"What on earth is this Ancestor Statue?"
Xiao Zheng tightly grasped the statue in his palm, feeling as if he were holding a scalding lump of lava.
He then released his hand, allowing wisps of evil aura to instantly emanate from the Ancestor Statue.
To avoid waking Su Zimo, Xiao Zheng rose and left the bedroom without hesitation. He was the only one in the vast living room now. As for the Ancestor Statue, he placed it on the coffee table.
This is a vampire sculpture made from a very special material.
It’s sowhat tallic, yet also sowhat like stone.
Xiao Zheng attempted to expel the evil aura, but every ti he drove away the aura attached to the statue’s surface, new wisps of evil aura seeped out. Gradually, as more aura was released, the originally gray statue slowly turned dark red.
This dark red shade was eerie, as if it had been steeped in blood for a long ti.
Xiao Zheng was certain that if an ordinary person glanced at the statue now, they would definitely be bewitched. More severe cases might even beco an idiot directly.
"I wonder what would happen if I crushed this statue."
A bizarre thought suddenly erged in Xiao Zheng’s mind.
This thought seed to have taken root in his mind, refusing to leave.
After hesitating for a mont, Xiao Zheng finally gripped the Ancestor Statue again. He then began to exert pressure with his fingers, and upon realizing the statue’s sturdiness, he increased the force.
The force he was using now could definitely snap a steel pipe, yet the Ancestor Statue remained intact.
"Heh! What a temper I have!"
"I refuse to believe it. I’m the mighty Evil God, and I still can’t deal with you, this wretched statue!"
Gritting his teeth, Xiao Zheng unleashed his full strength.
Finally, he could distinctly feel that, under the crushing force, the statue began to change slightly. It first emitted a sound akin to shattering, then a wisp of black aura swiftly escaped through the statue’s crack, entering his body.
"What’s going on?"
With the black aura entering his body, Xiao Zheng could clearly sense a subtle improvent in his realm.
As for the dark red hue on the statue, it seed much dimr now.
It was as if the statue were sick, its face suddenly paling, giving Xiao Zheng the sa impression.
"Rember, that guy nad Legus once said that the Ancestor Soul of their Mode family slumbers inside this Ancestor Statue. Could the black aura I just absorbed be the soul power of this Mode family’s Ancestor?"
"Otherwise, why would the statue’s evil aura weaken so much all of a sudden? And why would my cultivation improve?"
Xiao Zheng grew increasingly pleased as he looked at the statue in his hand.
If his conjecture was correct, then this Ancestor Statue would definitely be a treasure. If he could continue to absorb the Ancestor Soul sleeping within, his realm would keep advancing.
"I think I should soon break through to the Supre Realm!"
Xiao Zheng felt sowhat excited, wishing passionately to plant a few kisses on the Ancestor Statue.
And at this mont, he discovered sothing else.
The part of the statue he had just crushed was bizarrely healing. It took around two to three minutes, and the crack was no longer visible.
Once the crack healed, the statue’s aura grew dense again.
Although it wasn’t as strong as it initially was, it was much better than before.
"This Ancestor Statue is indeed a marvelous treasure. It even has self-healing capabilities."
"That guy nad Legus is practically family to ."
Xiao Zheng hung the necklace holding the Ancestor Statue around his neck, feeling incredibly delighted. He almost felt like singing, were it not for the fear of waking Su Zimo, who was asleep in the bedroom.
Feeling a bit excited, Xiao Zheng went to the bathroom for a shower, finally calming down.
Looking at Su Zimo, who was sleeping beside him, he gently kissed her cheek and then drifted into a smiling slumber.
Upon waking, it was already daylight.
When Xiao Zheng opened his eyes, he found that Su Zimo had risen earlier than him, and she was now nestled in his embrace, her autumn-like eyes fixed attentively on him.
Xiao Zheng was a bit overwheld, gently patting her smooth rear: "What are you staring at? Not getting up in the morning but lying here watching . It’s good my courage is strong; otherwise, soone else would be scared to death by you."
"You’re awake." Su Zimo suddenly smiled and said, "I just wanted to look at you more because you’ll be leaving soon. I don’t know when we’ll et again, so I want to make the most of it."
"After hearing your words, I suddenly feel deeply sinful," Xiao Zheng sighed, saying, "I’m sorry, it’s my fault for being too handso, making you so infatuated."
Su Zimo couldn’t help but laugh, her face blushing as she said, "It’s okay. I chose this willingly."
Hearing her words, Xiao Zheng couldn’t help but shiver.
Su Zimo’s declaration of "I chose this willingly" proved quite testing for him.
If it weren’t just before checkout ti, Xiao Zheng would’ve had the impulse to push her down: "Stop lounging; get up quickly. It’s almost noon, let’s find a place to eat."
"Alright," Su Zimo agreed with a smile.
The two then prepared to get up.
As Su Zimo erged from the covers, Xiao Zheng’s eyes almost popped out. Apparently, her bathrobe had loosened during sleep, revealing much of her inviting form.
Su Zimo seed to notice sothing, her cheeks instantly turning hot.
Yet she didn’t tighten her bathrobe, instead acting as if unaware of any wardrobe issue, proceeding straight into the bathroom before Xiao Zheng. Especially when she turned to close the door, her elegance stirred Xiao Zheng’s blood.
He recited Calming Incantation dozens of tis before suppressing his inner excitent.
Once they had changed clothes, the pair linked arms and exited the hotel.
As soon as they hit the streets, Xiao Zheng’s phone rang. Intrigued, Su Zimo glanced at his phone screen and then burst into laughter, as the caller was Su Ziwen.
Obviously, Su Ziwen had already received news of Xiao Zheng’s arrival in Paris.
