"Great, my dear Hero, you’ve finally arrived!" A crisp, lodious female voice rang in Xue Dili’s ear.
Xue Dili: "?"
It was only then that he saw where he was—a gigantic magic array drawn in blood, with many familiar inscriptions, though he couldn’t quite place them.
It was nightti, the red moonlight outside casting down. He stood at the center of the magic array, with six young ladies praying at its corners, the waves of magical power still surging.
"My dear Hero, please save our world!" The young lady who spoke first pleaded.
Suddenly, the roar of a beast echoed from outside. Xue Dili imdiately sensed a deeply evil aura, slapping his hand to his waist, he shouted.
"Henshin!"
The Birdman Armor instantly covered him, and the Cursed Blood ford into a Blood Greatsword in an instant.
A fearso creature, like a sandworm, burst through the ground, towering over four ters. Its grotesque maw filled with scars, roared at Xue Dili and rushed at him.
Xue Dili was thoroughly confused. Who am I? Where am I? What am I supposed to do?
No matter, let’s just go on a rampage.
He pushed the young lady aside, readying the greatsword in his hand.
"That’s the Evil Worm, a demon beast influenced by the Evil God’s aura! Damn it, could the seal already be weakening?" Uncle Brave exclaid in panic.
In a flash, Xue Dili dodged the Evil Worm’s attack, stepping on its body to use it as leverage, and then...
Dragon Ascension!
In Ancient Greece, he’d always used a spear to fit the part of a Greek, and it had been ages since he’d perford Dragon Ascension, making his hands itch.
Descending from the sky, his swordsmanship cleaved the Evil Worm vertically in two, the grayish liquid splattering within the dilapidated Divine Hall, splashing in front of the young ladies.
The young ladies who perford the "Summoning of the Brave" seed shocked at the scene, collapsing to the ground as the red moonlight shone through, casting its light on the Evil Worm’s corpse and elongating Xue Dili’s armored silhouette.
"Based on the phrases provided by Heroic Lot, the local language has been deciphered." The old module he’d left behind began to activate.
The young ladies stared blankly at Xue Dili as he extended his hand and said, "I co in answer to the summons. Tell , are you my summoner?"
The moonlight fell behind him, and the "Knight" armor was still splattered with the Evil Worm’s blood, as the young ladies’ eyes sparkled with admiration.
...
Suddenly, two arrows flew in from outside, and Xue Dili quickly swung his Blood Greatsword to intercept them.
"Is it an archer?" Xue Dili muttered so cryptic words to himself.
"What kind of chuunibyou nonsense is that?" Uncle Brave retorted.
However, an elf maiden dressed scantily leapt into the dilapidated Divine Hall, readying her bow and arrow, and said, "Forr mber of Hero Squad, Archer Ani, here for support... huh?"
Her golden locks shone with a soft luster in the moonlight, gently floating down like a cascading waterfall. Her fair skin seed to glow faintly, dressed in a lightweight green robe embroidered with exquisite silver patterns, embodying both nobility and nature.
She stared in surprise at the Evil Worm’s bisected corpse, and at Xue Dili, now armored like a warrior, tilting her head in confusion: "Did the Summoning of the Brave succeed again?"
"Yes, Lady Ani, after 16 years, we’ve successfully summoned a new hero again!" The young lady stood up, grasping Xue Dili’s hand.
Seeing the elf maiden, Uncle Brave seed to lose it.
"Ani, it’s Ani! She’s fine, she’s alive, that’s good, that’s good. Has it really been 16 years? My seal should’ve loosened long ago, but Ani is still so young. The kingdom should be fine, too, right?"
In the Consciousness Space, Uncle Brave rambled on.
He finally t an old acquaintance, a mber of his forr Hero Squad.
Although 16 years had passed in this world, for Uncle Brave, it felt like he closed his eyes and opened them to the future.
Only Xue Dili sensed sothing was off.
Just after crossing over, he t six young ladies needing his rescue, a gigantic Evil Worm erupted, followed by a cool elf maiden for backup. What kind of Otherworld toilet paper plot is this?
He glanced at the Evil Worm’s corpse, using his panel’s function to record the corpse’s details.
He suddenly noticed many man-made wounds on the Evil Worm’s body...
Perhaps, this was originally a "damsel saves the hero" theater, but he was too fast, and with a zero-fra start, took out the theater’s villain, hence this outco.
Low-level trickery.
"Ha, sorry." The elf archer, Ani, put her arrows back in her quiver, approached Xue Dili, and said with a smile, "But since you’re the Hero, I, as a forr Hero Squad mber, can’t just overlook it."
"From now on, I’m your teacher, teaching you about this world." The elf maiden approached with a self-introduction, almost sticking to Xue Dili.
...
"Ani, 16 years have passed, but neither her appearance nor her personality has changed; she’s still a fool like she used to be." In the Consciousness Space, Uncle Brave nostalgically watched the elf archer continually cling to Xue Dili.
He sighed, seemingly reminiscing about his lost youth.
A dilapidated carriage trundled along a muddy path.
Inside the carriage, the elf maiden, very self-introducing, stuck close, explaining so of the world’s common sense to Xue Dili. Her cool attire and smooth skin brushed against him occasionally, whether intentional or not.
The cramped carriage held several other young ladies, leaving Xue Dili nowhere to evade.
He could only look to the sky, seeing five moons, largely shimring with an eerie red.
The Otherworld satellites, truly nurous.
After he removed his armor, the elf maiden’s eyes seed to glow, sticking even closer, as if she’d like to pull Xue Dili’s arm into her ager bosom.
"Hmm? Ah Xue, I feel the Power of Love!" Uncle Brave suddenly spoke to Xue Dili, "Ani, and the other girls, they all seem to have fallen for you!"
Xue Dili: "..."
"Uncle, haven’t you realized?" Xue Dili remained speechless for a long ti before he couldn’t help but speak.
"Realize what?"
"That Evil Worm was released deliberately. Its body full of man-made wounds and traces of ropes..." Xue Dili shared what he’d gathered, feeling extrely cautious, and told the oblivious Uncle Brave, "Uncle, you’re delusional."
"Didn’t you notice? The attitude of this elf maiden towards mirrors how other won treated you when you first ca to this world?"
Xue Dili laughed, this world was truly deranged. The newly arrived hero already had seven won throwing themselves at him.
Even crazier than Ancient Greece.
"She doesn’t love ; she just wants to sleep with , Uncle." Xue Dili mocked Uncle Brave, "You’re way too shallow in sensing love. This isn’t love, it’s sheer desire, possibly alongside her master’s orders."
Uncle Brave was montarily stunned. Indeed, he’d only sensed a ager amount of Power of Love, barely reaching Tier One. It reminded him of eting his sweetheart, Cattelan, for the first ti—the sa!
This mont was just like that mont.
Furthermore, the Power of Love from his sweetheart Cattelan back then matched Ani’s now—barely Tier One!
