She gave me some of her men, and she left with the rest of them… so, I think she’s still in the forest. I have people looking for her, but no one’s found her yet, and no one can reach her. According to Su Yu, Su Yu and Mian saw that masked woman, so she’s probably the culprit. The fact that she saw Su Yu means that Lu Yan lost, no?”

Then, Qiao Fei left the military hospital. “Chu, I’ll be back.”

“Mhm, take care of yourself and call me if anything happens.”

After Qiao Fei left, Qin Chu paced inside Huo Mian’s room. He had a feeling that Lu Yan was more than lost or injured. After all, if Lu Yan heard that Huo Mian was unconscious at the hospital, she would e here at all costs. So, why wasn’t she here yet?

Another thought left Qin Chu feeling very uneasy. Did Huo Siqian really kill the ‘big boss’, a person even Professor Lu was scared of?

Qin Chu looked at Huo Mian, still unconscious in her bed, with worry written all over his face.

At the same time, on the other side of the world, Huo Mian woke up feeling sore everywhere.

Her vision seems blurry, and after blinking furiously, she finally realized that she was inside a room that was decorated with nothing but white.
