table where a big crimson egg rested on. He picked up the egg and observed it.
The egg was big, weighing a few kilograms at least. The shell was bright red and it was warm to the touch.
[The egg of a Three-Legged Golden Crow.]
"What?!" Liam muttered in shock.
Liam froze where he stood, eyes wide and heartbeat pounding with disbelief. He stared down at the crimson shell resting in his palms, the faint golden veins pulsing just beneath its glossy surface like molten tal coursing through rock. It radiated a warmth that wasn’t just physical.
"You’ve got to be kidding ," he whispered, shaking his head in awe and letting out a slow startled laughter.
A Three-Legged Golden Crow. He’d read about them countless tis in the lore of cultivation worlds—mythical solar beasts, embodints of the sun itself. Born from pure yang fire, their wings could ignite the skies, and their cries could split mountains. It was said that when one soared across a world’s heavens, its light could chase away darkness for a thousand miles.
But those were supposed to be legends. Creatures that lived at the pinnacle of existence—divine familiars of emperors and ancient gods. In many worlds, a single adult Golden Crow was enough to shift the balance of an entire realm’s power.
So myths even went further, claiming the suns that burned in the void were nothing but the remnants of Golden Crows that had transcended mortality.
And now one of those creatures—one of those living suns—was sleeping in his hands.
Liam let out a slow breath, steadying his emotions.
"You’ve really outdone yourself this ti, system."
He turned the egg slowly, inspecting every inch of its shell. Thin golden runes shimred just below the surface, cycling in slow spirals.
The warmth of the egg was comfortable for him, but he could tell that for any ordinary person, touching it would have ant severe burns.
"A Golden Crow..." he murmured. "A being born from the heart of the sun, capable of commanding celestial flas, devouring darkness, and igniting entire mountain ranges with a flap of its wings."
He rembered reading that each of its three legs represented one of the sun’s eternal cycles—dawn, zenith, and dusk. Its flas were said to contain the purest yang energy in existence. With proper cultivation, its essence alone could evolve into divine fire capable of refining stars.
"If even half of those legends are true, this little one will grow into sothing extraordinary," Liam smiled, as he let his imagination roam.
"When you hatch," he said quietly, "you’re going to be my partner... and perhaps, my greatest weapon."
He could already imagine how useful a Golden Crow companion would be—an aerial guardian and a living beacon of destruction. More than that, it was a companion born from divinity, one that carried the potential to ascend beyond even his imagination.
But then a practical thought surfaced, cutting through his excitent.
"System," he said, breaking the silence, "do I need to bond with it? Or will it hatch on its own and recognize afterward?"
[The Host must form a spiritual bond with the creature before it hatches. Failure to do so may result in rejection or hostility after birth.]
"Hostility? From a newborn?" Liam blinked in surprise, but he could understand.
Three-Legged Golden Crows are divine beasts. Even freshly hatched, they possess high intelligence and instinctive pride. Without a bond, it may refuse his authority or worse, consider him as prey.
"Right. Definitely not sothing I want happening," he exhaled slowly.
He frowned slightly, thinking. "So how do I bond with it, then?"
[A single drop of the Host’s blood upon the shell will initiate the bond. The egg will recognize the Host’s essence, and the creature within will be imprinted spiritually. Upon hatching, it will acknowledge you as master and kin.]
Liam studied the egg again, turning it in his hands. "Simple enough. But... does this bond co with any benefits?"
[Absolutely, Host. Once the bond is established, the Host will be linked to the Three-Legged Golden Crow’s life force and abilities. The Host will be able to channel the Crow’s innate powers. As the creature grows stronger, so too will the Host’s connection. When fully matured, the Host will have partial access to divine fire — capable of incinerating matter, energy, or spirit alike.]
Liam froze mid-breath. His mind spun as the weight of those words sank in.
"Wait... are you saying I’ll be able to use its powers?"
[Correct, Host. All abilities developed by the bonded spirit beast can be channeled by the Host, albeit at a reduced output depending on your strengtj.]
"That’s insane...," Liam said in a low voice, as his pulse quickened.
He knew what this an for him. It was a shared evolution. Every ti the Crow grew stronger, he would, too!
