Ganggudar was clearly a very perceptive "ferocious beast." Knowing it couldn’t defeat Xiao Zheng and the lady in red, it obediently followed their orders and led them on their search for the Blood Essence Fruit.
Xiao Zheng laughed, "I didn’t expect this secret realm trip would be going so smoothly."
The lady in red nodded.
As they ventured deeper, Xiao Zheng noticed the surrounding atmosphere was becoming increasingly blood-red. In so places, it was so dark it looked black, causing a slight feeling of unease in his heart; the way ahead seed ever more dangerous.
However, Xiao Zheng wasn’t the type to fear danger, so he pressed that little bit of unease deep within his heart.
Soon, Ganggudar led them to a forest and stopped there, pointing a tentacle toward it, indicating the Blood Essence Fruit was inside.
Xiao Zheng said, "Lead us inside."
Fear flashed through Ganggudar’s eyes, and it shook its head violently, its body trembling.
Xiao Zheng noticed this and beca slightly wary. Could there be sothing extrely terrifying in this forest?
The lady in red gave Ganggudar a glance, "Lead the way, or you die now."
Ganggudar shivered; the lady in red’s threat was far more effective than the horror within the forest. After hesitating for a while, it summoned its courage and began walking into the forest, though it moved extrely hesitantly, taking three steps forward only to retreat one step. Sotis, it would panic so much that it bumped into a tree, causing it to shake vigorously.
Xiao Zheng frowned slightly and asked, "What exactly is in this forest?"
The lady in red shook her head, "I don’t know. But whatever it is, we’ll go and see first. It might be so Blood Clan beast, and capturing it would be an unexpected reward."
Xiao Zheng smiled wryly; but that’s just the confidence that cos with skill. Even if he wasn’t as powerful as the lady in red, his courage was no less lacking, so he steadily stepped deeper into the forest to explore.
After walking so one to two thousand ters, the trees around them grew larger, their massive canopies blocking out the sky, making it very dark with flickering dark red hues everywhere.

A chilling wind blew from an unknown origin, rustling through the trees, making the leaves rustle and sending a chill onto their bodies, making the environnt appear even more eerie and sinister.
The feeling was like stepping closer and closer to Hell!
At this point, Ganggudar refused to go any further, trembling to the extre. Not even the threat of death from the lady in red could make Ganggudar move forward; instead, it lay down on the ground like a pig unafraid of boiling water.
Xiao Zheng was amused, kicking Ganggudar, "This lazy beast!" then looked toward the forest depths, saying, "I think we’re not far from the Blood Essence Fruit now. Let’s head straight in."
"Alright," said the lady in red, stepping further into the forest.
Xiao Zheng followed. As for Ganggudar, given its contribution in leading them here, they spared it further hassle. After the two left, Ganggudar scrambled to its feet and fled like the wind, rushing out of the forest.
Seeing itself about to break free of the forest, joy filled its eyes. But just ters from the forest’s edge, suddenly, branches extended from the surrounding trees like whips, tightly binding Ganggudar.
Terrified, Ganggudar opened its mouth to scream, but a thick branch imdiately thrust into its mouth and out the back of its head, stifling its roar.
Ganggudar had strong vitality; even in this state, it wasn’t dead yet, but was tightly wrapped in a web of branches, struggling like mad. However, it was to no avail as the branches tightened more and more.
Eventually, silently, Ganggudar was wrapped up like a bundled zongzi, then with a pull, it was drawn into the canopy’s depths, followed by a series of chewing sounds.
Thick blood dripped from above, flowing down the trunk, staining the ground and adding a bloody and terrifying aura to the area.
After a while, bang, a huge object fell down, the branches spread open and returned to their original positions, revealing the contents within.
A skeleton!
What happened there was far from where Xiao Zheng and the lady in red were, so they felt nothing and continued deeper until they ca upon a clearing!
This clearing was very special, spanning thousands of square ters in the forest, without a single weed; only at the very center a small tree grew.
The small tree wasn’t tall, rely three feet high, but every part of it was crystal clear, shimring with red light, as if carved from red agate, a dazzling spectacle to behold.
On the small tree, three fruits hung, bright red and translucent, hanging from delicate branches, exuding a seductive fragrance.
Even Xiao Zheng and the lady in red felt sowhat intoxicated by this scent, showing a hint of loss of control in their eyes!
Xiao Zheng abruptly snapped himself awake, looking at the little red fruits with a hint of caution, "Is this the Blood Essence Fruit?" Sothing that could make his otherwise resolute mind slightly disoriented was very rare. Apparently, only an item as legendary as the Blood Essence Fruit.
The lady in red’s voice couldn’t conceal her excitent, "Yes. I have seen images of the Blood Essence Fruit, and this is identical to the ones on this small tree. As long as we can pick them, we’ll be able to open the Ancient Blood Pool and transform ourselves."

The lady in red glanced at Xiao Zheng, "Being pretentious. We’ll use it together when the ti cos."
Xiao Zheng’s mouth twitched; this was the first ti soone called him pretentious, feeling embarrassed and angry, "I’m a wild and rough man; pretentious is a term for won!"
"Hmph."
The lady in red snorted with derision.
