Watching them take Titus Miles away, lody Sinclair sohow found the strength to scramble to her feet, only to have her arms pinned by two Martial Arts Masters.

"Let go! Give back my child!"

Hugo Lowell’s face darkened with displeasure as he looked at her crazed expression. "Lock her up—"

But lody Sinclair glared fiercely at Hugo Lowell and everyone else present, speaking word by word, "Sunstone will not let you get away with this..."

Enraged, Hugo Lowell chopped the back of her neck. lody Sinclair’s eyes shot open before her body went limp, and she finally closed her eyes.

Everything that had just happened made Eve Lowell suddenly feel a pang of fear. Her grandfather seed more and more like a stranger.

’He was so ruthless, even to his own daughter. If he found out about my other plan with Joyce Guthrie, would he kill with a single strike?’

Hugo Lowell gave her a cool glance and said to the person beside him, "Clean up our trail."

The man departed quickly.

Hugo Lowell walked over, patted Eve Lowell on the shoulder, and praised her, "Eve, you did well finding your aunt and cousin this ti."

Eve Lowell nodded, a little frightened.

After he left, Eve Lowell imdiately went to the job posting site for The International rcenary Alliance. She put up a high-priced request for a hacker, asking them to completely delete the chat history between her and Joyce Guthrie.

Their original plan was for her to be responsible for capturing the people around Aurora Sinclair, while Joyce Guthrie would handle Aurora herself.

Unexpectedly, after a period of surveillance, her n discovered that the nanny was actually her aunt.

Combining that with a phone call from the Vance Family she had eavesdropped on recently, she made a bold guess: this boy might be her aunt’s long-lost child.

So, she secretly changed her plan of torturing the people around Aurora Sinclair and instead told her grandfather the news, all to secure an escape route for herself.

She didn’t trust Joyce Guthrie, because that woman was utterly vicious. The original "genius" of the Guthrie Family hadn’t been Joyce, but Jensen Guthrie’s own sister, Jessica Guthrie. Jessica, however, was kidnapped and killed, and her body was never found.

Yet after Jessica Guthrie died, Joyce was spotted secretly burning joss paper on a rooftop, muttering sutras for the dead.

Eve happened to see this and imdiately told her parents, but they dismissed it, even thinking Joyce Guthrie was being loyal and compassionate. Only Eve felt it was a sign of Joyce’s guilty conscience, because she knew Joyce despised Jessica Guthrie and had even intentionally ruined one of Jessica’s paintings back then.

***

Just as Eve Lowell submitted the job, it was accepted by an A-level rcenary.

ID: YL (A-level)

[YL] Send the account info for both phones.

Overjoyed, Eve Lowell imdiately sent the information.

She hadn’t expected an A-level rcenary to take her job on her very first request.

When people from the Great Families like them needed things done that they couldn’t handle themselves, they would hire help from The International rcenary Alliance. The main reasons were the rcenaries’ high success rate and the platform’s strict confidentiality.

Rumor had it that the platform’s entire security system was maintained by an S-level rcenary nad Black, who was also the top dog in the hacker world. No one dared to attack a system he had built, which made the rcenaries’ League website internationally renowned for its credibility.

After waiting for five minutes, she received a reply.

’That was fast!’

Eve Lowell happily clicked on the job confirmation, only to find a ssage stating that the job had been rejected.

It even ca with an extra ssage.

[YL] You’d better pray she’s okay! Otherwise, I’ll annihilate your entire family!

anwhile, Elias Lennox, his face as black as thunder, bolted from the hospital, hailed a cab, and rushed toward 289 Kingsford Outskirts.

His fingers flew across his keyboard, furiously typing code to pinpoint Aurora Sinclair’s location.

But her phone seed to be behind so kind of firewall, and it took him a great deal of effort to break through.

When Alvin Morgan saw the hacking alert pop up on his phone, his gaze hardened, and he slamd his foot on the accelerator.

The car’s speed soared once more. The G-force pinning him to the passenger seat made Dean Morgan’s heart leap into his throat, and the veins on his fingers bulged as he gripped the grab handle.

’We’re screwed! The Master is absolutely furious!’

Because when they arrived, the place was empty.

There was only a computer and a bottle of aphrodisiac.

A recording was playing on the screen, the audio of soone forcing Aurora Sinclair to take the drug, threatening to kill them if she refused.

There were caras everywhere, obviously set up to completely ruin Aurora Sinclair’s reputation.

No wonder the Master was so furious.

The Master probably already had killing intent toward the mastermind behind all this.

「An abandoned factory in the Kingsford Outskirts.」

A soaking wet Aurora Sinclair was carried out of the sealed factory building on soone’s back.

"Alright, boys, here’s the beauty they’ve rewarded us with..."

"Hahaha... So soft and delicate. We’ll have to get a clear shot later..."

A man with a lecherous look on his face reached out to touch Aurora Sinclair’s cheek, but his wrist was suddenly caught by a pair of clean fingers. A sharp CRACK echoed as the bone broke, and the man squealed like a stuck pig.

The man carrying Aurora Sinclair seed to suffer a heavy blow, spitting out a mouthful of blood as he collapsed to his knees.

The sudden turn of events made the surrounding n retreat several steps in alarm.

Then they saw the girl who was supposed to be unconscious snap her eyes open, her icy pupils glinting with a cold light.

Frad by her soaking hair, her face was as pale as paper, like so kind of phantom. The sight terrified them, and they turned to run, but the surrounding atmospheric pressure grew heavier and heavier, crushing them until they could barely breathe, their feet as heavy as lead.

This was the Power of a High Rank Martial Cultivator.

Terror filled everyone’s eyes, and their bodies began to tremble uncontrollably.

"Where are they?" Her voice was devoid of emotion, as cold as ice, striking a primal fear into their hearts like the coming of the Grim Reaper.

"Where?" With a simple squeeze of her hand, the leader kneeling on the ground was lifted into the air by his neck, veins popping on his forehead as his face instantly turned crimson.

"On... on... the other side..." the leader managed to force out the words.

Aurora Sinclair slamd a fist into his Energy Sea Acupoint. The man’s body went rigid as every ridian in his body was destroyed.

His cultivation as a Great Martial Master was crippled.

"Where are the people from the surveillance video?" She dropped the leader and slowly advanced on the next man.

Terrified, the man collapsed to the ground, kowtowing and trembling. "In... in the house up ahead... Please, spare my life!"

Just as he finished speaking, the sound of screeching tires suddenly echoed from the factory entrance.

Aurora Sinclair’s eyes narrowed. She sprinted outside, moving so fast she seed to vanish in an instant.

The man inside the car was flooring the accelerator, trying to speed away.

Suddenly, with a loud THUD, it felt as though sothing heavy had smashed onto the roof of the car.

The man’s heart lurched. He glanced at his rearview mirror and saw a petite figure clinging to the roof. He trembled in fear, his face instantly turning pale as a cold sweat soaked his shirt.

He frantically spun the steering wheel, sending the car into a series of S-curves in an attempt to shake the person off the roof.

But Aurora Sinclair held on, using the car’s inertia to swing her body like an acrobat on a bar. She shattered the rear window with both feet and launched herself inside the car.

The man scrambled for his handgun, but Aurora Sinclair dislocated his right arm from behind.

"AHH—"

With a loud SCREECH and a deafening CRASH, the car slamd into a large tree on the side of the road, and the engine died.

The man in the driver’s seat suffered a severe impact and spat out a mouthful of blood.

In the back seat, Aurora Sinclair’s forehead was cut by shattered glass, and blood stread down her face.

She imdiately got out and dragged the man from the car like a dead weight.

"Where are they?"

Blood trickled from the man’s mouth. It was clear he had suffered severe internal injuries.

She grabbed his neck with one hand, lifting him up. Her eyes were filled with killing intent, the color of her pupils slowly fading.

"Where?"

Sensing her murderous intent, the man managed to force out a few words: "At... at... the... Lowell... Family..."
