“I didn’t say I wouldn’t fulfill it,” Kelly replied with a faint smile, took up the glass, and drank it all in one go.
Then, she turned the glass upside down to show she had finished.
“Alright, I’ve drunk the drink, so my promise is fulfilled.
I have so things to attend to, so I won’t keep you company any longer.
Enjoy your drink,” Kelly said with a faint smile as she stood up to leave.
At that mont, the white man also stood up, blocking Kelly’s path.
