In the days that followed, life slowly returned to its usual peace.
On Monday, since there was nothing much to do, Leng Ruobing didn’t go to work but stayed ho with Xiao Zheng to enjoy their rare ti alone. As for Chu Xiaoran, she had to go to the film set all by herself.
It would take her at least three days before she could co ho.
Xiao Zheng spent the entire day at ho with Leng Ruobing, but by Tuesday, his good days were over. Since there was another eting at Qianqiu Group, Leng Ruobing had to return to the company.
Naturally, Xiao Zheng wouldn’t let her go out alone, so he had to go to work with her.

Upon hearing his words, Mo Anna couldn’t help but roll her eyes at him, saying, "You dare say you’re busy? Can you be busier than ? I’ve practically been managing everything in the company by myself."

"I don’t care, you must give a raise."

"Keep dreaming!" Mo Anna rolled her eyes at him and swatted away the hand that was being naughty on her waist, "I warn you, without my permission, you can only benefit in future, and not the other way around, got it?"
Hearing her, Xiao Zheng helplessly said: "Who’s ever heard of such a one-sided deal? Besides, I’m here to show my talent, not to sell my body. Don’t try to force the issue."

Upon hearing his words, Mo Anna couldn’t bear to tease him anymore and said: "In my heart, you’re the most handso man in the world. But this actor is quite talented, he’s a rising star,
his na is Cheng Ziwei. He recently won the Golden Dragon Award for Best Newcor, pretty much the current hot topic."
Although Xiao Zheng wasn’t much into the entertainnt industry, he had heard of the na: "If that’s the case, I might as well tag along later. It’s not like I have anything else to do in the office, might as well co with you to take a look."
"Alright, if you wish to co, I certainly won’t object." Mo Anna checked the ti and then said, "I arranged to et with Cheng Ziwei’s manager at half-past ten, just keep an eye on the ti and co find in the small conference room."
"Okay, see you later." Xiao Zheng said with a smile.
Mo Anna then gave him a light peck on the cheek before swaying her hips as she walked out of his office.
After she left, Xiao Zheng continued playing Minesweeper.
Around half-past ten, he turned off the ga and prepared to head to the small conference room. The small conference room was on the eighteenth floor, usually used for departntal etings.
Although Xiao Zheng hadn’t attended many etings, he knew where the small conference room was located.
Along the way, many people recognized his identity.
Ever since it was known that Xiao Zheng was the man behind the scenes, who personally dealt with the Great White Shark, the company’s staff held him in great awe. As he stepped out of the elevator, everyone greeted him with respect.
Such an attitude from everyone made Xiao Zheng feel quite uneasy.
But there was nothing he could do to change it. Given his status, even if he deliberately tried to appear approachable, no one would dare treat him as an equal.
As Xiao Zheng reached the door to the small conference room, he saw two people approaching from a distance.
A man and a woman—it turned out to be Cheng Ziwei and his manager.
Seeing Cheng Ziwei inside the company left Xiao Zheng montarily stunned. He still hadn’t figured out who Cheng Ziwei was.
As for Cheng Ziwei, upon seeing him, he also stood frozen in place.
