The legend of the Frozen Cave exists only among the eight ancestors of the Blood Clan.
Apart from these eight, no ninth person knows of the cave’s existence.
Although Hades succeeded to the throne of the Netherworld King, she also was unaware of the legend of the Frozen Cave. However, even so, when she turned and saw that pitch-black cave entrance, a tinge of unease surfaced in her heart.
"They must not succeed!"
A glint of murderous intent flashed in Hades’ eyes.
She imdiately attacked Lancelot and Noah, who were closest to her, intending to eliminate them first to escape peril. Her sudden outburst caught Lancelot and Noah off guard.
In just the blink of an eye, they both suffered severe injuries!
Hades unleashed her full power, and the terrifying force she wielded was unstoppable. Even Lancelot and Noah, at their peak strength, couldn’t withstand it.
The two scread miserably; half their bodies were directly blown to pieces!
Flesh and blood scattered, even the souls residing within their bodies were nearly obliterated! Even if they could recover in the future, their strength would certainly be greatly affected!
However, Lancelot and Noah were worthy as forr kings.
In this dire situation, they too exhibited remarkable strength.
The two made a desperate final strike, teaming up with Morren, and managed to critically wound Hades. In Hades’ abdon, a massive penetrating wound was clearly visible!
It was as if shot by a bullet; through the wound, one could see right through to the other side!
"It’s all over!"
"Hades, I told you long ago, the final victor would be !"
Morren smirked sinisterly, then delivered the final blow.
Hades, gravely injured and unconscious, was struck by him, falling straight into the seemingly bottomless Frozen Cave! A strange light flashed at the cave entrance, and the seal took effect!
Unless a miracle occurs, Hades would be imprisoned in the Frozen Cave until death!
"Success!"
"My plan finally succeeded!"
"I am finally free!"
Morren stood in the void. After narrowly defeating Hades, he couldn’t help but laugh wildly up at the sky. His laughter was rampant and unrestrained, as though using it to completely express the anger within his heart.
His bursts of laughter echoed through the clouds, reaching the nearby Netherworld King Temple.
The nine priests, witnessing Hades being struck down, were all aghast, unable to believe their eyes. It wasn’t until Morren’s laughter reached them that they finally snapped back to reality, their faces turning deathly pale.
"I can’t believe, His Highness lost!"
"Who exactly are these three? How could they possibly possess such power, enough that even His Highness was no match for them?"
"Despicable, to outnumber and overpower the few. Their victory is unworthy!"
"Europe, the tides are changing again..."
The expressions of the nine priests were complex, filled with grief, sorrow, or lancholy.
Each one’s heart seed blocked by sothing; the reality before them was difficult to accept.
At that mont, Morren naturally noticed the nine priests.
However, he didn’t pay much attention to these nine. In his eyes, they were at most just strong ants. Even though he was injured, with a wave of his hand, he could easily kill them all.
Once he regained so strength, Morren gradually descended onto the snowy mountain.
He found Lancelot and Noah.
Both were in a state of unconsciousness. In Hades’ final outburst, half their bodies exploded. Now their souls lingered in their broken bodies, uncertain of when they might awaken.
Morren gazed at the unconscious pair, even considering seizing the chance to kill them.
But he quickly suppressed that thought.
After all, Lancelot and Noah had helped him significantly. Besides, as fellow ancestors of the Blood Clan, there was a certain camaraderie between them. After so thought, Morren finally decided to take them back.
An invisible force gently lifted Lancelot and Noah’s maid bodies.
Morren rode the wind, bringing the two back to the Netherworld King Temple.
Gazing at the magnificent hall before him, his gaze was sowhat complex.
After all these years, he was once the master of this temple.
Now returning, a sense of the past’s transformation filled Morren’s heart. While gazing at the temple, montarily distracted, the nine priests below in the plaza also gazed at him.
Suddenly, one of them recognized him.
"I saw his statue in the temple’s chronicle!"
"He is the previous Netherworld King, Morren!"
A priest, looking at Morren hovering in the void, exclaid in surprise.
The other eight were visibly shocked.
These priests, as guardians of the Netherworld King Temple, had of course heard of the previous Netherworld King. Upon hearing their companion’s words, they, too, gradually connected Morren’s image to the recorded one.
Knowing Morren’s identity, their gazes once again grew exceedingly complex.
"I never imagined the legend was true, the Blood Clan ancestors possess the undying body."
"People said the previous Morren was dead, yet today, he’s reappeared before us. And even defeated His Highness, it’s truly unbelievable."
"I said, Europe is undergoing a change..."
The nine priests watched Morren, whispering among themselves.
Just then, Morren slowly flew towards them.
At this mont, Morren had restored his forr elegance, akin to a true noble. No matter how critical, one couldn’t find a flaw in him.
"You all should already know who I am."
"As for the Netherworld King you serve, I’ve just personally sealed her. If you wish to avenge her, I don’t mind. After all, it just ans killing a few more people."
"I give you one minute to decide."
"Submit to , or die by my hand!"
Morren spoke with utter dominance, looking down imperiously.
Hearing this, the nine priests looked knowingly, their expressions instantly turning cold and indifferent: "We swear eternal loyalty to Her Highness Hades, even if you are the previous Netherworld King, that is history."
"Even in death, we will never yield to you!"
Hearing their words, Morren wasn’t surprised and nodded with a smile: "Very well, your loyalty has moved . I chose to leave you all with intact corpses, allowing your bodies to be buried outside the temple."
"From today onward, I am the master of this temple!"
With a grand sweep of his hand, Morren instantly caused the nine priests to et a tragic end!
On this day, the Netherworld King Temple changed hands once more!
