Seeing the look on Logan's face, Tsukuru continued.
"Yesterday, and two of my roommates decided to visit the VR Room to check out Power Fighters." Tsukuru explained.
Hearing this, Logan narrowed his eyes.
"You know you won't be able to use your Ability in there." He replied.
Tsukuru narrowed his eyes at Logan.
"I'm aware." Tsukuru snapped in a sharp tone. "However, when I stepped into the pod, I…discovered sothing."
Logan raised an eyebrow in confusion.
"I discovered that my System is…compatable with VR technology." Tsukuru explained, before turning back to Logan.
Logan's eyes had widened slightly.
While before he had a bored expression on his face, he now looked suddenly interested.
Tsukuru's eyes narrowed, a serious look appearing on his face.
"I want you to make a portable VR capsule." Tsukuru replied.
There was a long pause.
Then, Logan spoke.
"'A portable VR Capsule'?" He asked, narrowing his eyes. "Like what, exactly?"
In response, Tsukuru activated his Ability.
The sound of electronic interference filled the room, and pixels began to appear in Tsukuru's hand.
The pixels clustered together into the shape of a "helt" of sorts.
There was a flash of light.
When it faded, Tsukuru was holding a helt in his hands.
Tsukuru threw the helt to Logan, and he looked at it.
The helt was made of a blue tal, and completely covered the head down to the neck.
It also had a translucent, blue visor that appeared to be made out of a sturdy glass, like the windshield of a vehicle.
Along the spot where the wearer's right temple would be, there were three black squares.
Due to Logan being an expert in technology, he assud that these "squares" represented lights that would appear when the device was "turned on".
Along the top of the helt at the forehead, it had "NVG" written in big, bold letters with the word "NERVEGEAR" written below it in a smaller font.
"That is a replica of a headset from one of my shows." Tsukuru replied, causing Logan to look up at him.
Tsukuru glanced to the side.
"In the early 2000's through the 2020's, there was a specific genre of ani that used sothing called 'Deep Dive Technology'." Tsukuru explained, before looking back at Logan.
"It's essentially the sa concept as your 'VR Capsules'."
Logan continued to examine the helt.
"When do you want this made by?" He asked, the concept of putting his VR technology into a smaller, more portable size being a genuine interest to him if he was being perfectly honest with himself.
Tsukuru waved his hand dismissively.
"Eh, whenever you get around to it." He muttered, before standing up.
He turned towards the door.
"I have another prior engagent today, so I don't need it right this very second, but I also don't want to wait until the end of the sester for it, either."
Logan continued to examine the replica helt.
'The large, bulky size of the VR Pods has always been a problem.' Logan thought to himself. 'You need a large area to accommodate its size. This would solve that issue.'
He then looked back up at Tsukuru.
"I won't be able to implent the 'Beast Gear' compartnt on sothing this compact." He replied.
Tsukuru waved his hand dismissively.
"Don't need it." He replied, before glancing over at Logan. "In fact, I don't need it to be able to connect to the Power Fighters server at all. All I need is for you to make it capable of using the VR technology."
Hearing this, Logan's face morphed into a confused look.
"Then what is it connecting to?" He asked.
Tsukuru tapped his right temple, signalling to Logan that it had sothing to do with his System.
"My System has a special 'Battle Arena' function that uses your VR technology as a conduit." He explained.
Logan nodded, before he looked back down at the helt in his hands.
"I'll call you when it's done." He replied.
Tsukuru nodded.
"Thanks, Logan." He replied.
Tsukuru stood up, like he was about to leave, but then froze.
"Actually, there is one more thing I wanted to ask you." Tsukuru replied, turning back to Logan.
Hearing this, Logan glanced up from the helt.
"What's that?" He asked.
In response, Tsukuru held up his wristwatch.
"Can you…upload a 'voice command' program in this thing?" He asked, hope in his voice. "I'm sick of having to scroll through a never-ending list of nas just to find one person that I want to call."
Logan glanced at Tsukuru for a mont, then held out his hand.
"Let see it." he replied.
Tsukuru smiled.
He walked back over to the chair, and sat back down.
He reached his hand out towards Logan.
Logan grabbed his hand in his, and the chanical spiders crawled out from his sleeve.
The spiders crawled across Logan's hand to Tsukuru's wrist, and sward around Tsukuru's wristwatch.
After a few minutes, Tsukuru saw the spiders retreat back into Logan's sleeve.
"Alright." Logan said, looking up at Tsukuru. "It's done."
Tsukuru smiled and nodded.
He then got up, and walked out the door.
As Tsukuru shut the door behind him, Logan glanced over at the black rotary chair that Tsukuru had left behind in his room.
After staring at it for a few minutes, Logan got up from his seat, and sat down in the rotary chair.
"Damn." Logan thought as he adjusted himself in the chair. "This is a really comfortable chair."
Once he left Logan's room, Tsukuru began to walk down the hall.
'While Logan is working on that, I'll go do the other thing I planned on doing today.' Tsukuru thought.
He brought his watch up to his chest, and looked down at it.
"Call Alia Graylash." He replied.
Almost instantly, the screen began to change.
The watch brought up the "Contacts" list on its own, and began scrolling through nas.
Once it reached Alia's na, her na lit up bright.
A mont later, his wristwatch sent out the communication.
On the other side of the school, the girl in question, Alia Graylash, was bent over one of the school's various vending machines, reaching down to grab the can of soda she had just purchased.
As Alia straightened her back, her new soda can in her right hand, her wristwatch began to beep.
Confused, she brought her right wrist, which housed her wristwatch, up to her chest to look at it.
As she saw the na begin displayed, her heart began to race.
Both in excitent, and slightly in fear.
She still was a bit jittery about her practice yesterday, when Tsukuru had used her as a living dart board.
Alia gulped, and slowly brought her left hand up to the watch, answering it.
"H-Hello?" She asked.
A mont later, Tsukuru's voice ca through her watch's speakers.
"Hey, Alia." Tsukuru replied. "So, listen, I didn't really have much of anything planned today, so I was wondering if you wanted to 'train' so more."
It wasn't exactly a lie.
While Tsukuru did plan to go to the VR Room at so point so he could at least make so progress in the Battle Arena, at least until Logan got his little 'Project' completed, he wasn't in a huge rush to do it.
After a minute or two, Alia spoke up.
"Yeah, sure." She said in a slightly tense voice. She looked towards the left. "et you at the front of the school?" She asked.
Back in the dormitory, Tsukuru had a gentle smile on his face.
"Yeah, sure." He replied. "I'll et you there."
