The vampire world was a race that had a long, plex history with multiple moving parts.
In some cases, due to everything they had been through and the structure of the vampires themselves, a large, various amount of systems had been created within the society.
pared to the werewolves, the vampires had a chance to grow and cement their rules and placement in the world, or at least they thought they did.
One of these rules and situations the vampires had was the selection process for the next king or queen of the vampires.
As Lucien had stated, when one became king, they gained access to a certain power, absolute blood control.
He had been displaying this power, and it allowed him to fight the way he had done so far, matching Gary's incredibly powerful forms.
However, there was one more thing that made the king the king in the vampire world.
And that was the blood armor. The armor that Lucien was now wearing on his body, covered from head to toe.
An armor that was only allowed to be worn by the kings.
The dark red glow started to radiate and glow with energy. The aura of it intensified and felt nearly as strong as the power that Lucien was able to let out just by himself.
'What is that armor…is it some type of beast armor. How can it be so powerful?' Gary thought, as he placed his hands in front of him.
When Gary thought he finally had the upper edge, that he could win this fight, his opponent had pulled out one more thing.
'If the vampires are using beast armor, then I have no choice, I'll just have to do the same!' Gary thought as he was ready to reach up to his earring, planning to use the gift that the Dark Guild had given him.
Until the dreaded message had appeared in front of him.

Almost immediately, Gary could feel the energy seeping out of him, and he remembered what the system said. That without it, once this form had ended, all access to the skills he would use would then be gone.
The energy was immediately seeping out of him, and he could feel that he was getting weaker, and he was waiting to see just what this special armor that Lucien was wearing could do.
The first thing Lucien did while wearing the armor was lift his hand in the air.
"That's enough…I think the two of us should conclude our fight here!" Lucien claimed.
Right after, the armor started to seep away from him, turning into what looked like nothing but aura and was heading back into the special ring from where it had e from.
"Stop the fight." Gary internally mumbled to himself. His body was already shrinking down and reverting back to its human form.
It was good timing to say the least, as it had the appearance that he was plying and agreeing.
"It seems that you have agreed to stop there," Lucien said, and immediately gave a small bow of the head towards Gary.
"First, I would like to apologize for all of this, for everything that I have done, and for the mess we have made of your city," Lucien claimed.
The turn in attitude, the turn in the situation, it had flipped and caused concern for Gary. People only acted a particular way when they wanted something.
"I will explain, as we said before, everything we had done so far was a test. We wished to test the power of the pack that you have, the people that are by your side.
"But lastly, what we wanted, and needed to see most was the limits of your own power Gary, to see just how far you could go.
"We didn't wish to bring harm, and I think you should be able to see that, as we haven't harmed a single person within your group.
"On top of that, we even cleared the area, making it void of people before our fight, as we do not wish to harm the humans."
"Not wanting to harm humans?" Olivia laughed. "I didn't realize that you vampires saw yourself as so righteous."
"Correct," Lucien said. "It is our duty in the world, for being bestowed a power and strength higher than them, that we must protect them, and because of this view, we have had much trouble between us and your kind in the past."
In a lot of cases, Gary could often tell if a person was lying or not. His heightened sense of smell and hearing helped him.
With a vampire though, he had no idea, yet based on what the man was saying, he had to believe him.

"The reason I showed you the blood armor just now is because I wanted you to know that it was not the limit of our strength. Our two groups don't know each other.
"I don't know your nature, your goals, or what you wish to do, but what I do need to make sure is that you know our power, so you know that at any point and time, we are able to get rid of you."
There were a lot of disgruntled grunts ing from Gary's allies in the back.
They didn't like the way the king was talking, but in a lot of ways, Gary understood.
At the end of it, he wanted peace anyway. If the vampires didn't do anything to them just because they felt they were vastly superior, then he didn't care as long as they didn't get hurt.
However, they had e to them, they had e to them for a reason and tried to test them, which means they wanted them involved in something.
"Let's head to some place where we both can talk. There is something I would like to propose with you Gary Dem, something that will help you and us," Lucien claimed.
