Ethan led lissa to his room.
Rose was cutting so fruits in the room when Ethan entered. When she saw Ethan coming back, she asked, "Where did you go so hurriedly? Did sothing happen?"
Ethan smiled wryly. Then he said, "Rose, we have a guest."
Rose stood up. The smile on Ethan’s face was telling her sothing was bad.
Then lissa entered the room and said, "I am lissa Doombringer."
Ethan was speechless that soone’s na could be sothing like this. But he still introduced himself, "I am Ethan Hunt. This is my girlfriend, Rose."
When Rose saw Ethan being so polite, she understood instantly — this woman should be a big deal. So she bowed and greeted her too.
Ethan said,"Please sit miss lissa."
lissa sat down opposite to Ethan and Rose.
lissa looked at them and said, "Then let’s get to the business. You know how powerful I am. So I’ll ask, you’ll answer, or else.."
She was still pissed for the previous event. So she wanted to suppress Ethan and gain the information she needed, but what she didn’t expect was that this dude was not a regular strong street boy.
Ethan didn’t react to her threat. He smiled at Rose and said, "Can you please bring so tea for our guest?"
Rose got the hint and imdiately stood up and went away.
Ethan said, "Oh I see. Miss lissa, you seem to have so misconception about . You see, I know how powerful you are. But I don’t give a damn about you, if you think that might help. And one more thing, as powerful as you are, there was still invasion from the demon realm, and you didn’t do shit about that. So you are not sothing of a big deal."
Instantly, horrendous power surged up from lissa. Her eyes turned cold. She wrapped Ethan with her energy, her hair was floating in the air. She was now in her battle form — the Doombringer form — where she was wearing a royal battle armor. Anybody would piss their pants if they saw her in this form. Though she was angry, she didn’t let her power gush out unconditionally — that would destroy the whole world of the Ancients.
But Ethan could very much tell that if she snapped her finger right now, he would turn into dust. No atom would be left for regeneration.
lissa said coldly, "Boy, do you dare to say what you said again?"
Ethan contacted his system.
"I think I am in a fucked-up situation. Do you know any solution?"
[Sigh, Master. As usual. Why would you run that mouth of yours when you are totally out of league here?]
Ethan snorted in his mind.
"So should I let her threaten then? No way in hell. I’d rather die today."
[Okay, okay. You have an option. You can activate one of the system’s three protocols. ’The Descent of the Chaos Ruler.’ But rember, you can use this form for 30 minutes only in your entire life. So you need to choose wisely when and how long you want to use it.]
"Oh? Would I beco even stronger than this woman then?"
[This woman is a Tier 8 existence. The Chaos Ruler is a Tier 17 existence.]
Ethan’s eyes widened. Damn! Damn! Damn!
He could possess the power of a Tier 17 existence for 30 minutes? Holy shit! How powerful is this Chaos Ruler form? You should know the Universe Supre in Ethan’s universe was a Tier 7 existence. And the system seed to say there are three protocols. Is there even a stronger version of the Chaos Ruler there?
His heart was beating like a drum. He was excited to the extre. He didn’t need to fear anyone anymore. Thirty minutes was enough to destroy everything in existence for a being like a Tier 17 lifeform.
Even the "Ender," which was sleeping in the sun right now, was a Tier 10 lifeform at most.
When lissa saw Ethan’s heart beating violently, his eyes wide open, she felt satisfied. This was the reaction she was expecting. But if she really knew the true reason for Ethan’s reaction, she might have been frightened out of her wits.
She didn’t co here to kill Ethan. Her master said Ethan could be an important chess piece in the upcoming apocalypse. But she wouldn’t tolerate disrespect from a lowly lifeform.
Ethan’s eyes suddenly turned cold. He looked at lissa with indifference in those eyes, even when he was suffocating from the trendous pressure.
Ethan didn’t want to use a nuclear bomb to kill a mosquito, but if the situation got out of hand, he would need to use that nuclear bomb. Besides, he could decide how long to use that form. It was not like once you activated that form, you would need to use it for 30 minutes continuously and it would be gone.
Even if he activated the Chaos Ruler form, he would take a nanosecond to erase this woman out of existence. There wouldn’t be much loss.
But Ethan could tell she was just trying to intimidate him, not kill him. So he started counting from 10 to 1 in his mind. If she didn’t retract her pressure by then, she would be gone. This was the mont Ethan decided to kill her. His eyes turned indifferent toward her.
When lissa saw that look, a chill ran down her spine. She imdiately retracted her aura. She felt the threat of death from this boy of unknown origin. Even her master didn’t give her this level of threat. What was going on?
She was sweating buckets instantly. She looked at Ethan with horror in her eyes.
She was a pinnacle existence in this universe. Not even those seven cardinal demons of sin could fight with her in a one-on-one battle. Only her master could kill her.
But now, a little boy from a backwater sect was giving her a threat so vast that lissa felt suffocated.
It was not like Ethan activated that form or anything. He just confird that he would kill her. In the grand scale of existencial law, weaker creatures always could tell when they are vastly outmatched.
So the mont he decided to activate the form of Chaos Ruler, he beca the predator, and lissa beca the prey. So her sixth sense imdiately sent her the danger alert.
And you know what happened after that.
Ethan stood up from his seat, slightly wiped so dust from his clothes, and smiled at her.
"Shall we talk like proper humans now, Miss lissa?"
lissa felt that the threat was gone and Ethan beca a normal person again.
No wonder her master could not see through this boy. He couldn’t be from this universe. He was a monster who could swallow this entire universe and wouldn’t even make a sound.
Her heart was still beating.
If Ethan knew that lissa just tagged him with a super monster title, he would surely beco speechless.
"You are the monster, your entire family is monster." This is what he would probably say.
lissa then ca in front of Ethan and bowed, "Mr. Hunt. Please don’t take offence. I am not an enemy. I am here on the order of my master, Elyndros Niharym, the only supre tier existence in this univer..." Then she looked at Ethan and stopped saying that.
Ethan was intrigued.
