The night was over. Ethan’s father and mother, both were present here. They wanted to leave him too, but it was a long journey and they couldn’t leave for that long.
Trina was crying, "Ethan, I have packed your favourite foods inside your storage ring. It would last for months. Try to get along with others, even if you can’t admit there, don’t be disheartened, I will always be by your side, no matter what. Besides,there are other academies too."
She was hugging him and advising him.
Ethan listened to every word with patience.
Cadis also didn’t intervene. After Trina was done, Cadis stepped forward.
"Son, no one from our family ever dared to think we could get into that academy, so don’t take pressure. Just do your best."
This was all he needed to say.
Ethan smiled at both of them and entered the carriage.
Five monster horses would pull the carriage.
One hundred royal guards would guard him. There were 80 knights at true knight level and 20 magus at true magus level.
The mander was a grand knight and the vice mander was a high magus.
It was a super powerful escort team. The emperor would take such a powerful team if he ever went out.
Soon the carriage started moving forward.
Ethan closed his eyes. He was now a high magus himself and could bring out 50% mana from his core.
He was sure he could even snipe the mander if he wanted to with his portal spell and plasma beam spell.
He also learned a detection spell. He could now detect 5 km around him.
Ethan then opened his eyes, he modified the spell according to his test. It could always be activated passively and would give him a signal if anything threatening came into his detection. It didn’t take much mana.
Ethan took out a booklet to learn about the Supreme Magus Academy. It was a place for the ultimate geniuses of the human race.
Would he be able to get a place there? He would have been more confident if he could create a time spell too.
But what he didn’t know, as a 6 years old boy, he was an absolute monster to be in the high magus realm, moreover a true knight.
Those ultimate geniuses would only feel despair in front of him.
But it wasn’t Ethan’s fault. He didn’t leave the castle much, so he didn’t have the opportunity to pare his power with others. It would be the first time he was going to pete in an official petition.
Soon the sun was almost down. Ethan read all the details of the book.
The academy was established by Victor Frankenstein himself about 50 million years ago.
Each batch would take exactly 500 people, no quota was given to anyone. Not even the deans.
Only pure talent could get you an admission. This rule made the academy still functional like before, didn’t lose into the annals of history.
Suddenly he heard a knock on the door,
"Your highness, we are thinking of setting our tents here. What do you think?"
It was the voice of the vice mander Julious.
Ethan opened the window and saw the sun was about to set.
"Sure. And hunt some monsters too. I would like to eat barbecue tonight."
Julious said, "As you wish."
He left and ordered the soldiers to set the tents and fire.
He also ordered 20 guards to make a hunting party to hunt some monsters or a big one.
Soon the guards hunted down a monster bull and returned to the camp.
They had a barbecue party that night. The first night went peacefully.
The next morning, the carriage started again.
This day, they reached near a mountain range. They thought they should enter the mountain in the morning and so they camped early.
After setting up the camp, the soldiers again went to hunt but before they could go far, Ethan felt a huge mana source ing near them. It was super vast, more than the mander.
He shouted,
"e back this instant."
But before the soldiers could react, a huge mountainous monster attacked them out of nowhere.
It was super fast. They couldn’t even react. Despair instantly overwhelmed them and they closed their eyes.
But the impact they expected didn’t e.
Ethan didn’t have time to think and he used the plasma beam with his portal magic. The hind leg of the monster was penetrated. So it was caught off guard and lost its track.
The soldiers also got their rare chance to run back.
After ing back they had the chance to look at the monster for a better look.
It was a wild monster tusk boar the size of a carriage or even bigger.
But they didn’t know what happened and why it suddenly stopped its attack.
Edian was looking at the scene inside a space.
"That boy mastered such a powerful space elemental skill. Let’s see what he got first."
The mander came to his senses and ordered the guards to attack the boar at once.
The maguses took out their staves and started chanting.
Then they started firing spell after spell. The knights also took out bows.
But the arrows and the spells couldn’t even hurt the boar, let alone penetrate its body.
mander Relf looked at Julious,
"Attack it with your best shot. This monster is a grand tier monster. It won’t be easy to hurt it."
Julious nodded and started chanting his spell.
But the boar was already angry and it roared.
Instantly wind slashes came out toward the team. It was a wind elemental monster.
Relf shouted, "Barrier magic. Protecting the prince is the highest priority."
The boar also charged at them.
Relf took out his blue sword. He was a water elemental knight.
With the sword he charged toward the boar to have a head-to-head battle.
With all this madness, no one saw that the 6-year-old prince had a maniacal smile on his face. He was enjoying this scene. He was learning magic from everyone.
He had super high prehension. Just by watching the magic casting, he could prehend the diagram. Though he couldn’t use other elemental magic, he could include them into his arsenal and use raw mana to recreate those magics.
