229: Chapter 207 I’m Here 229: Chapter 207 I’m Here The lowest level of Winchester Prison housed inmates far more terrifying than those elsewhere in Winchester, and Li Chen’s target was a subordinate imprisoned here.

Li Chen, accompanied by several people, headed directly to the lowest level, while the inmates nearby, seeing how freely Li Chen and his companions moved, were all stunned, flocking to the bars to watch them.

“Handso, how about letting out?” a female inmate flirted with Li Chen, batting her eyelashes.

She was sowhat attractive, but only by the standards of the prison.

Varieties of prisoners were frantically banging on the bars and cheering loudly, turning the prison into a madhouse for a mont.

“Nether Wolf, do you have enough n in your Nether Army?” Li Chen glanced over the frenzied inmates.

Nether Wolf, one of the Five Commanders of the Nether Army and the silent man previously standing by Quentin’s side, had a disposition like a real wolf—taciturn and reserved, but ferocious and brutal in battle.

He never questioned Li Chen’s orders, executing them without delay.

“Not enough,” was Nether Wolf’s succinct reply, and that was that.

When the Palace of the Nether King had been attacked by the Ghost King, the five divisions of the Nether Army fought to the death.

Among these, Nether Wolf’s division fought most horrifyingly, ending up with barely a few survivors.

Li Chen was well aware of Nether Wolf’s nature, hence the question.

“What do you think about these prisoners?” Li Chen asked with a slight smile.

“Consider taking them in and refining them.”

Nether Wolf scanned the inmates and nodded: “Sure.”

The Nether Army, like its leader, was calm yet ferocious.

No matter how rebellious these inmates were, they would be no match for Nether Wolf, who had his own thods to make them comply.

Li Chen nodded and then continued forward.

Before long, they arrived at the very lowest level of the prison, only to be greeted by a sealed gate.

The gate was made of solid tal and was remarkably soundproof due to its special material composition, making it extrely heavy.

Inside this gate, the area was as bright as day, with inmates tied up by their hands and feet, either suspended mid-air or bound directly to wooden boards.

These people were all from the Palace of the Nether King!

Indeed, this whole level contained the people of the Palace of the Nether King.

They were all injured, so covered in blood that had yet to scab over.

In the innermost cells, several more prisoners were held.

In the very last cell was a woman, a Caucasian, yet exuding a classical charm of Huaxia.

She appeared delicate, and unlike the others, she wasn’t bound but was alone in this cell.

One of the Three Envoys of the Nether King, Catherine.

Catherine’s strength was not great; indeed, she scarcely knew martial arts.

However, she held a position equal to Ning Wangyang and Ye Tu as one of the Three Envoys because she was the Wise General.

Catherine had been the strategist behind several of the Nether King’s battles, with her sches resulting in the easy destruction of several formidable foes.

Moreover, since the establishnt of the Palace of the Nether King, she had managed its operations.

Effectively, she was the proxy of the Nether King.

Ning Wangyang had terrifying strength but no interest in managent; Ye Tu was clever and mighty, but he suffered from an innate injury.

Even though Li Chen had told him how to heal and manage his wounds—resulting in so improvent—Ye Tu would only take action when absolutely necessary.

These three were the people Li Chen valued most, and naturally, the Ghost King understood this as well.

The Ghost King initially wanted Catherine to surrender to him, knowing it would provide him a significant advantage.

He used various soft tactics at first, but Catherine remained unmoved.

Despite his persistent wooing, Catherine never agreed, not even uttering a word in response, which infuriated the Ghost King.

Eventually, he imprisoned Catherine in this jail along with the other mbers of the Nether King’s palace, condemning them all to a sunless existence.

Still, the Ghost King refrained from harming Catherine, deciding to let her out whenever she ‘cleared her mind.’

Yet Catherine consistently ignored the Ghost King because she believed that Li Chen would surely co back for them.

She was not the only one to hold this conviction.

Almost everyone there believed that Li Chen would return; he was their god, and they had unwavering faith in him.

However, those in other cells weren’t so fortunate, with several burly n rcilessly whipping them.

“How’s it feeling, the leader of the Eight Great War Generals?” taunted one of the burly n at a man bound with hundreds of pounds of iron chains, with his robust upper body exposed.

The man didn’t utter a sound as the whip lashed onto his body as if he couldn’t feel anything, but the whip was covered in barbs; each strike tore off a chunk of flesh.

Chu Pojun, the head of the Eight Great War Generals under King of the Netherworld!

Chu Pojun was also a Huaxia person.

He was soone Li Chen had t back when he was still in Huaxia.

Within the Palace of the Nether King, only Ning Wangyang and Chu Pojun were brought over from Huaxia by Li Chen.

The others were not, with Ye Tu being born to parents who immigrated there and discovered by Li Chen in the Gulf of xico.

Chu Pojun’s body was covered in whip marks, his wounds raw and gaping, presenting a terrifying sight, yet there was no sign of pain on his face.

Two other people were tied up beside him, one of whom was shorter in stature but vibrantly energetic, constantly cursing and swearing.

“Fuck your mother, can’t you put a little more effort into it, didn’t you eat?” This person was also Asian, but from a Southeast Asian country, and was one of the Eight War Generals as well.

The burly man responsible for whipping him was covered in cold sweat, his hand never ceasing.

Seeing how the person in front of him remained lively and cursing, he was on the verge of madness.

“Monster, can’t you just shut up?

I’m tired just listening to you scream,” said another man tied up beside him in exasperation, who was also one of the Eight War Generals.

“Ah, Lion, that’s where you’re wrong.

This guy is giving a massage here.

I think the pressure isn’t strong enough, so I’m telling him to exert more,” Monster said with a grin, then cursed again: “Hurry up, put more strength into it.

That’s right, like that, feels good, YES, so damn good, ah, ah!”

The man known as the Lion turned away.

This shit is unbearable; even though Monster’s specialty was taking a beating, why the hell were they screaming like this?

The burly man whipping Monster couldn’t take it any longer either.

Tossing the whip aside, he gasped for air and cursed, “Are you a fucking pervert or what?”

Fuming, he walked away and wiped the sweat from his forehead, sitting down to rest.

The other two also sighed in resignation.

Honestly, these three were simply masochistic—a silent one whom no torture could make speak, another one all insults and roars, appearing unhurt after a while, and the last one, though a bit more normal, seed just as unfazed by the wounds as if rely being tickled.

“Is everyone from the Palace of the Nether King masochistic?” a muscular man asked with a frown.

“What kind of talk is that?” Monster frowned back, retorting loudly, “It’s obviously because you’re too weak.

If you have the guts, let down, and I’ll take on ten of you by myself.”

The few n smirked dismissively, “If we let you down, we wouldn’t have tied you up in the first place.

I’ll have you know, even if we can’t kill you, we’ll keep you imprisoned to death here.

Don’t even think about getting out.”

“He will co back,” Lion William said firmly, his face filled with anger, believing Li Chen would surely return.

At the ntion of Li Chen, Chu Pojun also lifted his head, his eyes sparkling, and Monster Zu Gu nodded resolutely, stating, “That’s right, he’ll definitely co back.”

The n laughed heartily in response, “Your Palace of the Nether King has been broken by us, and as for the Nether King, he’s all bark and no bite.

His own lair has been breached, and he didn’t even dare to show his face; I really don’t know why you follow him.”

“Show your mom!

Let tell you, if you have the guts, fight us head-on.

Don’t fucking stab us in the back.

Otherwise, would we have failed against you?” Zu Gu shouted angrily.

A cold glint flickered in Chu Pojun’s eyes, his anger reaching the heavens as he rembered the day’s events.

Indeed, they had been defeated by Shadow’s betrayal, foiled by Shadow’s sches.

If it weren’t for Shadow, the Sky Ghost King’s nurous experts wouldn’t have necessarily been able to conquer the Palace of the Nether King.

“How pathetic,” the muscular man shook his head, his tone laced with sarcasm.

“The Nether King won’t be coming.

Even if he did, he wouldn’t be able to rescue you.

This prison is specially made, starting with that outer door that the Nether King can’t even open.”

“Bullshit!” Just then, from another cell, a voice rang out.

The muscular man turned around to see the two prisoners, sneering, “No matter what you say, don’t even dream of being rescued.

And, do you want to be whipped so more?”

“Co on, my skin is itching for it,” one retorted.

“Exactly, when have I ever been afraid of you?” the other also declared.

These two were amongst the remaining five commanders, leaders of a branch of the Nether Army.

Being twins, their combined strength was formidable, capable of holding their own against Ning Wangyang for a hundred moves.

“Fine, I’ll co over and loosen your skin!” The muscular n were furious.

“Anyway, your Nether King won’t co.

I’ve got all the ti in the world to tornt you!”

But just then, a sudden explosion sounded at the door, and the indestructible alloy gate was violently split open with a blast!

Instantly, all eyes turned towards the gate, and then they saw a figure, leading a dozen people, walking in.

“I’m here.”
