“Of course,” Huo Mian answered casually and frankly.
Many things had happened the last few years and Huo Mian now viewed Su Yu as family.
She didn’t want him to be hurt.
“Don’t worry. I’m tough… I won’t die any time soon.”
After sending Su Yu home, the bodyguards escorted Huo Mian home.
The gathering of the three had ended but it was an eventful night.
Su Xiaoxiao was not in the dorm when Han Yueyao came back. Han Yueyao was used to Su Xiaoxiao not being there.
She took off her makeup and took a hot shower. Then she washed her underwear in the washroom.
Su Xiaoxiao bought quite a lot of beer and spicy marinated duck. Then she went over to Lin Hang’s repair shop.
She was extremely satisfied after defeating Gao Yaruo.
To her surprise, Lin Hang’s attitude towards her was not enthusiastic. She felt that he was more enthusiastic about seeing Han Yueyao than seeing her.
“Hang, have a break. e and have a drink with me. I’m very happy today.”
“I’m not finished work. You can drink.”
Lin Hang was in his mechanic uniform and modifying a car. It looked like a big project.
“Yao-Yao’s on a reality TV show tomorrow. Do you want to go see it live with me?”
When Lin Hang heard Han Yueyao’s name, the movement of his wrench paused, and he said, “I’m busy tomorrow.”
“Psh… Fine. I’ll go myself. We have free tickets. I was thinking of getting a day off from my uncle so I can go cheer for Yao.”
Lin Hang didn’t respond. A bit past 10PM, Su Xiaoxiao got tired.
“Hang, I’m going to go now.”
“Okay.”
“If you ask me to stay, I might think about it,” Su Xiaoxiao said playfully behind Lin Hang.
“Xiaoxiao, stop fooling around. Hurry and go home and rest.”
Lin Hang wasn’t sweet on Su Xiaoxiao. He didn’t care that she was from a rich family nor did he think about thinking advantage of her. That was why he wasn’t close to her.
Su Xiaoxiao however would always tease Lin Hang.
Su Xiaoxiao went out and got on a taxi. She planned to go back to her dorm, but suddenly she received a text from Gao Yaruo.
“Xiaoxiao, I want to see you.”
“No need.”
“I have things to tell you.”
“You don’t need to apologize. It’s too late. You could have apologized earlier but now my uncle has told everyone who I am. Aren’t you disgusted at how pretentious you are?” Su Xiaoxiao thought Gao Yaruo was going to apologize to her once she found out who she was. That was why Su Xiaoxiao didn’t bother to deal with this jealous woman.
“Not that. What I want to tell you is something about the man you love.”
“?” Su Xiaoxiao responded with a question mark. She didn’t know what Gao Yaruo was up to.
“I’m by Shangdao Coffee Shop on Anqing Road. I’ll tell you when I see you,” Gao Yaruo said in a mysterious tone. Su Xiaoxiao was intrigued.
After some consideration, Su Xiaoxiao gave in to her curiosity. She told the taxi driver to go to the coffee shop instead.
When Su Xiaoxiao went into the coffee shop, she saw Gao Yaruo.
Gao Yaruo was dressed like a fancy girl with a Burberry coat on. Gao Yaruo, undeniably, had taste.
She didn’t have her supporters with her but rather came alone, so Su Xiaoxiao could tell that Gao Yaruo wanted to chat with her one-on-one.
“What is it? My time is precious,” Su Xiaoxiao sat down and said impatiently.
“Look at this, Xiaoxiao,” Gao Yaruo said. Then she laid down some photos onto the table.
