Luckily, though, he had not yet experienced brain death.
Without a word, Xue Dili used Cursed Blood, instantly transferring the pain of muscle dissolution and organ overload onto himself.
Cloud Star was pulled back from the brink of death but, due to prolonged oxygen deprivation, fell into a deep sleep.
Ronald was slightly better off; at least he could still manage a few words, and after Xue Dili aided his recovery with Cursed Blood, he too fell into a deep slumber.
"Sorry, I’m late..." Xue Dili said, surveying the almost entirely leveled city, there should still be more survivors here, there must be...
