Aurora Sinclair suddenly threw her hands out in front of her, aiming at the large truck ahead.
The out-of-control truck, just as it was about to hit their car, seed to strike an invisible barrier. Its entire front end veered off in another direction, scraping past their vehicle before slamming into a nearby bridge pier.
The trendous crash was terrifying to hear.
Having narrowly escaped disaster, Beta Morgan’s face was deathly pale, and his heart was pounding wildly.
"I’m going to check it out."
With that, Aurora Sinclair got out of the car and walked back toward the crash.
But surprisingly, there was no driver in the truck. A gunshot suddenly rang out, and a bullet shot straight toward Aurora Sinclair.
A mont later, however, an unfamiliar male voice cried out in pain.
When Beta Morgan and Alvin Morgan rushed over, they saw a man forced into a bizarre, kneeling position on the ground. Aurora Sinclair had twisted his arm behind his back, and the sound of his bones snapping and crunching was audible.
Next to him lay a handgun and a spent bullet.
Alvin Morgan glanced at the man on the ground and said with a cold smirk, "Beta Morgan..."
Beta Morgan imdiately stepped forward to search him and found the tag of a Level Three Killer from The Shadow Organization.
"Sir, he’s from The Shadow." Beta Morgan handed the tag to Alvin Morgan, then crouched down again to pull at the man’s clothes for a closer look.
He found a black skull tattoo on the man’s arm.
"He isn’t one of The Shadow’s people," Aurora Sinclair said suddenly. "The Shadow Organization wouldn’t send a killer after , nor do their mbers get tattoos."
Beta Morgan was surprised. "Why not?"
"They want my data, so they’d never want dead. As for the tattoo, no true assassin would leave such an obvious identifying mark on their body. You’re no killer... you’re from the Vance Family."
Terror flashed in the eyes of the man on the ground, but the intense pain prevented him from opening his mouth to deny it.
"How did you know...?"
Startled by Aurora Sinclair’s last statent, Beta Morgan blurted out the question reflexively. But a look from his master made him stop, and a thought suddenly struck him—he rembered Aurora Sinclair’s extraordinary mory.
He froze and imdiately shut his mouth.
Alvin Morgan glanced indifferently at the wailing man on the ground and said calmly, "Aurora, so people don’t deserve your rcy."
Because her junior disciple, Titus Miles, was a mber of the Vance Family, Aurora had shown them so leniency and spared the family as a whole. She never expected them to still seek revenge.
If that was the case, then she no longer had any reason to hold back.
She imdiately announced in a booming voice, "The Vance Family has three days to leave Kingsford, or be annihilated—"
Her voice once again echoed across Kingsford, causing every mber of the Vance Family to tremble.
Connie Vance’s face was ashen, her nails digging viciously into her palms.
She was the one who had given the order to assassinate Aurora Sinclair. She never imagined that Aurora would expose the Vance Family so quickly and issue such a command. It was a vicious slap in the face, a humiliation that would make it impossible for the Vance Family to ever hold their heads high in The Martial World again.
Subsequently, the assassin was returned to the Vance Family by Dean Morgan, who announced coldly, "This makes twice. There will not be a third ti. This is the Vance Family’s second chance. Hand over the person who gave the order!"
To save his family, Aiden Vance, the new Family Head, had Connie Vance gagged and securely bound. He then pushed her out and handed her over to Dean Morgan.
From that day on, the Vance Family once again withdrew from Kingsford, fading into obscurity within The Martial World.

After dealing with the Vance Family, Aurora Sinclair and Alvin Morgan returned to the DAF Team for closed training.
With both the DAF Team and Master Rory competing, this year’s "Conquest of Glory" finals were generating more buzz than ever before.
After all, Master Rory’s skill was undeniable. Since the start of the tournant, she hadn’t lost a single individual match, and her team matches were basically guaranteed victories. She wasn’t called the Solo King of Veridia for nothing.
Moreover, she had shattered nurous records in Veridia’s "Conquest of Glory" tournant, including highest combo count, highest damage output, and highest APM.
Therefore, barring any surprises, Master Rory was on track to beco this season’s MVP.
As the reigning champions, Team PL was feeling imnse pressure.
This was Julian Lawson’s final year of competition, and he planned to retire after playing in the national and international tournants.
Therefore, Team PL’s goal for the year was to win the world championship.
They hadn’t expected Master Rory to return to DAF. Faced with such a formidable opponent, Team PL had spent the past several days analyzing her for any technical weaknesses.
They had even developed a series of strategies specifically designed to counter Master Rory in team matches.
They discovered that while Master Rory excelled at one-on-one combat, this was also her greatest weakness.
In team battles, her speed often caused her to beco disconnected from her teammates. Previously, weaker opponents couldn’t exploit this flaw, but against a strong team, it would be magnified imnsely.
Therefore, they planned to build their strategy around exploiting this tendency to fall out of sync.
