For immortals, the most important thing is still the enlightennt of the Dao Heart.

Sotis a single successful insight might be more useful than hundreds or even thousands of years in closed-door cultivation.

As Mo Shuang said, most immortals living in the Immortal City are trying to perceive their Dao from their daily lives. The Great Dao is formless; often, a mont of unintentional realization might break through a bottleneck that has confined one for countless years.

A few lines of poetry from Li Chen made many immortals on the top level suddenly feel enlightened, causing so unintentional mories to resurface in their minds.

This, too, is a form of enlightennt.

Although there are many native immortals in the Immortal Realm, it seems that the Immortal Realm places more emphasis on ascenders. Even so geniuses belonging to subordinate worlds of other Great Realms, once discovered by people from the Immortal Realm, would be forcibly brought over at any cost.

This has resulted in a considerable number of ascended immortals in the Immortal Realm.

Even in the pavilion where Li Chen is, there are quite a few ascended immortals.

Within those brief lines from Li Chen, they inadvertently recalled the ti when they were re ordinary seekers of the way.

In the blink of an eye, they now stand at such heights, possessing the immortals’ near-endless lifespan. But what have they lost in this process of striving and ascending?

Ti, often, has lost aning for them. So familiar and dear people might have gradually disappeared during this ti, yet they chose to forget.

Just like the words in the poem, ’How many years have passed tonight in the celestial palaces?’

"I’ll cover the Daoist’s drink!"

A burly immortal suddenly pointed at the table where Li Chen was and spoke.

Li Chen looked sowhat surprised at the burly immortal who had approached his table, but before he could speak, he heard the burly immortal clapping and saying, "Daoist’s few lines just now made enlightened and opened my mind; please do not refuse."

Li Chen hesitated for a mont but finally nodded, not refusing: "Daoist might be disappointed; those lines were rely sothing I heard before. As for the true author of the poem, it seems they are long gone."

"What a pity." The burly immortal shook his head: "But for the favor of your sharing today, this jug of wine is well deserved. Let’s be friends, co."

Saying this, the burly immortal raised his wine cup towards Li Chen, who smiled and lightly clinked it.

"I am Li Chen, a loose cultivator."

"I... am Chi Xin, also a loose cultivator!" The burly immortal laughed heartily.

Li Chen glanced at the immortal nad Chi Xin, not out of caution, but instinctively opened the Eye of the Dao to take a look.

And it was fine not to look, but as soon as he did, Li Chen was startled.

The immortal appeared to be on par with him, a Great Yi True Immortal on the surface, but within him, there seed to be a more powerful force hidden.

The strength of this force was such that he couldn’t even begin to calculate.

"This... is a Venerable-level powerhouse?!" Li Chen was filled with shock.

Chi Xin noticed Li Chen’s expression and asked, "Li Daoyou, what’s wrong?"

"Nothing." Li Chen quickly shook his head. He didn’t know if Venerable-level powerhouses were indeed common in the Immortal Realm, but he did not sense any malice from this immortal, so he temporarily let it go.

Chi Xin glanced at Li Chen, though he was sowhat puzzled, he didn’t think Li Chen could see his true cultivation.

If any random Great Yi True Immortal could see through his cultivation, then he would have been a useless Immortal Venerable.

But he evidently didn’t realize that Li Chen wasn’t a true Great Yi True Immortal.

"Earlier, I heard Li Daoyou’s words; the previous lines seem to have an unfinished feeling. I wonder if there’s another half?" After a few cups, Chi Xin looked at Li Chen and asked.

Li Chen glanced at Chi Xin, curious about why such a powerful individual would be so passionate about an ordinary poem.

Noticing Li Chen’s gaze, Chi Xin shook his head helplessly: "I don’t mind if Li Daoyou laughs at , my realm has been stuck for many years. Hundreds of years ago, I started traveling the Immortal Realm, searching for breakthroughs, yet after hundreds of years, still, there’s no sign. So I don’t want to miss anything that might help my cultivation breakthrough."

"I see." Li Chen nodded.

At this ti, another immortal in the pavilion also spoke: "The lines Daoist Li ntioned earlier were truly marvelous. Not only Daoist Chi, but I also deeply resonated. I hope Daoist Li won’t be stingy in sharing; I’d be imnsely grateful!"

"Indeed, indeed!"

Many immortals upstairs nodded, only a few reclusive ones continued sitting in the corners without moving, but it was noticeable that their ears were perked up.

Li Chen smiled; it wasn’t a big deal and nodded: "Since everyone is so enthusiastic, it would seem petty for to hide."

"Thank you, Li Daoyou!" Chi Xin exclaid joyfully.

"I should be the one thanking Daoist Chi for the drink." Li Chen chuckled.

Raising his wine cup, Li Chen once again drank it all.

Fueled by the wine, he set down the cup, grabbed the jug, and took a big gulp.

"Turn the red pavilion, lower the embroidered doors, and shine the sleepless. There should be no resentnt; why do you always round when apart?"

Looking at the hazy night outside the pavilion, Li Chen sighed softly.

"People experience joys and sorrows, the moon waxes and wanes, such things... have been difficult to perfect since ancient tis. May we live long, and share rare beauty across a thousand miles."

This poem carries a subtle sense of lancholy and desolation, and just at that mont, a long and mournful flute sound wafted up from below, adding to the mood and sending many immortals into contemplation.

After a while, Chi Xin across from Li Chen suddenly widened his eyes, and a quaint and distant aura erupted from within him.

"Boom!"

This aura ca suddenly and burst forth, shooting up into the sky, out of the pavilion, out of the Qinyue Immortal City, reaching the clouds.

"This is..."

"Is soone breaking through?"

"Moreover, I’ve never seen such massive energy; is it a top-level powerhouse?!"

All of a sudden, countless immortals in Qinyue Immortal City gazed towards the pavilion from which the aura emanated.

On the top level of the pavilion, many immortals were awakened by the aura. Looking towards Chi Xin, their eyes involuntarily filled with a strange glow of admiration.

They knew Chi Xin had attained a sudden enlightennt.

Additionally, Chi Xin wasn’t as straightforward as his appearance as a Great Yi True Immortal.

"Hahahaha!!"

Much later, a long laugh resonated throughout the pavilion.

"Five hundred years!! I’ve been stuck at Immortal Venerable for over five hundred years, and today, I’ve finally broken through! Hahahaha!!"

Hearing Chi Xin’s words, the immortals were surprised yet displayed an understanding expression.

Though they envied him, they also realized that from today onward, the Immortal Realm would have yet another Immortal Emperor powerhouse.
