Legus is dead.
His head was stomped into a pulpy ss by Xiao Zheng’s foot.
The scattered red and white matter was enough to make even the Blood Clan experts, who lived off blood food, feel nauseous and queasy at the sight. Of course, the predominant emotion among them now was fear.

With a chuckle, Xiao Zheng tossed Catherine into the backseat and drove the Maserati slowly towards town. Having rescued Catherine, he was in a very good mood.
Playing music from the speaker, he nearly wanted to race the car in celebration.
Soon, the car parked at the town lodge.
Upon entering with Catherine, the commotion startled the sleeping innkeeper on the ground floor. Groggy, the innkeeper grabbed his shotgun and rushed out, pausing upon recognizing Xiao Zheng.
Seeing Catherine in his arms, the innkeeper showed an expression of admiration.

Complaining, Xiao Zheng tossed Catherine onto the bed.
