The two of them were walking down a rather secluded alley. Their car was parked at the other end of the alley, and they had to pass through this alley to get there.
This alley was located behind the comrcial performance venue, far from the street, which ant there were very few pedestrians. Additionally, the massive buildings blocked sound from traveling through, making the area exceptionally quiet.
Ah Bai tugged at Chu Xiaoran’s sleeve and couldn’t help saying, "Xiao Ran, let’s hurry up. I have a creepy feeling about this place. It’s a bit scary."
Chu Xiaoran chuckled, "Ah Bai, I didn’t expect you to be such a scaredy-cat. It’s just a small alley. What’s there to be afraid of? Don’t worry, I’ll protect you."

Chu Xiaoran patted Ah Bai on the shoulder and laughed, "Alright, alright, let’s hurry up and get ho. Maybe you’re just too tired today, and you’ve been scared all day long."
They talked as they walked.

A sharp whistling sound suddenly pierced the air, as if a blade had slashed through it. Imdiately after, both of them felt a chilling sense of dread!

The next mont, several figures suddenly appeared at the entrance of the alley. They were dressed in black, revealing only their eyes, which were as cold as ice, looking at the two of them as if they were looking at the dead.
At the end of the alley, several black-clad figures also appeared silently!
In their hands, each held a dagger. Even in the darkness, one could see the chilling light on the blades by the dim light, enough to make one’s hair stand on end.
"Who... who are you? What do you want?"
With the sudden appearance of more than a dozen black-clad assassins wielding daggers, naturally, both girls were terrified. Chu Xiaoran managed to maintain a semblance of composure and spoke to them, while Ah Bai was completely frightened.

Chu Xiaoran was startled, snapping out of her previous state, she looked up at the figure that had fallen from the sky and saw he was dressed in a black trench coat, exuding an extrely icy deanor.
It was as if a Demon God had erged from Hell!
The assassins had already charged over, and upon witnessing such an unexpected appearance, they were taken aback. However, they were experts, and they reacted very quickly to the sudden change.
They slightly shifted their footsteps on the ground, and their bodies imdiately beca blurry, as if rging into the night, transforming into a wisp of blue smoke, then a cold light flickered.
Two daggers attacked from the left side of the mysterious figure.
In an instant, these people had locked down all the offensive directions of the mysterious figure, striking fiercely and precisely. Even Chu Xiaoran, who knew nothing about martial arts, could sense the terrifying danger from their actions!
Just then, the black-clothed assassins behind Chu Xiaoran also rushed forward. They ignored the mysterious figure and went straight for Chu Xiaoran and Ah Bai!

The assassins were even more shocked, hastily trying to change their tactics, but at that mont, the mysterious figure in black laughed coldly and reached out to grab one of them.
That person couldn’t dodge in ti and his wrist was imdiately seized.
Then the mysterious figure grabbed him and with a forceful tug, the black-clothed assassin let out a pained scream and was then smashed toward the back by the figure!
Boom!
That black-clothed assassin nearly grazed Chu Xiaoran and Ah Bai as he crashed to the ground with a booming thud, and in the process, the several n attacking from behind Chu Xiaoran were shocked into leaping backwards.
"The Clown!"
Chu Xiaoran shouted in surprise at that mont.
Because when the mysterious figure turned around, Chu Xiaoran saw his face, which wore a clown mask that looked sowhat comical, yet possessed a mad insight that seed to see through everything.
"It really is you!"
Chu Xiaoran cried out, her heart filled with imnse excitent, because the last ti she was rescued from bad people, it was this clown. She had never expected that in her mont of danger, the Clown would appear again!
It was as if a Divine Weapon had descended from the heavens.
"What clown, die!"
The black-clothed assassins were furious, as the sudden appearance of this man had thwarted their plan, they attacked the Clown once again!
