"What happened out there?" Ethan asked with a hint of surprise in his tone.
He had not done anything yet to make those rulers his enemies, so why would they want to attack him?
"Young master, the dark creature we took in was the property of a dark god outside. That god is stronger than all the other gods. It demanded that the other gods retrieve it from us, or else it would destroy this planet."
Ragnarok gave him a brief explanation of the situation outside.
"Is that so? How powerful is the dark god?" Ethan wanted to know whether he could battle it or not.
"The dark god is a 35th dinsional being, and the other gods are significantly weaker than him," Ragnarok said politely.
"Then he is out of my league. And these gods do not have any relation with us. So why should we care? It is not like we know which party is actually the good one." Ethan was not very interested in a battle outside where he could not even join the fun.
"You are right, young master. Those gods are just a bunch of hypocrites. They only help their own followers. Even among the followers, they bless them in levels, clearly creating a social hierarchy." Ragnarok spoke with disdain on his face.
"Then we are good. Let them solve their own situation. I do not have ti for them. But if you feel compassionate toward them, you can go out and help. Anyway, I cannot help even if I wanted to. And that dark creature is mine. I will not return it."
Ethan now wanted to alter the patterns of that magnificent dark creature, now that he could do it.
With that creature he would go outside on it’s back and that would look very cool. At least that his wish.
Just as he was about to enter his cultivation session again, he heard the voices of the gods outside.

As soon as the voice sounded, everyone saw the barrier split open and a huge hand erge from it.
The hand continued to grow larger and larger until its size surpassed the entire planet.
With a single grabbing motion, the hand caught the nine commander class dark apostles as if catching bugs.
Then the hand clenched into a fist.
Inside it, the nine dark apostles were crushed like insects.
Noer instantly felt his connection with his apostles vanish, as if they had never existed in the first place.
"Dark god Noer, I will give you a chance. Leave this universe and never co back. Or you can beco my servant as well. This hand belongs to my servant, not . And there is a third option. You can try to co back for revenge and die like them.

Ethan gave him choices because he liked this dark god fellow. He could create cool creatures. A very creative person.
