So he started walking toward the karmic connection.

He was trying to hide his presence, after all, the master of this world was a 9th-dinsional being.

He couldn’t even imagine how powerful those beings were.

The karmic connection was coming from far away. So before going there, he was going to need information about this world.

So he went inside a library to read books.

As he appeared at the door of the library, it started scanning him. After finding no problem with his genetic code, it demanded 1000 Coins.

Ethan was astonished. This world looked very ancient, but it had super high-tech technologies.

Besides, he didn’t have any money. He could either rob soone, sell his treasures, or try to ask people.

There was no one around the library; it functioned fully automatically.

So he started searching for people, and soon he found one.

"Hello sir, can you tell where I can find a job or earn money?"

The man was middle-aged. He looked at Ethan for so ti.

"You are quite old. How do you not know this basic information? Have you been living under rocks?"

Ethan was embarrassed and angry. Maybe he should rob this bastard after all.

But he kept a smile on his face and said again,

"You see, I was being trained from a very young age, so I didn’t interact with the outside world. It would be helpful for if you could give so information."

He could sell treasures, but he was not sure if those outside treasures would alert the world master or not. He didn’t want to take any chance against a ninth-dinsional being.

Maybe the system wouldn’t even be able to protect him then.

"You can beco a hunter if you want to beco rich and influential quickly, but for that, you will have to be awakened first. If not, you can always do small jobs in the guild by registering as an adventurer."

After talking to him for a while, the man left.

Ethan learned so valuable information. There were two types of jobs: Hunter and Adventurer.

Hunters were the top dogs of this world. They had the highest honor as they had to possess a specific talent to beco one.

As for adventurers, anyone could beco one. But most of them were bottom-tier characters.

However, there were powerful adventurers who were excellent at martial arts.

Martial arts were created for the common people to stand up against hunters and other enemies.

As for getting a normal job, that was not possible unless he had a good reputation in the adventurer guild.

This place was called the Dungeon City. There were 5 big dungeons in the city with 100 floors each.

Only S-ranked and above adventurers could go beyond level 30.

As for hunters, they could go anywhere in the dungeon as long as they didn’t bla anyone if they were injured.

Ethan didn’t want attention right now. He was afraid that if he went through the awakening process, he would surely awaken sothing monstrous, which would make things difficult for him.

He was facing a problem of having too much genetic potential.

"Let’s register as an adventurer first. Then I will figure out my next move," he thought in his mind.

The adventurer guild was huge.

Ethan entered through the door and saw many people coming and going. So were eating, so were chatting, and so were looking for party mbers to go on a dungeon hunt.

It was a lively environnt.

He went to the receptionist directly.

"Hello, I would like to register as an adventurer."

The pretty woman looked at him and was stunned. The young man was very handso, but he was not attracting any attention. That was odd.

"Sure, fill out this form and you are good to go."

The registration went smoothly. He got an E-ranked card.

Now he would have to do missions to level up his rank. If he could enter the S rank, he would be treated as well as a newly awakened hunter.

E-ranked adventurers could only go to level 2 of the dungeon, not more than that. And without a pass, they couldn’t go to the deeper levels.

Ethan took a job for E-ranked adventurers; it was to gather so special herbs from the second level of the northern dungeon.

He accepted the job and went to the north region of the city.

The dungeon gate was heavily guarded by many guards. They were always alert about any dungeon break or sothing like that.

Ethan showed them his pass and entered the dungeon. He directly went to the 2nd level. There were so skeleton monsters on the first level, but Ethan was not interested in them.

On the second floor, he saw goblins there. So he hunted down so and collected their cores.

Then he gathered the herbs required for the quest.

The quest was very low-level. If he kept doing this kind of small work, it would take him around 30 jobs to make 1000 coins.

The coins were really expensive. He completed his job and was about to co out from the dungeon when he saw a huge crowd coming toward it.

Soone was coming on the back of a monster horse, whereas everyone else was walking on their feet.

Ethan went outside and beca invisible in front of them.

"Our prince has awakened as a hunter. He will surely beco the crown prince, as there are no other princes who have beco hunters. We are lucky to be his followers."

Ethan stopped upon seeing this prince because he felt the sa karmic connection from this young man too. But it was rather faint.

"He is related to the person who has a karmic connection with ," he muttered under his breath and looked at the prince one last ti before departing.

He needed to hand over these materials to get another job and earn money as soon as possible.

Ethan started sweeping through the E-ranked jobs like no one’s business. He took 10 jobs at once.

After completing all the jobs and hunting so more monsters, Ethan finally had the money to enter the library.

He didn’t waste any ti and went to the library.

These 1000 coins would give him 1-month permission to co and read books.

There were millions of books here, but Ethan didn’t need to read all of them—just the history and geography books would do.

After reading for an hour, he finally gathered the information he needed.

This world was called Vel’Thara. There were 4 races residing in the world.

Human race, Dragon race, Demon race, and Elven race.

These four were the major races. There were so minor races too, like demi-humans and beast folks.

This planet had 4 continents where the four major races lived. The minor races didn’t have their own continent and lived in these four as slaves or workers.

The human continent had 5 million empires and a Capital Continental City.

Ethan saw the map too. His karmic connection was coming from one of the minor kingdoms of the Zyra Empire.

After confirming his destination, he directly started his journey toward the Moon Kingdom.
