First, promise them a little bit of retirent benefits, not too much, like 5332 being able to earn its own money and repair itself. Then, over ti, gradually reduce the benefits. Let the chs age and beco unable to adapt to new equipnt on their own, and they naturally won’t have the ability to rebel anymore.
By then, these chs will be old, and new weapons won’t suit them. How can they rebel then? At that ti, you can withdraw the benefits and let them naturally age and die. Even if so chas resist, they won’t be able to stir up a big storm.
You just have to deceive them a bit, first calm the public sentint! You don’t even bother to deceive them!
But the Empire is doing fine. The Insect Race war ended only 38 years ago. The old batch of chs hasn’t aged yet, and the weapons still fit. But they’re directly treating them differently, showing apathy, and outright saying they won’t repair them, letting them fend for themselves.
Goodness, the Empire’s tactics are on par with MacArthur, and those rebel forces are like the old veterans next door seeking pay after WWII.
However, the difference is, the veterans seeking pay lost their fangs and can only cling to the tracks, while these Fearless chas just ca off the front lines, can’t stand it, and punch the Empire to pieces, rebelling with their hawkish comrades and capturing an entire colony in an instant, then began mass-producing troops.
One can only say, better replace the Emperor of that Empire with Liu Chan. Even the useless A Dou would do better.
The Xue Dili can only say so people are just naturally unsuited to beco political beings. To make them leaders is truly the highlight of their lives.
And don’t ask why 5332 doesn’t rebel, because the policies about retired chas are different everywhere. In so places, local nobles have absolute power and siphon off benefits from retired chas.
and other conservative chas are the lucky ones, not embezzled and having their own jobs and families. They work on farms daily, play with birds, till the land, with family mbers helping to clean their lenses. Isn’t this life good? So naturally, they can’t understand why so chas rebel.
And the rebellious chas can’t understand why the Empire is in such a state, yet so good brothers just won’t rebel. This crappy life is intolerable; why do they insist on being the Empire’s dogs?
Such inherent disparities lead to misunderstandings between the dovish and hawkish factions, and both sides enter into a new stage of war. The doves call the hawks traitors and rebels, while the hawks call the doves the Empire’s dogs, and they fight fiercely.
...
When he ca to his senses, Xue Dili looked at the ti; it was 6:00 AM.
Today was the first day of school after the long holiday, and Xue Dili got up early to start washing.
At the sa ti, when he focused his attention back in the Consciousness Space, he found that the Fearless cha 5332, which previously only had one cara, now had three chanical arms and a jumping device under its base.
Though the cables behind its eye were simply wrapped with electrician’s tape, rendering its movents crude, it finally had so mobility.
"I’ve basically regained mobility, brother. Thank you for your initial help. Though it’s presumptuous, may I ask if there’s a larger machine for to steer? It’s really a bother, brother," the Fearless cha said rather embarrassedly.
Xue Dili scratched his head at this, knowing that buying a large machine legally wouldn’t be easy for him, and even the largest machines on Earth leaned towards being manually controlled rather than automatic.
Xue Dili pondered, wondering if the recent trolleys had been completely switched to automatic control?
And among the trolleys, was there sothing like a hundred-ton king?
Thinking of this, he imdiately picked up his phone to check and, unexpectedly, there was! An electric hundred-ton king, a driverless trolley!
Xue Dili checked and found that the company even had a branch in Jiang City, with stock available.
Looking at the schedule for his classes at eight today, then at the wobbly-moving Fearless cha in the Consciousness Space,
"Hold on, brother, I’ll get you an external prosthetic." Xue Dili decided to skip class imdiately.
...
Xue Dili was perpetually in a state of skipping electives by necessity and required courses by choice, expecting a disastrous outco co final exams.
But Xue Dili still decisively skipped class and headed to the electric hundred-ton king factory in Jiang City.
He knew that the current electric hundred-ton king was a product of marketing surpassing its actual capability since genuinely carrying a hundred tons would involve unimaginable power consumption.
So the so-called electric hundred-ton king actually only had a rated load of one-tenth.
But this was entirely sufficient as a temporary prosthetic for the Fearless cha.
And this contraption was the most suitable existing civilian product for the Fearless cha.
Xue Dili had no hesitation and bought the electric Grand Hauler outright, despite it requiring a special license to purchase. Xue Dili wasn’t above subtly using so magic.
Afterwards, following cumberso procedures and operations, it took half a day before Xue Dili managed to bring the Grand Hauler into the Consciousness Space using the Concealnt Technique.
"Alright, here’s the new external prosthetic for you. Use it temporarily; don’t put too much stock into this thing. Its performance is probably akin to a toy in your eyes," Xue Dili patted the body of the Grand Hauler.
After all, standing in front of chas weighing several thousand tons without much effort, Xue Dili felt that even the hundred-ton state of the Grand Hauler was not noteworthy.
