Xiao Zheng had just received the contract when Ah Bai hurried over, suddenly rembering that Park Eun-si and his agent were both very arrogant. If they angered Xiao Zheng, it could lead to so terrible consequences.
By the ti Ah Bai arrived, Xiao Zheng was already looking at the contract. She smiled politely at Park Eun-si’s agent, then sat down beside them.

This is an insult to our Eun-si. Therefore, if any term here is not agreed upon, we will not sign the contract."

Ah Bai was startled by the agent’s attitude.

"Never mind the other points for now, but there’s one thing I don’t quite understand," Xiao Zheng continued, his tone barely fluctuating. "The contract ntions that Park Eun-si has another film commitnt in South Korea. You would need to return to South Korea to shoot that film every other day, and additionally, we would have to arrange a private plane for this back and forth."
"Of course." Park Eun-si’s agent replied matter-of-factly: "Our Eun-si has given you great face by coming to develop his career here. We certainly won’t give up the South Korean audience for the Huaxia market.
You should know that being popular in South Korea ans popularity across the whole of Asia and even North Arica and Europe. Being popular in Huaxia is of no use; it just ans earning a bit more money."
At that, Xiao Zheng’s expression darkened.
Without saying a word, he tore up the contract in front of the agent, then threw the pieces in the agent’s face, declaring solemnly, "Sorry, but we do not welco people from Korea."
Having said that and without giving the other party a chance to respond, he stood up, turned to Ah Bai and said, "Ah Bai, let’s go."
"What... what are you doing? Xiao Zheng, this is too much!" Park Eun-si’s agent was shocked and then angrily protested.
"Brother Xiao..." Ah Bai looked at Xiao Zheng timidly.
But Xiao Zheng didn’t pay any attention to Park Eun-si’s agent. He had already left the tea room and was walking toward the hotel’s main entrance, decisive in his departure.

Ah Bai continued, "Currently, those celebrities from South Korea have a lot of fans in Huaxia, and they’re all incredibly fanatical. If Park Eun-si appeared in the film, we’d definitely get a lot of box office receipts."
"Ah Bai, you are mistaken," Xiao Zheng shook his head.

clearly shows that he will not take our film seriously."
"Indeed, you’re right!"
"Choosing Park Eun-si would yield a lot of box office revenue because he has many fans. But wouldn’t that be deceiving the audience? This is miles away from our original intention of making films,
and it’s equally removed from our goal of creating quality cinema!"
"If it’s just for making money, we have a million other ways to do that, so why resort to this?"
Ah Bai listened and beca deeply contemplative.
"Ah Bai, there’s sothing I have to say; you have a big problem," Xiao Zheng said, looking at Ah Bai and criticizing, "In your work, you always focus on imdiate benefits, superficial gains, while overlooking the essentials."
"This was true when you were persuading Xiao Ran to sign with Glory Company, and it’s the sa now with contacting Park Eun-si. Such actions might have so benefits, but they are harmful in the long run. Think it over."
After a long silence, Ah Bai nodded and said, "Brother Xiao, you’re right; I’m sotis indeed too shortsighted."
"Glad you understand," Xiao Zheng encouraged her. "Oh, and cancel all our expenses at this hotel. Since we are not cooperating with Park Eun-si, we don’t need to pay for them."
"Okay."
