When Leon Barron arrived, Class 6 was still as noisy as ever. He didn’t enter the classroom, just called out for Aurora Sinclair from the doorway.

The students who heard him imdiately quieted down considerably, all turning to look at the door.

Aurora Sinclair returned the phone to Alex Warren next to her and slowly walked out of the classroom.

Leon Barron didn’t imdiately ask about her grades. Instead, he said as they walked, "Aurora, co with to the office!"

As soon as the two left, Class 6 started buzzing with discussion again. "Why’s Mr. Barron looking for her?"

Leon Barron rarely called students to his office unless there was a school competition or event.

Soone guessed, "Could it be about the arts program admission? I heard Aurora Sinclair got in as a special arts student!"

"Pfft—is her specialty gaming or eating a lot?"

"Don’t say that. No matter what, she’s from the Sinclair Family of Kingsford. She’s not like us commoners who can only rely on the college entrance exams to change our fate."

"That’s true. After all, if she can’t get into college, she can still go ho and inherit a ten-billion-dollar fortune."

Luna Jennings glared at the students making these catty remarks and hurried off toward the office.

***

This was only the second ti Aurora Sinclair had entered the teachers’ office since starting at Kingsford No. 1 High School.

"Sinclair... get over here and explain this to . Why is this question blank?"

"Sinclair, you co here first. Tell why you didn’t write the essay!"

Aside from Leon Barron and Gloria Alden, the other teachers from Class 6 beca agitated the mont they saw her, marching over with her test papers in hand.

Leon Barron imdiately blocked them. "Sterling, Archer, let talk to her first. Aurora is a bit quiet..."

Master Sinclair had previously spoken to Leon Barron about Aurora Sinclair’s quiet and introverted personality, asking him to look out for her.

Leon Barron pulled over a chair for her to sit down, opened the science composite paper, and pointed to a question. "Aurora, solve this problem for ."

Aurora Sinclair picked up a pen and solved it correctly in less than 10 seconds.

Leon Barron took out several more papers, circled a few questions, and had her do them. Again, she quickly wrote down the correct answers.

The teachers who had run over to watch were baffled.

’She knows how to do all of them, doesn’t she? Why leave them blank?’

Gloria Alden suddenly recalled Aurora Sinclair’s phone call with Professor Greene and was stunned.

In disbelief, she pushed through the other teachers and asked, "Aurora, that 80 points you ntioned to Professor Greene last ti... could it be that soone told you to score exactly 80 on every subject?"

Aurora Sinclair looked at her for a mont, then nodded. "Grandpa told to score 80."

The teachers: ...

’What the hell kind of god-tier parent is this?’

All the subject teachers turned to Leon Barron, their gazes filled with pressure.

Steeling himself, Leon Barron continued to ask, "Aurora, do you know how to do all the questions on these papers?"

Aurora Sinclair shook her head. "There are two I don’t know."

"Which two?"

Aurora Sinclair pulled out her chemistry paper and pointed to two questions that were beyond the scope of the curriculum.

Leon Barron gave her a complicated look. Those two questions were worth 10 points in total.

"This is outrageous! Barron, call her guardian right now! I want to ask him why he’d only let his child score 80 points!"

Soon, Master Sinclair’s phone was ringing.

At first, Master Sinclair thought Aurora Sinclair had gotten into trouble again. He looked extrely nervous and was even getting ready to dress and go out.

But then he heard Leon Barron say very politely, "Mr. Sinclair, the joint exam results are out."

"Ah! They’re out? Barron, my Aurora was studying in a small town before, so her grades might be a bit poor, but she’s very hardworking. She goes to Arcadian University for tutoring every night..."

Leon Barron had his phone on speaker, and Master Sinclair’s rambling words reached the ears of every teacher in the room.

’This is...’

The teachers were baffled once again!

’Studied in a small town? Poor grades?’

"Mr. Sinclair... Mr. Sinclair, Aurora did quite well!" Leon Barron hurriedly interrupted Master Sinclair’s explanation.

"Ah? She did quite well?"

Leon Barron quickly explained Aurora Sinclair’s test situation, and Master Sinclair on the other end of the line fell silent.

After a long mont, he finally spoke. "Barron, put Aurora on the phone." His voice sounded relatively calm.

Aurora Sinclair had naturally heard this and leaned forward, calling out to Master Sinclair on the phone.

"Aurora! Is what Barron just said all true? You knew how to do all those problems, you just intentionally didn’t write the answers?"

"Mhm," Aurora Sinclair replied.

Master Sinclair fell silent again. After a mont, he coughed a few tis, suppressing the joy in his voice as he instructed in a seemingly nonchalant tone, "Aurora, next ti, score 100 on everything..."

The science composite teacher was delighted, but the teachers for Chinese, Math, and English were frantic. Forgetting all decorum, they squeezed forward to interject, "Mr. Sinclair, she can’t score 100 on everything! The Chinese, Math, and English exams are out of 150 points. She should at least get over 120!"

Master Sinclair coughed twice more. "Aurora, listen to your teachers! Do your best..."

Standing outside the door eavesdropping, Luna Jennings was grinning from ear to ear. ’So Aurora is this amazing!’

***

Back in the classroom, Luna Jennings shot a smug glance at the group of girls huddled together. Then, she loudly recounted what she had heard in the office to Alex Warren, who was busy playing gas next to her.

Alex Warren put down his phone in shock. "Holy shit! For real?"

"Of course it’s real! I heard it with my own ears. All the teachers were telling Aurora’s grandfather to have her score over 100 on her next exams, and the Chinese, Math, and English teachers even demanded at least 120 for each of their subjects..."

"Oh my god! Is our Aurora that badass? Does this an the God of Exams, Zeke Quincy, can retire? Can we just use a photo of Aurora as a good luck charm now?"

Luna Jennings nodded with a wide grin. "I have a few photos right here. First co, first served!"

"Quick, give one..."

Just then, Yvette Lawson rolled her eyes and said with a sneer, "Luna Jennings, everyone knows you’re good friends with Aurora Sinclair. There’s no need to spread lies like this for her, is there?"

"You’re right! Of course there’s no need to lie!" Luna Jennings didn’t bother explaining, replying with a calm and composed air that made Yvette Lawson seem petty in comparison.

Yvette Lawson shot another glare at Luna Jennings and turned away, but she was seething with frustration.

Beside her, Mona Lowell glanced over and offered so faint consolation, "Whatever the reason, not taking an exam seriously is disrespectful to the teachers who work so hard to teach us!"

Her voice wasn’t loud, but it was enough for the surrounding students to hear.

Alex Warren suddenly snorted with laughter and even humd a line, "What a beautiful Whitlock Lotus..."

The expressions on the other students’ faces were extrely strange. If they weren’t concerned with keeping up appearances, they probably would have burst into roaring laughter.

A few girls who weren’t particularly close to Mona Lowell covered their mouths and snickered, stealing glances at Mona, who was sitting at her desk biting her lip hard.

Suddenly, Mona Lowell flopped onto her desk and started crying. A few of her close friends imdiately gathered around to comfort her, shooting reproachful looks at Alex Warren, who had been singing.

Seeing this, Alex Warren rolled his eyes, stopped humming, and asked Luna Jennings, "Is this what you girls call a ’glass heart’?"

Luna Jennings was too embarrassed to nod, but she secretly gave him a thumbs-up.

***

In the afternoon, Leon Barron and the other subject teachers walked into the classroom carrying stacks of test papers and had the class representatives for each subject hand them out.

Mona Lowell looked at Aurora Sinclair’s science composite paper, her lips pressed into a thin line. She placed the test on her desk without any expression.

On top was the physics test, with a bright red 100 written on it in pen.

From the podium, Leon Barron announced the average score for Class 6 and distributed the overall rankings for the joint exam to each student.

Finally, he said pointedly, "I hope that when you all take your exams, you don’t hold anything back. You must give it your all and get the best results to reward yourselves."

The students of Class 6 silently turned to glance at Aurora Sinclair.

Elsewhere, after seeing Aurora Sinclair’s scores on his computer, Alvin Morgan let out a soft chuckle. "Not bad at all!"

Beta Morgan stared at the back of his master’s head with a bizarre expression, silently complaining in his head: ’A total score of 505, ranked 23rd in the class, 256th in the school, and over 8000th in the district. With a score like this, she wouldn’t even make the cutoff for a top-tier university in the actual college entrance exams. How is that ’not bad at all’?’

’His master was really losing all his principles.’

"Beta Morgan—"

"Master, I’m here!"

"What kind of gift should we prepare for Aurora?"

Beta Morgan: ...

"Master, how about six copies of the *Five Three*?"
