The next morning, Xiao Zheng followed Yuan Hao into town to buy supplies. Yuan Hao was very excited and had woken up early.
"Sister, let’s go!"
He, who was usually lethargic, was the first to rise and urged his sister to leave early. It seed he was impatient for the snacks.
"Be safe on the road and co back early," their grandfather, draped in a coat, stood at the door, reminding them.

The three of them set off. Throughout the journey, Yuan Hao was so impatient that he bounced around. Yuan Yin tried many tis to calm him down, but this boy was too excited, leaving Xiao Zheng and Yuan Ying helplessly watching him.
Even though the journey was long, Yuan Hao didn’t feel tired at all and remained energetic the whole way.
After spending over an hour on the road, they quickly entered the town. As soon as they entered, the calls of street vendors filled their ears, creating a lively atmosphere.
Yuan Hao was so excited that he ran up and down the street, and Yuan Ying couldn’t stop her brother. With a chuckle, she let him play, as such opportunities were rare, and it was nice to see him so happy.
They had visited here many tis and were very familiar with it, managing to buy what they needed in a short ti and getting ready to head ho.
Though Yuan Hao was a bit reluctant to leave, once Yuan Ying placed his favorite snacks before him, his face instantly lit up with a broad smile.
Just as they were about to leave, suddenly, a dark figure blocked their path.
"Well, isn’t this the Yuan family’s daughter? How co you’re here again today without letting your brother know, so I could host you properly!"
A piercing voice rang in their ears, instantly turning Yuan Ying’s face pale, and Yuan Hao’s eyes changed. He threw away his snacks and clung closely to his sister’s back.
A young man appeared before them; although he was sowhat handso, the sinister gleam in his eyes revealed his ill intentions.
Xiao Zheng furrowed his brow slightly and stood in front of Yuan Ying and Yuan Hao, his eyes coldly fixed on the people before them.
By now, a crowd had gathered nearby, taking shelter on both sides of the street, discussing the situation.
"That’s the Second Young Master Tang. With his notorious deeds, I wonder who might be the girl he’s targeting today. What a pity for that girl!" an old lady said sorrowfully.
The Tang Family was the most powerful in this town, and the Second Young Master Tang was renowned for his misdeeds, notorious for oppressing others. He had harassed nearly every girl with a bit of beauty in town!
Nowadays, every family with girls would send them out of town, fearing an encounter with this brute.

People around shook their heads and sighed over the Tang family’s actions, yet felt helpless. The Tang family’s influence was monuntal; no one who dared provoke them t a favorable outco.
"Oh, there’s even a bodyguard!" Second Young Master Tang sneered at Xiao Zheng dismissively.
"Please step aside," Xiao Zheng replied coldly, making Yuan Ying’s face change as she tugged on Xiao Zheng’s sleeve.
"This has nothing to do with you, please leave," Yuan Ying gestured desperately to Xiao Zheng.
Her face was filled with urgency.
"I won’t leave. Today, I must handle this," Xiao Zheng said firmly.
Although he lost all mories, he understood the need to repay a life-saving grace. Yuan Ying and Yuan Hao had saved his life; if he couldn’t stand up for them now, could he still call himself a man?
Furthermore, he believed whether it was his past self or his present self, faced with such a scenario, would have stood up bravely!
Seeing this, the second young master of the Tang family displayed an even more playful expression, sneering at Xiao Zheng while saying sarcastically: "So that’s why Little Sister Yuan hasn’t looked for recently; she’s got a suitor now.

He happened upon Yuan family’s little girl today, putting him in a great mood. He didn’t want anything else to ruin rare good spirits.
"Please move aside, we’re leaving," Xiao Zheng’s expression didn’t change as he spoke calmly.

Second Young Master Tang’s face slightly darkened, emitting a cold snort, "Do you all see this? It’s as if I haven’t been around lately, and now any riff-raff dares to ddle in my affairs!"
Seeing the Second Young Master Tang behaving this way, fear gripped Yuan Ying’s face as she rushed in front of Xiao Zheng, pushing him away.
"Leave quickly! Don’t mind !"
Yuan Ying couldn’t speak but gestured frantically to Xiao Zheng, while Yuan Hao was on the verge of tears. He had encountered this second young master many tis before, and with their grandfather now absent, his sister was at risk!

The onlooking passersby shook their heads in disapproval, saying, "Where did this young man co from? Too bold to defy Second Young Master Tang?"
"Indeed, whose kid is this, running around recklessly? Today, he’s upset Second Young Master Tang; it seems things won’t be settled easily, this young man is done for," soone sighed.

A servant murmured beside her, "Right, last ti at the restaurant, he broke a guest’s leg just because he disliked him!"
