"And your dream?" The young captain countered. "Isn’t there sothing you simply want to do for yourself, not just inheriting others’ dreams but sothing solely yours?"
"My dream?" Xue Dili rembered his childhood dreams, and also thought of himself striding forward in another parallel world from his childhood fantasies, saying, "I’ve already fulfilled my childhood dreams!"
"So now, I have no dreams, but I can protect others’ dreams," Xue Dili gave his answer.
The young captain fell silent too, looking at the false sky, murmuring, "Protect others’ dreams, huh..."
The atmosphere between the two entered a deeper ideological collision. Perhaps the young captain was also confused due to his nurous children, doubting if he should continue on his original path.
He paused and shared a story with Xue Dili: "My hotown once faced an asteroid that could destroy the planet."
