"Roberts."
Amidst the silence of the elders, the one sitting on the throne finally spoke slowly. Roberts’ expression imdiately hardened. His brother was no ordinary person; he was a terrifying existence that could rival the most powerful Netherworld King Hades among the Blood Clan.
"Have you not yet realized your mistake?" Rob III said flatly, his voice devoid of any discernable emotion.
Roberts was silent for a mont and then said, "Perhaps I am wrong, but if this happened again, I would still do the sa."
The elders were instantly in an uproar.
"How dare you speak to the King in such a tone?"
"You dare defy the King!"
"Roberts, you have gone too far."
"..."
All the elders reproached him angrily. In the Werewolf Clan, Rob III held the highest authority.
Roberts coldly smiled. He had long been impatient with these elders, so he ignored them.
On the throne, Rob III raised an eyebrow slightly, seemingly a bit surprised. Then, a smile appeared on his lips as he said, "As expected of my brother, you did well and showed great character."
"Hmm?"
Hearing this, all the elders were stunned, and Roberts was also slightly taken aback. Since when did his brother beco so affable?
Rob III just said blandly, "You have toiled selflessly for the Werewolf Clan, many tis placing yourself in danger, and I’ve seen all of this. Your release of the Evil God out of gratitude is sothing I also admire. These qualities of yours are precious and deserving of learning from by all of us."
The elders were even more baffled when they heard this. This script was not right. Previously, when the news reached Rob III, it was said that he had shattered one of his beloved cups!
Rob III was soone very introspective and rarely showed his emotions. For him to be so emotionally agitated as to break a cup indicated his anger!
Roberts was also stunned, and for a mont, felt quite flattered. He had never before been praised by his brother like this.
"But ah..."
Suddenly, after speaking, Rob III sighed lightly, "A mistake is, after all, a mistake. And, brother, do you realize how grave your mistake is?"
Rob III’s gaze turned a touch sharper, "The Evil God coming to Europe, I was aware of it early on. Do you know why he ca here? To search for the Golden Bone."
"And I have the Golden Bone in my possession!"
"Therefore, there is destined to be a battle between us, a battle of life and death."
"Even with the Werewolf Clan’s great prestige, it would be disastrous to wage war on the Sky Net led by the Evil God. Each life of my people is precious, so I allowed the battle between the Evil God and vampires to unfold, intending to resolve this threat in the most straightforward manner after they are both weakened."
At this point, Rob III paused and sighed lightly, "But brother, you ruined all of this. Do you know that by releasing the Evil God, you have hard our entire Werewolf Clan!"
Rob III’s gaze bore into Roberts, "Can you bear all this?"
The elders, upon hearing this, suddenly realized that Rob III had such a grand plan to easily resolve the future threat to the Werewolf Clan, but Roberts had destroyed it.
All the elders glared angrily at Roberts, and even those who previously had no opinion of him now looked at him with disgust and hatred.
"Heh heh..."
Roberts laughed, with a hint of sarcasm, "As expected of my brother, as expected of the King of the Werewolf Clan."
Roberts knew Rob III well, he was an ambitious individual. The words he spoke were ant to be heard, and believing them would be foolish.
The Werewolf Clan, a mysterious and powerful species, could not be easily invaded by Sky Net. Furthermore, since its inception, Sky Net had adhered to a principle of non-aggression barring provocation, never initiating conflicts. Hence, Rob III’s words were nothing more than alarmist.
His true purpose was rely the Golden Bone from Xiao Zheng, all for his own power gain.
These statents were more severe than the elders’ previous accusations, leaving Roberts with almost no recourse, nearly a death sentence.
If confird, it would amount to a cri of endangering the clan, a cri of betrayal!
Even though they were half-brothers, Roberts never imagined that Rob III could be so ruthless!
Seeing the discontent on Roberts’ face, Rob III said casually, "What, do you disagree?"
At this point, arguing any more was pointless. Being a hybrid, he wasn’t particularly well-liked in the Werewolf Clan, so Roberts didn’t bother to say more. He raised his chin defiantly.
"Do what you will, I have no objections."
The elders were very angry at Roberts’ disrespectful attitude, "Standing before you is our King. Show so respect!"
Roberts just coldly chuckled.
Rob III frowned slightly, then waved a hand, "Enough, guards, take Roberts to the Blood Prison, let him reflect properly."
Even the elders’ expressions changed slightly at this.
The Blood Prison is the place all werewolves fear the most.
The Blood Prison is where the Werewolf Clan’s worst criminals are held, an extrely harsh environnt filled with a bloodthirsty aura that keeps one in extre pain, worse than death.
Roberts was unfazed, "Just imprison !"
Before long, several people in armor, holding long-handled axes and with impassive, stern expressions, took Roberts away.
The hall returned to calm. Rob III glanced at the elders, "Roberts has been punished, but this matter isn’t over. If the vampires acquire the Golden Bone, their strength will grow significantly, posing a threat to us werewolves, so we must obtain the Golden Bone from the Evil God’s hands."
"Don’t leave tonight, stay here, and let’s think of a way to capture that Evil God."
As Rob III spoke, he looked into the distance, his gaze appearing to pierce through space towards the Evil God, a cold smile on his lips.
"Evil God, since you’ve walked into the trap by coming to Europe, you won’t leave without the Golden Bone."
