The sudden turn of events left everyone stunned.

Not far behind Li Chen, Chu Xi witnessing this, her expression changed as she prepared to call for Hongng Pavilion’s disciples to support, when a cold voice filled with killing intent echoed from Li Chen.
"Unsheathing the sword."

A gentle blade hum resonated from Li Chen’s waist.
They barely saw a movent from Li Chen’s hand, seemingly waving lightly, before his hand returned to his waist the next mont.
A long knife, blood-red from hilt to scabbard, inexplicably appeared at Li Chen’s waist.
Li Chen’s hand rested on the hilt, as if the blade had never been unsheathed.
Yet a blood-red light silently cut across the crowd.
Chu Xi and nurous disciples from the Hongng Pavilion gasped, witnessing the most grueso scene they had ever seen in their lives.
As the red blade light swept past, over half of the opposing crowd’s bodies inexplicably split open in mid-air.
Evidently only one slash was executed, a slash none of them even saw.
Yet the bodies seed repeatedly bisected by a guillotine, nurous bodies severed into pieces.
Blood spurted, filling the world with crimson.
The surviving ones stared at Li Chen with terror, imnse fear evident in their expressions.
While Hongng Pavilion disciples couldn’t feel the slash’s horror, those experienced firsthand thoroughly understood its terrifying nature.
As the strongest among the group, the stubble-chin man looked incredulously at his chest.
There lay a blood streak of unknown depth.
Through it, he could even see his shattered heart. Despite his formidable strength, he knew he wouldn’t survive.
Looking at Li Chen, a wry smile spread on his face.
He finally understood.
He had provoked a terrifying being he should never have ddled with.
But his realization ca far too late.
