A jet-black bird perched on a branch beside him, its ink-like eyes seemingly glaring at Xue Dili, but as it tried to fly, the roots wrapped around it like tentacles, absorbing it completely...
Xue Dili watched this scene silently, the traffic lights at the crossroads of the distant city flickered ominously, each ti the green light appeared, new blood handprints surfaced on the asphalt. On an apartnt balcony, a clothesline hung dried blood-stained clothes.
"Did I, co to the wrong place?" Xue Dili looked at the distant city, nothing but devastation was in sight. It didn’t look like a normal city, more like a world long abandoned and destroyed, then overtaken by Evil Spirits.
