Upon hearing Red Moon’s words, the three Supre Treasures almost gasped aloud.
Half?!
This bold kid dares to ask!
Although the Supre Treasures all believed that with Red Moon’s talent, as long as Li Chen invested enough resources to upgrade it, Red Moon would have limitless achievents in the future, perhaps even reaching their level.
But that was just regarding future potential, not that Red Moon could be compared to them currently.
Because there was still a large gap between their ranks!
The Nine Great Treasures could be destroyed, but not eradicated, because even if shattered, given ti, they could still restore themselves.
The Two-Yi Yin Yang Mirror was typical.
Years ago, it was beaten down to just a fra and a few shards, but over the years, it forced itself to restore to its current form, just shy of complete perfection after a night’s rest.
As for the Nine Palaces Heavenly Bead, it was originally one body of nine beads, inseparable and indestructible, yet separated into nine identities in battle.
But as long as the Heavenly Dao Pearl existed, there would be a mysterious attraction in the nether, pulling them back together. Li Chen finding the last three was the best evidence.
But what about Red Moon?
It’s only a heavenly artifact.
Even though the current Red Moon had started evolving after absorbing the Blood of the Strong, it was still rely a heavenly artifact.
The gap between heavenly artifacts and the Nine Great Treasures is vast.
Yet this kid had the audacity to ask for half of the energy.
"Little one, aren’t you afraid of bursting?" the Two-Yi Yin Yang Mirror hesitated to say.
In truth, although it was reluctant, it didn’t matter much, as it could turn any usable energy for its use given the chance.
"Huh?" Red Moon blinked, "Is there that much?"
The three Supre Treasures fell silent, realizing it was a naïve head.
"In your current state as a heavenly artifact, a small amount of energy might suffice for another upgrade. Taking too much might be indigestible." the Heavenly Dao Pearl said, having spent the longest ti with Red Moon, making Red Moon trust its words more.
"Oh, alright, do as you see fit." Red Moon readily agreed.
With Red Moon’s consent, the treasures breathed a sigh of relief, genuinely worried that this young one would stubbornly insist on taking half and end up overloading itself. The artifact spirit might be preserved, but the blade would be lost. Even if reforged, it would likely lose its extraordinary blood-sucking ability.
As of now, neither the Two-Yi Yin Yang Mirror nor the Five Elents Boots could discern what materials forged Red Moon, endowing it with such an eerie ability to upgrade by sucking blood.
The Heavenly Dao Pearl, with its still incomplete mory, was even less clear.
Li Chen... was still practicing alchemy.
At this mont, Li Chen was staring intently at the Pill Furnace before him, his expression appearing sowhat fierce under the firelight.
As if anyone daring to interrupt him now would suffer his wrath.
At this juncture, the redness in Li Chen’s eyes began to intensify.
Initially, there were just so bloodshot lines in his eyes, but as the red began to spread, Li Chen’s eyes turned a complete scarlet.
Yet he did not lose his mind. Instead, the spread of the red brought a chill to his brain.
His previously near-maniacal focus on research cooled slightly.
"Red Moon?"
"It’s , Master," Red Moon’s sowhat tender voice responded.
Almost imdiately upon feeling that chill, Li Chen understood what was happening. Although his gaze was primarily fixed on the Pill Furnace ahead, his mind was considerably clearer... at least capable of speaking normally.
"Master, the mirror says it can absorb the energy from this black water. Everyone’s energy is running dry, and they’re extrely short on energy, so they want to go in and absorb it," Red Moon explained.
"Oh, okay, go ahead then." Li Chen casually consented.
"Master... they an for you to take them out..." Red Moon softly ntioned.
" take them?!" Li Chen’s tone imdiately turned sour: "Don’t you see I’m in the middle of alchemy?"
"But they say their big sister is outside, and they’re too afraid to go out." Red Moon quickly lowered its voice, afraid Li Chen might explode.
"Hmm?" Li Chen’s eyes turned a shade redder, but his brain cleared slightly, and he suddenly rembered, oh right, he was undergoing so trial, and outside... possibly was the big sister of a few treasures?
"Well... alright." Reluctantly tearing his gaze from the Pill Furnace, Li Chen forced himself to calm down.
"Once I finish refining this Fifth Grade Heavenly Pill, I’ll imdiately take you guys out."
"But isn’t the Fifth Grade Heavenly Pill very difficult..."
"Alright, that’s final!" Li Chen cut off without giving Red Moon a chance to argue.
Until Red Moon quieted down, Li Chen muttered to himself: "Originally, I wanted to refine a Sixth Grade Heavenly Pill in one go..."
In Li Chen’s body space, several treasures almost staggered.
This kid, what does he think alchemy is?
Those fad Heavenly Pill Alchemists in the Heaven Realm took hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of years with innurable resources piled up!
And you, a youngster who’d just learned alchemy for a few years, brazenly claims you’d break from Third Grade to Sixth Grade in one go?
But seeing Li Chen had made up his mind, the treasures were powerless.
They could only hope Li Chen would succeed soon.
"I think he’s really close to becoming a Fifth Grade Pill Alchemist." Only the Heavenly Dao Pearl said aningfully.
Red Moon was still naïve, unaware of many things, but the gradually recovering mory of the Heavenly Dao Pearl had witnessed so of Li Chen’s skills and talent. It had no doubt about Li Chen’s swift progress to Fifth Grade Pill Alchemist.
"Is this kid really that formidable?" even the Five Elents Boots could not help but doubt.
"Just wait and see." the Heavenly Dao Pearl calmly remarked.
Just then, the Supre Treasures all caught a faint scent.
"Is this... pill fragrance? Could this kid genuinely breakthrough Two Ranks in a few days?" the Two-Yi Yin Yang Mirror said, rather shocked.
"This will drive the other Heavenly Pill Alchemists in the Heaven Realm mad." the Five Elents Boots couldn’t help but sigh.
"Making a fuss over nothing." Red Moon disdainfully pursed its lips.
The master had risen from the weakest ordinary person to where he was today, having gone through many significant events and created countless miracles. To him, was this not just a piece of cake?
Of course, Red Moon clearly did not grasp what breaking through Two Ranks ant for a Pill Alchemist.
But the Heavenly Dao Pearl understood.
Looking at the Five Elents Boots and the Two-Yi Yin Yang Mirror, the Heavenly Dao Pearl softly said: "Mirror, Boots, watch closely, there will be many more tis when this guy surprises you in the future."
