"Did you do anything else?" Leng Ruobing continued to ask.
Seeing Leng Ruobing’s expression, Xiao Zheng imdiately confird that she must have found out he had been out with Liu Han Yan earlier. Luckily, he had told the truth; otherwise, he didn’t know how she would react.
But what Xiao Zheng didn’t expect was that even after telling the truth, Leng Ruobing’s face remained icy cold to the extre.
"I didn’t do anything else," Xiao Zheng said, looking innocent.

With no other options, Xiao Zheng returned to his bedroom. Noticing he reeked of alcohol, he decided to wash up before sleeping. But as soon as he reached the bathroom, his expression changed slightly.

Even though he knew she wouldn’t believe him even if he explained, if he said nothing, the misunderstanding would never be cleared.
With no other choice, Xiao Zheng went to Leng Ruobing’s room again, knocking on the door and saying, "Open the door and let explain."
There was still no response from inside, and it was obvious she was very angry, giving him no chance to explain.
