Chen Yi invited Po Xiao to the group chat.

"Po Xiao? A newbie? Is he from your Perception No. 1?" A user nad Chi Xue Child was the first to speak up.

Chen Yi imdiately explained, "He’s from Marketing Departnt Two. Just started today."

Liu Yiyi sent a surprised emoji. "Just started today? Is he a relative of yours?"

Xiao Xiaomo posted a picture to quiet the chat. "Stop talking about him. He’s not very talkative."

After just two ssages, she’d already seen Jiang Zuo frown at his phone several tis.

’Was it a good idea to pull him into this group chat?’

"From the Market Departnt? Is he free? I have an urgent job over here, does he want it?" a user nad Blade Master Hai Bian posted, along with a pleading emoji.

Then, Po Xiao sent two words: "The specifics?"

Blade Master Hai Bian: "It’s a commission from a fellow cultivator. His pet knows Concealnt, and its Concealing Level is very high. He can’t find it now and thinks sothing might have happened to it. He wants to hire soone to help find it.

Thirty thousand for a clue, and three hundred thousand plus one Moon Tear Bead for finding it."

Chi Xue Child sent a mischievous emoji. "Guess who I’m thinking of?"

Liu Yiyi also sent a mischievous emoji. "I bet we’re thinking the sa thing."

Chen Yi: 1

Xiao Xiaomo: 1

Yang Mu: 1

Jiang Zuo ignored their wicked sense of humor. The mont he saw the words "Moon Tear Bead," he imdiately sent a two-word reply: "I’m in."

The Moon Tear Bead. Jiang Zuo didn’t know how valuable it was to these people, but to him, it was worth a fortune.

It was the key to his Cultivation.

Under normal circumstances, he had no aptitude for Cultivation.

Without a fortuitous encounter, it was impossible for him to cultivate. He had been planning to use a more troubleso thod, but with a Moon Tear Bead, that would no longer be necessary.

After getting the client’s contact information for the job, Jiang Zuo revealed a humorless smile.

Chi Xue Child posted an image of soone kowtowing. "I’m impressed. From the way he talks, you can tell he’s a total boss."

Liu Yiyi asked, "Is Po Xiao a Daoist na?"

Yang Mu also sent a ssage: "Yes."

Liu Yiyi sent a shocked emoji. "How do you know that too? Since when did the Perception Departnt and the Tech Departnt start working together?"

A user nad Liuyue Xue: "I wasn’t at work today. They probably went to a mixer."

Chi Xue Child sent a blood-spitting emoji. "And they didn’t invite ? I’ve been a virgin for over a decade!"

At this point, Jiang Zuo stopped paying attention to the group chat.

He decided to pay a visit to the client’s house. The Moon Tear Bead was best used at night, and he didn’t want to wait until the next one.

After leaving Departnt Two, Jiang Zuo went to HR, which seed to be a shared departnt for the whole company.

He needed to get a new work badge.

Once he had his new badge, Jiang Zuo left the Tianhe Group. His new desk location was indicated on the badge itself.

He didn’t need anyone to show him the way; the layouts for Marketing Departnt One and Two were identical.

「Wilderness Street」

This was where the client was located.

Jiang Zuo dialed his number.

"Who is this?"

"The person who took your commission. Is the Moon Tear Bead ready? I don’t want to hear that I can only have it tomorrow," Jiang Zuo said coolly.

The person on the other end was stunned. ’This was the most arrogant person he had ever t. The people who take these commissions are all from the Tianhe Market Departnt, right? Have the people at the Tianhe Market Departnt all beco this arrogant?’

Jiang Zuo suddenly felt that his way of speaking might have been a bit off. ’It was a force of habit. In the past, no one had ever dared to defy him.’

Still, he had no intention of changing his tone.

Then, the man said in a cold voice, "As long as you help find Xiaoli today, you can have your reward on the spot. I hope you’re not just all talk."

"Just have the Moon Tear Bead ready," Jiang Zuo said before hanging up.

He then arrived in front of a courtyard. This was the client’s residence.

He knocked, and the door was opened by a handso, middle-aged man.

"Po Xiao?"

Jiang Zuo nodded. He wasted no ti on pleasantries, getting straight to the point: "Show a photo of the pet."

This was the man Jiang Zuo had just spoken to on the phone. He was the client.

Jiang Zuo was certain of it.

’To arrive and imdiately get to work without any small talk...’ This was the first ti Gu Jiansheng had ever seen soone so brutally efficient. The others who had co before would always exchange at least a few pleasantries upon eting him. ’Hopefully, he wasn’t just putting on an act.’

With that thought, Gu Jiansheng took out a photograph and handed it to Jiang Zuo.

Jiang Zuo only glanced at the photo before walking past Gu Jiansheng into the house. He didn’t even take the picture.

This made Gu Jiansheng so angry he nearly attacked him. This man was too arrogant; he had absolutely no respect for his elders.

Gu Jiansheng had already made up his mind. ’If this man was just posturing, he wouldn’t be leaving on his own two feet today. He was going to teach this young man that the Tianhe Market Departnt wasn’t such an easy place to be. And that earning money wasn’t so easy, either.’

In his hand, Jiang Zuo held a coin he’d just gotten on his way over. He had spent a while picking one out; this one had the best feel to it.

’To find sothing, you must have a target. The more precise it is, the easier the search. Knowing its na, its appearance, its features—the more you know, the better.’

Gu Jiansheng’s pet was nad Xiaoli. It was a small white fox, and its defining feature was that it was a Three-tailed Fox.

As the saying goes, people are divided into different classes, but this is just a human construct without any real defining basis.

But for foxes, they truly are divided into classes, and their tails are the defining factor.

A Nine-tailed Fox doesn’t represent one’s Cultivation, but rather one’s status. They are the nobility among foxes, superior to others in every way.

This fox, however, only had three tails. It just ant it had more intelligence and a slightly better aptitude for Cultivation than an ordinary fox.

Finding it should have been very easy, but its Talent for Concealnt was unexpected. Foxes don’t have this Talent, which ant this one must have had a fortuitous encounter.

If that encounter was a defining feature, it would be easy to find. But if it was a form of protection, that would increase the difficulty.

Thinking this, Jiang Zuo flipped the coin with his thumb.

’Feature or protection? The coin would reveal the answer when it landed.’

Gu Jiansheng, who was behind him, watched, completely dumbfounded. ’This was the first ti he’d seen soone from the Tianhe Market Departnt seriously try to find sothing by flipping a coin. If this actually worked, he’d eat his own phone. But seeing how this Po Xiao was going about finding his Xiaoli, he knew the man was just posturing and trying his luck. Maybe I should just go ahead and book him a hospital bed. How dare he try to fool ? Did he think Gu Jiansheng was so easily fooled?’

At that mont, the coin began to fall. As it dropped in front of him, Jiang Zuo snatched it out of the air, a smirk playing on his lips.

He turned to Gu Jiansheng, looked him up and down, and then said, "Found it."

Gu Jiansheng was taken aback. ’Found it? Where? Is he ssing with ?’

At this thought, Gu Jiansheng’s expression turned cold. This newcor was in serious need of a lesson.

Jiang Zuo seed completely oblivious to the change in Gu Jiansheng’s expression. He simply said, "The mont the coin lands is the mont the fox appears. Whether you catch it or not is not my problem. So, are you ready?"

"If Xiaoli doesn’t appear, you’d better be prepared for the consequences of toying with ."

Jiang Zuo said, "Don’t move. It’s starting."

Then, he tossed the coin into the air.
